Instructions for Use:
For best results, shampoo and rinse coat thoroughly. Remove excess water with a sweat scraper. As a conditioner, apply Santa Fe to coat with a fine brush. Apply to mane and tail, then comb through.
As a sunscreen, apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. For best results, reapply every 2 hours for protection during wet or sweaty conditions.

Favored status at my boarding barn
This product performs very well, just spray it onto your dry (or semi-moist) horse after a ride to keep his coat in top condition. I own a grey/white horse, so this is part of our ongoing battle to keep him looking clean and fresh. We use it on his tail too, where it also works great.

Really great feel on his coat — not heavy or slippery. I had to take off a star not for the product per se but for the fact that my buddy doesn’t like the smell. But everyone else at the barn is using it now, so they all love it and I consider it a “donation” to my barn family

I love this stuff, it smells great, makes my boy soft shiny, and hopefully will help keep his black coat black this summer. My only complaint is the sprayer sucks and then completely stopped working after a few weeks. Luckily I had an empty bottle I could use.

Overall Quality Product
I purchased this for my dark bay gelding that I was struggling to maintain a black tail on as he was in 24/7 turnout. Even now that he's only going out in the day, it does a fantastic job of detangling (and keeping detangled) both his tail and mane. Due to the change in his living conditions, it's hard to say how much of a difference the sunscreen is making.

The best coat conditioner!
I stumbled across this product when I attended the NRHA Derby in 2017 with SmartPak. This was the one of the products that we brought to the show, and everyone at the show raved about it so much that as soon as I got home I ordered some. Through the years I’ve tried all kinds of mane, tail, and coat conditioners on my horses and this is by far my absolute favorite! It makes my horse shine and makes it easy to comb through his mane and tail. It doesn’t leave that slippery film on the coat, and it nourishes the coat with vitamin E, is pH balanced, repels dirt and dust, and is SPF-8 to protect the coat from the sun. You can this spray on a wet or dry coat with great results. It’s always in my groom box and I use it every time I ride!

Works well, smells great
My first time using this product, I bought it mostly for the sunscreen for my palomino. After shampooing and using the Santa Fe, I noticed his coat was softer and and had a great shine. He and I both like the way it smells. I put some in a small spray bottle to take on trail with me for reapplying during long rides. I have bought other coat conditioners thatI are expensive, the Santa Fe is a reasonable price. And it works as well or better than the other products and with the added sunscreen it's a winner for my horse.

Nice conditioner
I recently added this to my goo and spray collection, and it's been pretty nice. I can't say that I've used it on my horse a whole lot, but I used it on me for a few weeks and it made my hair amazingly soft and shiny! I will say, however, it made my bathroom floor extremely slick for a few weeks no matter how hard I scrubbed. So, don't spray over slick concrete or tile! I can't say that it detangles well, but it does give a nice shine without feeling sticky! I'm also happy with the price for the amount of product you get.
