Definitely saw a change
I was using the product for a couple of months when a friend who hadn't seen him go in a while commented how much more "relaxed' and fluid he looked. I told her it must be the new SmartStride pellets! (she has since put her horse on it too!!) Couple days later, another friend made the same comment out of the blue - I'm a satisfied customer and have since convinced yet another person at my barn to switch her teenager OTTB to SmartStride as well!

3rd Month - Seeing Improvements
I’ve had my horse on this for 3 months now and I am starting to see improvements in recovery, pain management and overall soundness. I started it because it has collagen and I really like how collagen has helped me with my pain. My horse seems to be feeling great, and I’m overall very pleased with this supplement. I am typically very frugal with my supplement expenses, but this one is worth every penny.
It should be noted that this horse has been on Equioxx as well as other products to help with soundness. I am planning to remove Equioxx to see if soundness and recovery continues after strenuous workouts.

It works!!!
Tanner is almost 20. He has arthritis and had trouble even walking. We are starting our second month using Smartstride Ultra..he is running up and down the mesa. He is doing so great that l told a friend and she is trying it for her 30 year old. For me, it is like a miracle!

Significant Improvement in 22 yo APHA Gelding
My boy has been on this for about 18 months with significant improvement in his chronic lameness issues. I was supplementing him with Equithrive and noticed that the SmartStride Ultra had a higher percentage of the same ingredients, along with some additional anti-inflammatory nutrients. I am now a believer in the power of Resveratrol with Tumeric. I have gone to autoship because he becomes uncomfortable/lame if I miss his dose for more than a few days. My horse responded incredibly well to the SmartStride Ultra. It may not work this well for every horse, but it improved my gelding's quality of life immensely.

Striding with more eagerness and fluidity
My big 20 y.o. quarter horse, Red Man, was very stiff when I bought him at age 18, but is well bred and well conformed. I figured he needed some rest after being used for years on a ranch and in a feedlot - 10 hour days and lots of work. Now he's 20 and has been on Smart Pac senior flex and ultra breathe pellets for quite a while. Recently I added the SmartStride pellets for his tendons and ligaments. All 3 have helped him. He used to have about an 8" gap between the prints of his hind feet in relation to his fore feet - really mincing and stiff strides. Now the front curve of his back hoof print hits the back of his fore hoof print which is a huge improvement. Now I can really work with him to understand how that kind of stride improves his comfort, his rear-end drive and his movement efficiency. But he needed to be able to DO such a stride before I could work him into an understanding. We're on our way to way better comfort for both of us! I think Smart Stride was the last piece of the puzzle for the two of us. Not it's gradual work and understanding.

So far so good
Started this a month ago and I can already tell a difference. My guy is an 8yr old ottb and has an old Sesamoid Injury and he pops and cracks, has trouble laying down, and gets super stiff. So I figured this supplement would be perfect to try on him. I can already tell he feels much more comfortable, he still cracks a little bit but it’s only been a month so I’m curious to see how it will affect him the longer he is on it.

Oscar has shown great improvement. He shows sign of change in his over all attitude as well as under saddle. He moves out much more freely.

Works great!
I bought this about a month ago for my 12 year old Arabian Gelding, and I already see a difference! He’s not “clicking” anymore! I had high hopes for this product as it’s important to me to have my barrel racing horse feeling good! He’s also a very picky eater and eats it right up!

Love the ingredients!
Bought this supplement for my off-the-track Thoroughbred that has arthritis from a former track injury at the recommendation of one of the SmartPak customer service reps. I am pleased with his progress so far as he certainly loves to eat it & is tolerating it well with no side affects (been on it over a month). I realize it takes a while for these supplements to take effect in their system, but I have not seen any signs of soreness & he is looking & acting great! I am hopeful this supplement will help him in the long run!

Awesome results!
My gelding was slightly off in his stride when I started to get him back into hard work. I had him on another joint supplement but I wasn't getting the results I was looking for. This was recommended to me by SmartPak and I also got a chiropractor out to see him. After a few months he is performing well, isn't off anymore, and feels great!

Wonderful Results
I started giving my 15 year old quarter horse this supplement about 3 months ago. He was having some issues with his upper suspensory's on his fore legs as well as some stifle issues, and I was recommended to try this product. He is now back in full work, moving and acting 10 years younger! He is a picky eater but eats this supplement right up, with or without grain. Overall very pleased with this SmartPak supplement!

