Picky Pony Gobbles it Up!
I switched from a similar Platinum product to this... much cheaper! And the pony likes it--I don't have to worry about her leaving it in the bottom of her bucket! I've only been using it for a month, so it's hard to tell if the pony will be better on this supplement, but she's doing well so far!

Saw improvement in two months!
My gelding is almost 19years old and had past tendon injuries. I noticed he was getting sore and lame more often (especially in these cold winter months) he’s been on this for almost 2 months, and he is as fresh as a four year old! We went to a show last weekend, and people didn’t believe me when I told them he was almost 19!

Using for all my lesson horses
I'm on my second bucket, second month of feeding to my lesson horses. Our horses are worked 5 days out of the week and I wanted something to sustain them with the workload they get. I read from another reviewer that it's great for horses of all ages. I'm feeding to 10 year old gelding up to 18 year old mare. So far I really like it.

Great product!
I bought the SmartStride Senior Pellets for our 20 yr old paint mare. She was showing significant stiffness in her joints related to arthritis. Since she’s been on these pellets there has been a vast in her mobility and energy! She is officially retired from the show but it’s wonderful to see her running around in pasture enjoying her retirement!
I recommend this product!

My 17 year old acts like a 5 year old
I started my 17 year old QH mare on this in April, We bought her from KY, Shipped to NY, She was shown a lot before we bought her & she is semi retired. She had some previous injuries & normal wear & tear. I noticed her being sore & stiff, its now December 2019 & she is so darn spunky & moving around, Bucking & running that I called to find a calming supplement!

NOT JUST FOR SENIORS!!
I read EVERY ingredient in my horses pellets.. If there is an excessive amount of big worded things, I don't want it! So to me, this is THE SUPPLEMENT of ALL joint supplements!! You have MSM, Boswellia, HA, glucosamine, TURMERIC!!!! For me, those are the #1 ingredients I look for in a joint supplement! Not to mention, turmeric does so much more than just help with joints! I give this to my 5yo, 9yo and my 15yo - don't let the name fool you because its not just for seniors! I'm so glad I read the ingredients because I searched for hours trying to find the perfect supplement, and to me this is it! Best joint supplement at the best price, with the best ingredients!!!!

My 25 yr old is trotting again!
Finished the first bucket today and it just so happened I walked out of the barn to see my 25 yr old standardbred trotting and bucking through the field. He hasn’t done that for a while! He looks good too. Lots of dapples! Love this product!

She's Jumping Again
I've been using this for about 5 months now and I'm thrilled with the results. I'm responsible for the care and riding of my sister's mare, Dreamer, a 1999 OTTB mare with some pretty serious osteophytes in her hocks. Since my sister purchased her in 2015, she's been fighting with obvious arthritis. Dreamer, who was proficient at jumping 3'9" prior to purchase, started bucking or shying when cantering under saddle, wouldn't go over trot poles and became short and jabby in the hind end over time. Once I had, rads done, it became obvious why. We gave her six months off to allow any irritation to go away and put her on a combo of SmartFlex pellets and equioxx. Though she was somewhat more comfortable, I definitely was not seeing the difference I wanted to and keeping her on the equioxx presented and ulcer-risk (thoroughbred being prone to them as they are.) So I went back to the drawing board and found this. I dropped the equioxx and the SmartFlex in favor of the SmartStride senior pellets and boy am I glad I did. Within a couple weeks, Dreamer was brighter when riding, and wouldn't get tight going into the canter. She was so relaxed and so happy I decided to try jumping her. She loved jumping before the arthritis really set in. Now, she is happy doing a few cross rails and 18" verticals at the end of her rides and she'll happily stretch out her stride to a hand-gallop at a canter, where before, she'd pick up a choppy, stunted gate. SmartStride Senior has made it possible to keep going with a horse my sister and I were strongly considering retiring for good, and made it possible for her to run like a wildthing with her much younger pasturemates without the painful consequences later. It's great to see her so happy again.

Great support for older gymkhana horse
My daughter competes in gymkhana with her 16-year-old Morgan gelding and I worry about keeping him comfortable. I chose this supplement for him because it has so many ingredients for joint and connective tissue support along with antioxidants like turmeric, resveratrol, and vitamin C. Because he’s not a fan of powders, it’s an added bonus that this formula comes in a pellet.

Perked my older gelding right up.
I've fed SmartFlex Senior for several years and have been happy with it. However, this winter my older gelding seemed stiff and was less active than normal. I decided to try the SmartStride Senior and I must say...it definitely perked him up. He became more active and loves to play with his younger gelding pasture mate. The old guy gives him a run for his money. So far, I'm very pleased with how this is working for my guy.
