Really nice solid boots
I got these for free at the Black Friday sale. Brown was the only color available, which is not the one I would have picked. But I’m glad it happened that way. It’s a very pretty color. The boots are comfortable. They fit me well. My foot is on the narrow side, so are my ankles and calves. I wear size 9 consistently in other shoes and that’s what I got. I’m

Great everyday work boot
I have a pair that I wear to muck stalls and do everyday barn work in. The outsides and some have held up great except the cushion/insoles do not hold up to everyday wearing. And they aren’t the easiest boots to get inserts for. Would I purchase again? Absolutely. I have 3 pairs! Plus the winter ones. I just wish they had a better cushion on the inside.

Not impressed
Started wearing these a year ago, out of the box they seemed wide in the footbed, but I didn't mind, until the wideness led to be rolling and spraining an ankle due to the lack of support. These are comfortable for a quick walk to the pasture to bring horses in or driving in the car to the barn, but for real work or riding I do not recommend. After a year of wearing them about 2 days a week the crease where my toe bends for riding is pulling away from the sole on both shoes, so they don't hold up well and I have never gotten them wet, so I'm the market for something else.

So comfy, just a bit big
I bought these boots on sale in July after I officially destroyed my old barn boots. I’ve been wearing them for about 3-4 months. I really like them, but here’s a little pros/cons list to explain stuff better.
Pros
-crazy crazy comfy insole. Probably the most comfortable out of all my boots.
-color is pretty! (I got dark brown, this was out of my usual black boot realm)
-super easy to pull on/take off
-no issues with these in stirrups (will note that I mostly teach from the ground in these though so they don’t get tons of saddle time)
-so affordable!!!!!
Cons
-sizing is big. I’m normally a 8 or 8.5, and got a 39. I figured my foot would expand enough to make it work/socks would help the fit. Spoiler: they did not.
-color started to wear a bit early. I don’t mind but my boyfriend did ask if these were actually new
-tred is a little thick. No big deal for me at the moment but worth mentioning.
-I would probably not wear these in mud - these are not the boots I’d take when going through puddles and gross footing.
In conclusion, I love these boots, but if/when I buy them again, I’ll get a size smaller than usual (I just want a half size smaller. That would make these perfect).

Comfort right out of the box!
I just purchased these boots in hopes that they would have a wider toe box and boy was I happy when I put them on! My toes were not squished together and they have awesome arch support. The footbed is also very soft and comfy, I can only imagine how great they will feel after I have worn them a few times. I will definitely be getting the thinsulate ones for winter riding. These are a good, cheaper alternative to my usual Blundstones. The memory foam insteps pull out easily to put more supportive ones in there. The memory foam is super thin and doesn't add any support. Thankfully, they are pretty roomy for those of us with high insteps or wide feet or those that need orthodics.

So Comfortable!
I bought these as a paddock boot for barn chores. They are super cute and amazingly comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered the 40 and the fit was perfect. I would have given five stars but they do scuff easily (I ordered the reddish brown). This doesn't matter to me as they are barn boots, but thought it was worth the mention.

Nice boots
I really wish these boots would have worked for me. They are well-made, fairly-prices, and exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the 40 was too small and the 41 was too big. I am a size 9 in almost every brand (I always buy 9s in Ariat). I probably could have made the 41 work lengthwise with a good insole, but I have a narrow foot and the boot was just too wide. Maybe Smartpak will make a 41.5. Lol

Does not last
I have had these a few times always a issue with them. Smartpak has been great with returning them but I’m finally giving up asking for a new pair when they can’t hold up even 6 months of use. Sooo sad as I love these boots and they fit and feel great.

Love the look of the boot and I am a consistent size 40 in all of my euro size footwear. Received these today and, as others have said, they run small. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews! Processing the return and ordering 1 size larger.

Love the boots, but disappointed with sizing
I just received these boots earlier than even expected and was so excited to start wearing them! As soon as I opened the box though I could tell they would be too small. I tried them on anyway and sure enough, they were far too small to wear comfortably. Disappointed, I packed them back up and started my return. I did love the look and feel though, so I'll be reordering a bigger size. I was worried about sizing, I've never ordered something with European sizing, so I did my research, took measurements, and still too small! So, I would say that they definitely run small and would suggest ordering up a size!

