Essential amino acids for protein production
Tri Amino™ Powder provides the essential amino acids to help maintain strong muscles, support a healthy topline, and assist in protein production. Essential amino acids means that if they are not provided in adequate amounts, body productions will be limited. As horses, lysine, methionine, and threonine are not produced on their own and therefore can be supplied in their diet. Lysine and threonine are the most likely to be deficient and if found in low amounts can limit the body’s ability to build muscle. A deficiency in methionine affects muscle function and synthesis of structural proteins such as as hoof, connective tissue, and hair health. Lysine and threonine also aid in immune function and is involved in bone health. Results in 20 days!
I love this product. I put my APHA stallion on this to help with building muscle. He was put on this about the same time he was put on stall rest. He was flabby at the time he was started on Tri-Amino and put on stall rest, on about day 20 I noticed that his chest was no longer flabby and was muscular and that he had more defined muscle on his legs.

Really saw improvement in a short time
I bought this for a newly purchased senior gelding. Looking for more muscle tone and topline improvement. In 3 weeks I could see more definition and on top of that, his haircoat is gorgeous! Great price for great results!

Did not see a difference with my two horses.
I bought this to build muscle on my 18 year old mare as well as my lanky 3 year old gelding. The mare appears to have built muscle in her legs. The gelding appears to be about the same. I'm on the fence about the effectiveness of the product.

Works Very Well
I used this on a rescue TWH ( 5 years old at the time) and a young quarter horse (4 years old) and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. I'll attach a picture of the TWH, who has shown the greatest improvement.

Seems to be working
My 5 year old Percheron mare has a noticeably increased energy level (I also started MSM at the same time) whether its the Tri-Amino or the MSM or the combination, I don't know but its very nice. She is normally dull in the summer heat and she clearly feels better during her work-outs. Too soon to really see a difference in her muscle.

Helped build muscle quick
Been using this for 6 weeks and seeing good results. Have an older QH who came out of winter looking shabby- this has helped build him back up- especially in his hind end!

working great for my 24 yr old horse
Added this to Buddy's smartpak about a month and a half ago. His top line has filled out. He no longer has the hollow "dips" on either side of his withers. His muscles are bulking up. Honestly I'm shocked a cheaper product could work so well. I recommend it to my sister in law. She just bought some this morning. Great stuff!

Great for muscle definition!
I started my yearling colt on this almost 3 weeks ago to aid in muscle building. He had already been working 1hr/day and still is, but after starting this supplement I can see where his muscles connect because he is so well defined! He is doing amazingly on it!

Much More Than That...
I have been looking for a supplement for my 11 y/o AQHA gelding. He has recently been introduced to a more intense workout and I was noticing a slight decrease in his weight. Even after, slightly amping his feed up. So, I decided to try and find a supplement to help him keep his weigh, while continuing to built muscle. Honestly, I have never been a big fan of supplements, as i like for a "horse to be a horse". Anyways, I decided to check Smartpak out! The majority of the reviews I seen for this were for senior horses, but I find this product much more than just for that! It really does give my guy that little extra umph, that he needs in his diet. He is somewhat of a picky eater and was a little hesitant at first (typical raspberry face and slight head bobbing) but he loves it now! He even licks his feed pan dry:) If you have an active horse, are starting a new workout routine, or your horse just needs that little extra push for muscle mass or to maintain weight, this is the product! It is more than affordable and it actually WORKS!

Great choice
I put my horse on this a few months ago to help fill in some gaps in his nutrition since he didn't have access to pasture at the time. Now that he does and he is back on a fitness program, he is looking much better and this supplement is definitely helping him get there. He is not a fan of powdered supplements so it took a couple of days for him to get used to it in his grain, but he eats it all up now, so I certainly believe it is palatable, as he is a certified picky eater :)

Great for seniors needing to build/maintain muscle
I started my 29-year-old TB on Tri-Amino a month ago to help him regain some muscle and weight he lost over the winter due to a colic episode. He is a VERY picky eater, so I could not start him on the full recommended amount right away, but eventually he worked up to it and now licks his bucket clean. In the time he has been on this supplement, he gained about 100 pounds (estimated by a weight tape), and the muscling over his hindquarters has improved. It is a slight, but noticeable difference, and I'll continue to keep him on this supplement to aid his muscle maintenance through his senior years.

LOVE THIS!
I own a 21 year old gelding that is an Appendix breed. I used this supplement after he tore a ligament and was going through rehab. He lost so much muscle in his top line when being on stall rest. This supplement was recommended by my vet to help with his muscle problems. It did take a while to notice a difference, but I think that was mostly due to the slow pace we were going under saddle. Once he was on a regular exercise schedule again, the supplements allowed him to KEEP the muscle..which was key for me since he has always been the type to drop muscle so quickly. The picture below was during the summer when he was only getting ridden 1-2 times per week :)

very effective and great value
My new horse arrived quite thin and with little muscling. After a month of correct work I wasn't seeing much of a difference, so a friend recommended I try this product. He's been on it for about 30 days now and I have noticed a huge difference in his topline and hind end. It is a great value and I highly recommend it!

