Rated 5 out of 5 by texang73 from Lasts longer than non-ceramic blade I have to clip my Fjord fairly often due to the heat and humidity here, so always need sharp blades! These last longer than non-ceramic blades, so much prefer these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MLB2372 from Best blades, sharp even in “hairy” situations! So these blades are excellent and I’m definitely only running these on my Andis from now on. Had already clipped my own horse using a pair, and hadn’t had a chance to sharpen my other blades, when I got a call to fix a clip on a mini that had burnt out her owners clippers! I snapped these on and they went through her super thick winter coat with ease, and could still probably keep going if I hadn’t finished so fast. So worth it, and sharp enough that you’ll get the job done faster, smoother and cleaner than even with the wide T-84’s. They proved their worth and then some! Definitely recommend, my blade case will be full of these for all my regulars next season. :)

When you are clipping do it on a soft surface like a rubber mat, not concrete because the blades break on impact if you drop your clipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlotte from Love the Ceramic Edge blades I was looking for a 1.8 blade, but I found that this 1.5 worked really well. The ceramic blades have been a real game changer for me. They seem to stay sharper for a bit longer, which means a better clip. When clipping other people's horses, unfortunately they aren't always super clean! Ceramic can break if they are dropped a lot, but personally I haven't had this problem. Blades are expensive these days, and these seem like a midrange price similar to my local tack shops.
