Ideal for horses with heavy workloads, this targeted formula includes limiting amino acids for muscle support and vitamins such as B-Complex to support energy metabolism. Trace mineral elements are in their chelated form to support assimilation and timed-released activation. Added grape seed, digestive enzymes, pre- and probiotics, and malic acid provide support for a healthy digestive tract, improved nutrient utilization, and healthy detoxification. Additionally, Sport Horse Grass has selenium yeast and high levels of fat- and water-soluble vitamins for support in performance recovery. I transitioned my horse to a forage based diet a few years ago, after he experienced some discomfort from a high grain diet. I needed to ensure that his diet was balanced with all of the necessary vitamins and minerals. I started my very picky OTTB on Sport Horse Grass Pellets as a multi-vitamin for a grass hay diet. My horse ate the supplement, with no issues, in his forage mash. The Sport Horse Grass Pellets help with filling in the nutritional gaps in my horse's diet, while also providing him with amino acids for his heavy workload. My horse has done very well on the Sport Horse Grass Pellets and I plan to continue him on them to help ensure his nutritional need are met!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suess from Balances this grass based ration for fatties After balancing and re-balancing this grass-based ration for a small herd of easy keepers, Sport Horse Grass pellets are the answer. It even contains enough salt to meet or almost meet the sodium and chloride needs here in the increasing humid South-central US. It is a bit 'minerally' in taste: ours eat it readily in a half pound to 1# of soaked alfalfa pellets plus 1-2# oats (most won't eat it for long straight or in just the oats). Balances this grass based ration for easy keepers on pasture.

His feet are nice and healthy. I’d love to put all 3 of my horses on it. Still cheaper buying it this way as to buying each individually.

I have used mineral supplements from other companies in the past that had inadequate mineral levels. My horse's hair coat and digestion has improved on this product.

He had been prone to allergic reactions to vaccines, grasses and other environmental factors. His health improved dramatically and, in spite of his advancing age, remains excellent.
