Wonderful product
This has been so helpful for my colt who I got from a rescue. He was under weight, his joints were in desperate need of nutrition and his immune system was suppressed. He has gained 53 pounds and looks amazing thanks to SmartVitw

Good vitamin, need better packaging
I switched three of the horses I care for to this supplement based on a FeedXL calculation. SmartVite Thrive was definitely the best value for money with the vitamins and minerals it provides and I was pleased to be able to make the switch. However, the bucket is very small and 3 horses go through it very quickly. I hate using all the plastic in the buckets, or even worse in 28 days worth of smartpaks for 3 horses. I want SP to sell its supplements in much larger, bulk bags for barns with multiple horses on the same supplement. Then I could just dump it into the bucket for serving. I don't understand why in the age of increased environmental consciousness SmartPak has not done more development in this area. I emailed them about it and just got linked to the same old blog entry about how their employees clean beaches and make popsicles from SmartPaks. That does not address the overwhelming amount of plastic they produce or the places that lack recycling for plastics of this nature. Plastic recycling is not working and not sustainable, we need another option. At least a larger bulk item would cut down on the insane quantity of plastic produced.

Great for some horses, not for others.
I bought this supplement for all four of my horses. They're all too easy of keepers to even put on a ration balancer and I wanted to make sure they were getting the vitamins and minerals they need.
Two of my four horses eat it without a problem. I haven't seen any changes externally, but I know they need it and it's doing its thing internally for them.
But, one of my horses won't eat it, no matter what "tricks" I try and another had a sudden, severe allergic reaction to it, costing me a good bit of money in vet bills.
Unfortunately, it's not a universal solution to every horse's multivitamin requirement.
(For the overall ratings, I'm averaging all four of my horses.)

Great for Easy Keepers
My horse is a super easy keeper and is in light work right now, so I wanted something that would provide him with vitamins and minerals, but without any calories. He eats this pellet completely plain, but pickier eaters may need something else added.

Mare wont eat this...
My mare is a fairly picky eater. Not only will she not eat this, but she wont touch her grain at all while this is in the tub. For days. #rudemare

Super idea
The greatest testimony is that my mare eats them! She is absolutely the pickiest horse ever! It’s hard to tell so soon if they are doing what I hope they do.
