Made from a sturdy 600 denier outer that is both waterproof and breathable and 200 g of fiberfill, it will keep your foal warm, dry, and comfortable. Plus, the smooth polyester lining helps to keep coats smooth. Suitable for foals from birth and as they grow, this blanket is designed to grow with them with a front and sides that can adjust up to six inches. It also features a contoured belly arch and belly flap to give your foal a snug and cozy fit. Finally, it also has reflective strips for added visibility in low light. easy velcro for fast securing
I'm glad that I bought this blanket because it started to be so cold already this fall. It is very durable and the baby horse has not been able to tear it up while he is playing.

I bought this for my mini donkey. Its a bit long with his short legs but he doesn't mind! The fit and quality of the blanket are excellent. I would definitely buy this again.

IRISH WOLFHOUND PUP - Perfect!
Bought this in a size 36 for our 140lb Irish Wolfhound pup - great fit and quality. She wears it everyday. We even had it monogramed! Only problem...she already grew out of it. Purchasing another in size 42!

Great for my 2 mini donkeys !
I purchased two of these blankets for my mini donkeys. I am very pleased with the quality and the price...beautifully-made, adjustable, secure fit and very reasonably priced. I initially ordered them in size 42 but had to exchange for 48s. Smartpak, as promised, paid for the return shipping, kept me updated by email and exchanged promptly. One note : there is no fill in the belly-band, it is just fabric to hold blanket securely so it does not offer any warmth in the belly region but the sides of the blanket cover all but the center (underneath). Both donkeys are agreeable with wearing them and they look adorable !! Highly recommend this little blanket

not for mini horses!
The length fit well, but this blanket is not designed to fit a mini around the belly. The straps around couldn't even reach the blanket to close the stomach flap. My mini isn't even pot bellied or fat.

Great for my Great Dane
I bought this a few weeks ago since I decided my Great Dane should finally have a coat that fit. I bought the 36" and probably should have swapped it for the 30", but given the snow and a cold spell, there was no time to exchange! It definitely keeps him warm and dry and the belly band is nice. I find it shifts a bit from side to side - I think this is from the way it sits with the chest closures at their tightest, but may be due to the fact that he is a dog and not a foal.

Perfect for my 165 lb Great Dane!!!
I've been looking for a blanket to use for my Great Dane since most dog blankets don't even come close to fitting him & blankets made for Great Danes are really expensive - almost as much as a horse blanket!!. I've tried about 5 other adjustable foal blanket but this one fit him perfectly! He measures (horse-wise) 36" from chest to tail & is 30" from back of his neck to tail. I only had to adjust the chest slightly and it fits great & covers his rump as well. It doesn't get really cold here but Danes have very short hair & get cold easily. The nylon lining is great, doesn't attract the dog hair. Every fleece blanket I tried ended up getting covered with short hairs I could not get out so the nylon is perfect.

Fits my 120 pound dog perfectly
When I saw this was cheaper than a Jacket made for large dogs bought it. When t came in the mail, I thought t would be too small (30'') but t ft like a glove.. When i walk him people always ask me what pet store I got it at, but they where surprised to hear its for foals.

Fit our mini donkey perfectly
I bought this to keep my mini donkey warm during our cold snaps. He's pretty round through the belly and skinny at the shoulder, so I was worried that the fit might be difficult. He measured 48" and, although the blanket looked large when I opened it, it fit him perfectly!
The adjustment through the front and around the belly is perfect. I love the wide belly strap and the tail cover. It's warm and breathable and so far seems to be pretty rain proof. It's the typical awesome Amigo quality and he looks just like the big kids with it on! Can't beat it for the price.

The foal loved this
I bought this as a donation for someone who had rescued 4 foals from a killbuyers feedlot. I had it sent to the owner who said the foal loved it. The pictures looked like it fit perfect. Unfortunately it must have looked too good because someone stole it off the poor baby.

Very Happy
I just received my blanket and I have to say that I am very happy with it. I've been stressing over finding a blanket that would work for my mini-pony; he is between the size of a true mini and small pony. Fitting him was difficult until I found this blanket. Very happy with the purchase on how it fits, now just hoping that it last!

Perfect pony blanket
I bought this "foal" blanket after I had a hard time finding a pony blanket for my little Gabi. It fits her perfectly and is very well made. I am thrilled and she is warm. No more shivering! Completely worth the money.

Great Blanket
Well insulated for our winter conditions. It fits close to the body with no leg or belly straps for a baby to get hung up on. It even has an umbilical cord cut out for younger foals!
