The Amigo® 1200D Bravo 12 Hood is the perfect way to give your horse a little extra coverage during bad weather. Plus, it’s waterproof and breathable and made from the same tough 1200D fabric as the rest of the Amigo Bravo line. Hook and loop closures keep this neck cover securely attached to the turnout as well as keeping it closed. Finally, you’ll love that it coordinates with all of your other Amigo Bravo turnouts.

LOVE THIS NECK COVER!!!!
I really love this neck cover, it matches and fits my Amigo bravo 12 turnouts very nice and it is very sturdy. Two things that I love about this neck cover is that it really does keep the rain out of the top by the ears and by the withers. The material never flips up at the withers like some other brands do. The size is perfect. I ordered a large to fit my size 81" blanket. My horse is a large 17 hh tb gelding, big boned. I also have a second neck cover for my other horse. She wears an 81" blanket and a large neck cover. She is more refined through the neck yet the cover still fits without pushing up against her ears. I highly recommend this blanket and it is worth every penny. Smartpak was awesome. I live in southern Califoria and we rarely have bad storms but we were about to get one that was arguably the worst in years and no stores in my area had this neck cover or something compatible. Smartpak sent the neck cover to me around christmas and said it would be delivered in four days but it was actually overnighted and came just in time for our storm! My horses are thin skinned thoroughbreds, live outside and are full body clipped. Smartpak is always my life saver!!!

Love it!
I bought the Amigo Blanket 2 winters ago and it's a durable, warm, waterproof blanket that fits my 17h Appendix beautifully. This year I decided he needed the neck cover. It's a perfect fit and match to the blanket(even 2 years later) and it attaches easily to the blanket. I wasn't sure how my boy would take to it as he usually pulls everything extraneous off but it was still on him in the morning and he was toasty everywhere. So glad I bought this!

Is a very nice and quality made product. Unfortunately it was not compatible with current blanket on how it attached. I'm just hoping in the future that u could show more pics and description of how hoods attach to the blankets.

Great product- but runs WAY big!
I bought this six months ago in a size Large based on the sizing chart for my 15.3h TB. He has a slim neck, so he was SWIMMING in it. I used it anyway but it always bunches down, so I ordered the Medium. I pulled it out of the packaging and it is still HUGE! I will be returning and ordering a size small. However, it does hold up really well and is secure in the fastenings. I will be ordering again, but I wish the sizing was better!

Good product
The quality of this product is fantastic. However, I ordered the size indicated for my mare, large, because she is in a 78" blanket. I got the neck cover and she swims in it! She doesn't have a small neck whatsoever but you could fit two of her in there! I sent back the large and am waiting for the medium in the mail. Hopefully that fits better. If not, I'll send that back too.

Amigo is the only brand that I purchase for my horse. I just received this so I have not had a chance to see the durability, however, if it holds up like all the other Amigo blankets I have their will be no problems. Very pretty too!

neck rug
For decades I wondered why no one came up with a neck rug. I tried to make something homemade work but never successfully. Hooray for the simple design and easy on/off. Plus the none fill, medium and heavy weight fills are a gift from the horse gods.

Bought this last year for my QH. He's 16hh, performance-type build, wears a 78 in Horseware products, and the XL is perfect. Attaches to both his Amigo Bravo turnout and Rambo Original. Is also very waterproof!

Great Neck Cover
Bought this to go with the Amigo blanket. sizing is good. My only real "complaint" is that the straps that attach to the blanket part are a little akward to velcro on. Other than that I'm happy with this purchase!

It's all in the sizing
I purchased this item last year to add onto my mare's medium weight blanket. I decided to purchase this one to put on her rainsheet. I was surprised that the same size was considerably large; but that was an advantage as it covered more area and allowed room for layering ,even if the underlayer has a neck cover. If you have a horse with a petite neck, you may want to consider the next smaller size.

I just got in my hood, and it is HUGE. I ordered a large for my 16hh warmblood mare and there was enough fabric to put two horses in one neck cover. the quality was fantastic, but it definitely runs big

Great neck cover!
I bought this neck cover a month ago and the large fits my 16h warmblood mare nicely. It stays put better than some other brands I have tried and I love the way it attaches to the Amigo blanket. I have a medium size light weight of the same brand and it is a bit too small - my mare has an average to short sized neck. The large fits her great.

unusually huge neck
I sent product back. My horse is thickly built but this neck cover was large enough for draft horse. At least 12 inches to large around. It was the right length but huge around.