Helps topline
I put my horse on this and my equine sports massage practitioner remarked how much better his topline looked. I ran out of it, and stopped feeding it for a month and when she came back she couldn't believe how the topline was just gone. He's back on it now and will stay on it for good. Also, his hooves have finally grown out the toe cracks (seedy toe) that he had for over a year!

Lots of results!
I have had all three of my horses on this for almost a month and not working them alot and seeing results. Cant wait until summer rolls around. They are on a almost all hay diet with daily grain to feed this powder, the mineral powder and blocks just were not giving them what they needed. I have a 13yr old qh/paint that is a hard keeper and she is really filling out great. My tb is thickening in her withers and hip and my 3yr old qh is filling out everywhere! Love this stuff

Amazing value!
My senior mare has struggled with weight loss and, though we got the weight back on her, her topline was dramatically wasted, especially on either side of her withers. I added this to her feed two months ago just in case she was missing those building blocks to make the muscle. She is 90% retired but I am happy to report that we went on a trail ride this past weekend and I didn't need my "wider wither pad" to keep the saddle from sitting on her withers! No supplement will automatically give your horse muscle, but this is a great and relatively inexpensive way to make sure they can make that muscle. I can't really attest to the palatability, though. My horse gets a lot of food and it's soaked so she doesn't notice anything extra in there!

Little work with Lots of results
I was little disappointed at 1st with Tri Amino cause my horse simply left it the bottom with pail along with one other other supplements. I had to then hand it to him from palm. I found adding it a small amount of apple sauce then stirring it into the feed solved this. The results started becoming visiable in 6 weeks. I have spends several $100 hauling my gelding 150 miles round trip for several monthly visits to an equine chiropractor plus months of exercises to strengthen and support his back I have seen better supplement then with vet care and exercises alone. Even after not being able to work him for 2 weeks I still see additional muscle developement along his spine. The little work to keep the powder from settling in the pail is well worth the results.

Really targets topline
I got my 4yo OTTB last year, which is the first photo. A year later and with this product for the past four months, she looks amazing. With correct training and this product I have found that her topline has increased dramatically, and her hind end strength has progressed as well. Compared to her OTTB peers in the barn not on the supplement, she has truly developed the most. Since on this product, she has gained 130 pounds of muscle.

Works great!
My 9-year-old reining horse was in GREAT shape but has only been trail ridden lightly for the past couple of years and, as a result, has lost a lot of muscle mass. I don't feed her anything other than hay, grass, and a multi-vitamin but I decided to give this a try while I get her back into shape. She's not reining now, but she is getting worked a lot more and I do a lot of exercises and stretches to build up her topline. Her exercise regimen has changed since starting this supplement, so I can't be sure, but I strongly believe it has helped her gain muscle quickly - everywhere including her topline. I'm not sure if I'll keep her on it once she's where I want her to be or if I just want to use it to give her a boost while she's gaining muscle. She eats it plain but she eats like a goat so I'm not sure how palatable it actually is. This product has a GREAT price tag, too!!!

Thankful I found something that is working!!
I purchased this product for my 18 year old retired reining mare that I love to ride but always worry about her topline as she is getting older and has been diagnosed IR and her overall confirmation was diminishing. It has definately helped build up not only her back muscles but also her chest and legs which has helped her confidence and mine also. The only thing I would change is the powder form. It took me several different tries of mixing with other supplements to get her to eat it. I think if I could get all of it in her on a daily basis she would look even better, but I am not complaining!! Thank you Smartpak for all your great products and helpful advice!!

Noticable Results
I have a young mare that is VERY slow to put on muscle and she is worked 5 times a week. I decided to try this product and the results were obvious and gratifying. Her muscles are filling in nicely and she doesn't feel her goodies are being "poisoned" by this product. If you have a horse that doesn't seem to hold onto or put on muscle well, this product is worth a try.

Results seen but my horse won't eat it anymore
I started my 20 year old Anglo Arabian on this product about 2 months ago and right away I was nervous whether he would even eat this product. He ate his grain right up every time this was added along with a few other supplements.. but within the past few weeks he sticks his nose up at his grain if this product is added. I do believe I saw a difference in his muscle tone and topline but I won't be adding this to his SmartPaks any longer since he won't touch it.. :/ Might try the Smart Supplement version. I have recommended it to a friend whose horse will eat literally everything.
