If you’re wondering what your horse should wear this winter, try Horseware’s Amigo® 1200D Bravo 12 Wug Turnout Sheet. It features a high neck design that not only gives your horse more protection from wind, rain, and cold, but it also offers a great fit for horses with high withers. Adding to the fabulous fit is the V-front closure, which reduces pressure across the shoulders and is ideal for preventing rubs. Of course, the same fabulous 1200 denier polyester from the rest of the Amigo® Bravo 12 line is still both waterproof and breathable to keep your horse warm, dry, and comfortable. Plus, the shine-enhancing lining will keep your horse’s coat looking great. It also has reflective strips for added visibility in low light. Additionally, front and rear leg arches offer extra freedom of movement. Last but not least, a tail flap provides additional protection from the elements while three cross-belly surcingles and a tail cord keep this blanket securely in place.

Great for the bigger guys
My horse is only 15 hh, but he wears a size 81 blanket, and has a HUGE neck and shoulders. This fits him great, and I love the high-neck style (he has a long mane, and it doesn't rub). I love the front closure, and I never worry about the blanket shifting or straps coming undone.

Nice Blanket
I bought this because I was using another brand of blanket that was bulky. I had a smartpak rhino sheet and loved that it didn't ru my warmblood's high withers. Nice quality, as everyone said the tail strap stinks, but an easy fix, I bought the replacement strap. My only complaint is that in the shoulder it is a little shorter than my rhino. My horse does tend to carry his head high and the Velcro takes a little moving around to get just right. Otherwise, nice blanket for the price and no rubs!!

Best blanket
This is our pony's favorite blanket. She is 14.1 hands, long backed, and is not a fan of clothing in general. We got all wug styles to keep pressure off her withers and shoulders - a Rhino sheet, this Amigo medium, and a Rambo heavy. This one is the softest of the bunch, and the fabric is not as "crisp" as the others so it doesn't make sound. I layer this with a 100g or 200g Amigo insulator sometimes, and I replaced the tail cord with the coated Rambo one (available at SmartPak too). I only wish the different weights were available in different colors (trim color is not enough), I'd have bought all 3 weights of this blanket.

Very nice
So far, so good! I bought this to replace another Amigo rain sheet. I am so much happier with the 1200D. I can see it lasting. Also like the neck coverage better. My draft cross is bulky in the shoulders, and this sheet is a little snug on him.

The best all-around rug for me
This is my third Amigo and I also have bought Rhinos. I love the neck design, never have shoulder rubs, have never had a blanket slip or come off despite not having leg straps, and the rugs are very hardy, especially considering that basically my horses live out. For the money and longevity, these cannot be beat.

Cozy and warm
I ordered two of these wugs for my warmblood mares. They choose to be outside even on the coldest and windiest days. They can stay in the barn but prefer being "free". The fit is great. They seem very durable. They shed the snow and mud and stay perfectly clean. Amazing.

Best blanket
I've had this for two seasons and its definitely my favorite blanket. I have the heavy and it is well made, doesn't slip at all, keeps my horse nice and warm, and looks great! The only thing that didn't last is the tail strap, but that's an easy fix. Definitely worth the money.

I'm very happy with the Amigo Wug. Great fit. The only thing I don't like about it is the hind leg strap. Can't remove it (only has one clip) to clean. Because it is a straight across strap it gets pretty nasty.

Great front closure and fit
Love the fit of the blanket for 14.2 hand Arabian mare. My only complaint is the tail strap--IT GETS GROSSLY DIRTY--would much prefer leg straps. My mare appreciates the high neck much more than the full neck that this one is replacing. I've only had it for a few weeks, so can't speak to the durability, but it seems well made and I love the front-closure snaps.

very nice blanket
It's just starting to get cold here in SoCal, so I haven't used it much. It's very nice quality, fits well, and looks like it won't rub my mares's shoulders. Prices excellent for the quality. The tail strap is going to be replaced, though--get the plastic covered cord.

I typically buy another brand of blanket, but was unable to find the size I needed, so I gave Amigo a try. Wow! Great blanket! The clasps are much more robust and I like this brand more! Next time I buy, I will be buying another Amigo!

Nice product! Easy to put on!
I bought the sheet in excalibur and red (the color is rather drab impo but that's unimportant really).
For sizing: My horse measures 75" from center of chest to the tail, so the 72" fits her perfectly. I would measure from center of chest to point of buttock for this blanket.
The best thing about this blanket is how EASY it is to put on. When my hands are frozen, it is priceless. Love the clips and no blanket rubs. Liking the tail cord feature as well (although I purchased the plastic covered one for the blanket) since I don't have to fuss with leg straps.
My filly likes to play in the pasture, practice her caprioles (haha) and roll a lot. Hasn't shifted or rubbed!

Nice!
I bought this for a 13.3H wb/welsh pony. The skirt is not too long for his smaller stature and fits him perfectly. No rubs! Just what I was looking for. Durable and water resistant so far. I bought the medium weight Amigo the end of last year for him and had to apply waterproofing already. So we'll see about this one.

excellent blanket
My Amigo 1200 Bravo 12 wug fits my horse well. I especially like the D-rings so leg straps can be put on this blanket. My mare has not worn this blanket yet ( due to weather) but I expect she will be warm, dry and comfortable in it this coming winter. She never gets blanket rubs from Horseware blankets.

Perfect Fit
I bought this blanket a few weeks ago and glad I did, as I just body clipped my horse. The New Amigo Bravo fits my shark-finned TB perfectly! This blanket has alot more give with the v-front closure and the high neck keeps him cozy and does not rub his whithers. I love that it has a high Denier so its tough and will hold up to the rough housing in the pasture. I also love the color. If this style blanket came in a lightweight and heavyweight in the gunmetal/green color, I would buy those too!

For the Big Guy!
Bought a new TB who is the awkward size of 82 and has a massive wither. I was told that Amigo Blankets are great for the rainy northwest as they are very waterproof. Unfortunately, no size 82. So I went up a size hoping for the best, but thankful that SmartPak allows you to return blankets if they don't fit. The 84 fits very well in the chest and wither. There is a little room in the haunch, but it doesn't seem to bother the blanket or the horse. Did not put excellent as I haven't tested out it's waterproof abilities.

Great value!
I bought my mare last December and immediately ran out and bought her a cheaper set of blankets just so that she would have something. The other brand had a horrible fit & showed her belly (and she is not a very round TB). I didn't want to spend a fortune, so I tried the Amigo line. I have the medium wug, the 400g bravo heavy (standard neck), and the bravo sheet. All three blankets are incredible. The fit is spot on, no rubs, and she is fully covered and comfortable at any temperature. The blankets are great quality and built to last. Worth every penny :)

Smart looking blanket, nice fit
I bought this on year end sale, for my Connemara/TB gelding. I hunt clipped him this winter since he was getting a moderate amount of work, and I don't have a ton of time to make sure he is dry before I run to the next event. The blankets I had seemed to be rubbing the points of his shoulders bald and I thought a "wug" type neck would be better. I thought it would be next winter before I could use it, but a cold snap made it a great purchase. The neck keeps my outdoor cribber even more dry and warmer. The "wug" closure seems to keep the shoulder points from being rubbed, and the blanket is long from shoulder to belly. This helps with elbow caluses. It looks very smart on my black gelding and was as usual wonderful quality from Amigo/Horseware.