Not a good experience
When my horse, Freckles, initially moves, we hear a crack, like what one hears in ones own knees. A SmartPak consultant suggested I try SmartStride Ultra Pellets. Within a week of using, he stocked up in his hind legs and his knees had hot spots. I quit using and he's back to normal. This product doesn't work for my horse, but may for a different one.

Tough with my picky eater
I was very excited to find all the great ingredients in this supplement. My super picky eater seemed ok with a 1/4 of the daily recommended 2 scoops (3 wells) for the first two weeks. Once I tried to slowly up the dosage to 1 scoop per meal (so we could get the recommended 2 scoops per day) he turned his nose up and only picks at his grain. Bummer because this seems like a great supplement.

Great product!
I really like this supplement for my horse! He has a history of hock and navicular issues and I can definitely tell he moves better since starting this supplement. He typically needs routine hock injections, but at the last checkup the vet said he didnt need any injections!

It works
My little Morgan has struggled with arthritis after years as an Amish buggy horse. Two rounds of Adequan and unlimited turnout helped, but she was still stiff and her hocks were "clicky." I talked to the rep at SmartPark who recommended this product. I was skeptical, because it was a bit pricey and I didn't think my mare needed collagen --> I was only focused on bony joints. I was also concerned about how much (or how little) of it would actually stay in her system. But I was wrong. Six months later, her stiffness is much better, even in the dead of winter when joints get creakier. She's playful and seems much more comfortable, whether she's playing in the field or working under saddle. She gets a veterinary checkup in another few weeks and I'm looking forward to what the vet says.

Replaced pentosan
my horse has been on this about 2 months. He normally gets pentosan every 3.5-4 weeks and I can tell when its time because he will be stiff to the left. Since we started this, I have been able to stop the pentosan! I still might use the pentosan for support during show season, but I'm super impressed with this supplement

The answer to the lameness
One of my dearest equine friends is a 19yo 18h Percheron who has quite a bit of arthritis in his haunches. We had originally put him on SmartFlex Senior to complement his Rx, but after a while he developed significant lameness at the trot. His farrier suggested turmeric, but I was darned if I could find anyone who could tell me the right amount for his size. We stopped the Rx and added spirulina, which helped significantly, but when SmartStride came out we switched from the SmartFlex, and we’ve seen a world of difference. He still has stiff days from time to time, but the lameness is gone and he’s no longer occasionally dragging his left hind toe. His trot is springy and he’s asking to canter again, which is huge (no pun intended). For him, this is keeping him active and comfortable and, if anything, more supple than he was five years ago.

Initially skeptical - now a believer
Before I adopted her, my mare spent over a decade pounding pavement as an Amish buggy horse. She tried hard with us but had intermittent soreness in her hind legs, plus stiffness in her forelegs (her knees and ankles just didn't bend much). We did two rounds of Adequan, chiro/massage, tons of turnout and time to heal, and she made terrific improvement but was just not quite "there" yet. I was skeptical about this supplement but decided that I would try three months of it and re-evaluate. Six weeks into using it, the improvement is dramatic! I think it's a valuable part of our regimen to keep her comfortable with a workload that is comfortable for her semi-retirement years.

Fabulous product
I bought this for my Paint gelding that has back end issues. I have some to my Freisian mare that has dropping stifles and she responded beyond my wildest dreams.

So far so good
I am on my third month using this. I have seen a good result on my 21 year old gelding. I have used other supplements without improvement. He seems much happier and moves a lot better under saddle.

Works for my mare
My 11 yr old OTTB jumper mare has been on this for 2 months now. She is noticeably more fluid and reaching up under herself now. She always had wind puffs on both hind fetlocks(left was always worse) and they are both gone now. If she misses a a few days of this supplement they come back(took her off a few days to test this theory. They came back within 2 days and were gone within 24hrs of starting this supplement again). She will never be off of it again! Works just as well as another more expensive supplement at half the cost!

Sounds great/time will tell
I started my Horse on this new joint supplement because it has some different ingredients and I’m hoping it will make a noticeable difference. He has only been on it a little over a month so it’s too early to know for sure but I’m seeing a positive change in his willingness to work and the flexibility of his neck! Fingers crossed that he will continue to improve over the next couple of months..