Solid boot!
I got over a year out of these boots. There was a hole that wore through towards the rear heel, but these boots could have kept going. I ended up donating to a woman in need and am on here to buy a new pair. I beat the heck out of these boots and did zero maintenance or care. Very comfortable and wore almost daily for work and leisure.

Affordable, Quality, Comfortable, Tough
This is my third pair of these boots. My first and second I did not treat well and they lasted 6 months then cracked and the toe bend. My third pair I oiled pretty much every day for the first month and then every time I saw then getting dry. They have lasted over a year and still going strong. These are the most comfortable, affordable, practical, tough boots I have found in 20 yrs. You just have to take care of them (Shocker). Almost every day, I ride horses, bath horses, muck stalls, do groundwork, and teach lessons in these boots. They just don't give up. Must oil regularly and avoid water when possible if you want them to last over a year.

So comfortable and good quality!
I have the Ada Tall lace up boots and needed a short pair of boots, so I ordered these, because I love the others so much. I was not disappointed! These are the only brand of boots I have ever been able to put on and they are INSTANTLY comfortable. I got these, ripped them out of the package and wore them all day, and they were amazing. I ordered the same size that I have for the tall lace ups, and they are exactly the same. I got the brown color because it looks so deep and rich. And it looks exactly the same in person. I can ride in them, I wore them in the 12 degree weather we had a couple of weeks ago with a pair of wool socks, and they were toasty warm. I have gotten them wet, mucky, dusty, scuffed, and they clean up like new. I will definitely be ordering AT LEAST the black pair to add to my collection! They are well made and pretty enough to be dressy too! Bonus! Totally recommend these!

Like walking on rocks
Bought these when they were on sale hoping they were as awesome as they looked. Sadly, the arch support is too far back at the heel which makes it feel like a rock stuck at the back of the arch. Horribly uncomfortable. Needless to say, they went back.

My new favorite boot!
I didn’t expect much from this inexpensive boot but have been pleasantly surprised and impressed! I needed a new barn boot for all- day wear. These boots were comfy out of the box and didn’t require any break in. They are EASY to get on and off, I can pull them on with one hand. The first day I wore them, I walked over 4 miles that day … no blisters, sore feet or foot fatigue. They’ve been confirmed waterproof after a thorough dousing in an ankle deep puddle. Not sure how long they will hold up, but for the price, I can certainly justify a couple of pairs a year considering how much wear and tear I put on my boots.

Loved and Lost
I have looked at the Ada Chelsea boot for a long time and finally decided to give them a chance. My foot is on the wide side so buying shoes on line is a challenge.
I was pleased to see how nice they are when they arrived. Even my husband commented on the quality of the boot. I loved everything about this boot but the fit. There were just to narrow for my foot. So sadly I sent them back. Please SmartPak, help all of us women with wide feet and make this boot in wide sizes!

Love these boots!
I got these boots as a gift last year and basically wore them every day since. They’re incredibly comfortable, look great, and have held up well. I’ve rubbed so much dirt into them that I thought it was time to get a nice pair for dinners and a dirty pair for chores. I even ordered the fleece lined pair for the winter. Only draw back is they run small.

Cute boot!
These boots are super cute! Great value for the price. The only downside is they are very hard to walk in all day long. I would suggest putting Dr. Scholl’s insert or some sort of gel insert to make them more comfortable

nice boot for the price
I had to return them as they were very hard to get on and off once on felt tight in toe length. The elastic gore did not give enough for me, but I have trouble getting on ski boots so just might be my problem.
I think I might have to stick with lace up boots to accommodate my foot high arch.
They were nice looking and a great price just was not meant to be

A very beautiful and high-quality boot that is way too nice for any type of barn chores. Unfortunately they don’t come in half sizes so the nine was too small and the ten would be too big, but my daughter kept them.

Nice shoe
Very Comfortable boot. I like them so much that I don't wear them riding..I wear them as dress wear. The only down side is that they are not waterproof to wear at the barn. Otherwise great boot.
