Faster Recovery Time
I decided to put my 21 year old Dutch WB on this supplement after when he was having trouble coming back after our conditioning rides. He was already on an amino acid supplement to help with muscle building, but it appeared he needed additional support for his muscles to recover. Since I've started Pretzel on this, about 4 months, he comes back from strenuous work outs faster, he is more willing to work harder and longer, and his top line improved greatly. We're working towards our bronze medal, so a happy healthy horse is key! But even more importantly, at his age, he deserves every comfort possible and this has seemed to mitigate a lot of his muscle soreness.

Looking Goood
I started her on this last month. And she appears better - I wish they could talk! However, we have made some other changes too so it is hard to tell. She has fibrotic myopathy that is less than a year old so tough to tell if this is working. But he is sound and very willing to go forward. I wish on supplements that SmartPaks would give us a few months before asking for a review. Really with any product, even a girth, you need a couple of months to know if it makes a difference. That's why I gave 4 stars - I'm not sure it's the supplement. But she is picky, she does eat it and she is going better.

Good results
I started my 21 year thoroughbred horse on this supplement last month. He had developed EPM January of 2017 and has recovered for the most part but has struggled with increased muscle soreness. The smart muscle recovery has helped to decrease his muscle soreness especially in his back. Am very excited to see if there are continued benefits from this supplement!

I think it's working!
I've had my mare on this for about 2 months now, she seems much happier under saddle and more sound! She still comes out stiff if I give her too many days off, but that's partially the weather's fault. I'm so happy my horse is feeling good!

Comfort during recovery
Had a horse with a sore back for about a couple months and I put her on this supplement along with a therapeutic blanket and less intense riding. She's healed up great and is back to her normal self.

Incredible difference
Great product when teaching a horse new muscle straining maneuvers. Noticed a lot of muscle pain in my mare while learning sliding stops, it got so bad she would shy away from my saddle and pad because there was so much pain in her back and hind end. 1-2 weeks with this supplement and there has been no shying away and she is stopping much better. Had a certified massage therapist check her out and saw ZERO signs of muscle pain when prior to the supplement she would buckle and almost sit down, when palpated, from the pain and was getting massaged 2+ times a month. Highly recommend for horses building a lot of muscle or getting into a greater body condition

Super impressed
I bought this for my mare who is moving up the dressage levels and needed some muscular support. After starting her on this supplement, her soreness after training, travel, shows, etc, is non-existent.

Doesn't work for my horse
I've been using it now for 4 months and I haven't seen a difference in my horse. He still has back muscle soreness. I've made sure all avenues are covered, saddle fits, chiro every other month. He's just a young guy who is learning to use himself properly and I was hoping this would keep him comfortable. Guess not.

Ready to show on day 2
I decided to put our OTTB on this formula as I noticed that during shows, on the second day he was not performing as well as the first day. So I started him on Recovery Pellets 30 days prior to the show; and I was very pleased that he was as excited and performed just as well as he had on the first day - Double champion for the weekend !!

Amazing Difference with Smart Muscle Recovery
I start the Smart Muscle Recovery with my daughter's gelding about a month ago and have been completely amazed at the results already. He has much more energy and is able to be ridden longer and on a regular schedule without any soreness. His overall appearance has even improved resulting in others commenting on how much stronger and healthier he looks.

No differences
I have had my mare on this for almost 2 months now and I have not seen any difference in her. I was hoping it would help her muscle tension with her being retrained in dressage but it has not. I have had her looked at by my vet and he confirmed that it is muscle and not joint.

Awesome Product!
I have been using this product for about a month to help with some muscle injuries. I can already see the difference. My horse's shoulder muscles have more definition and he is more willing to work through rehab to get back in shape.

I've only been using this a month, and did notice subtle changes in my horses movement and attitude. He's got very tight muscles and his top line is on the weaker side.. I will try another month and see if there are further improvements. I really like the ingredients.

Delivers as promised
I had my thoroughbred gelding on Smart Muscle Mass for a while to help him build those muscles he never had before and it worked great, but then when we pushed the work a little harder (rocking back more on his hindquarters for dressage, etc) he would come out a little tired the next day. Switching to SmartMuscle Recovery has really helped alleviate his slightly stiff hindquarters - wish they had the same for people!

Works and picky eater eats from hand!
I bought this 1-2 months ago. My OTTB and I are working very hard on flatwork and being round. The chiropractor stated she was very sore due to all the focus on flatwork and after her adjustment stated she needed a couple days off of lateral work. I decided to try this out while simultaneously giving her the muscle mass as well to help build up muscle and stamina. The next visit the chiropractor mentioned she's not body sore and looking great. Plus Belle is a very picky eater and she takes this right out of my hands after her workouts!

Worked to build topline
I tried this supplement because my gelding was getting intermittent back soreness. It didn't really do anything noticeable for his muscle sensitivity, so I took him off of it after a month. During the time he was on the supplement, his topline really bloomed. It had been very hard to build muscle, and in the couple of weeks he's been back off of it, his muscles are shrinking again. I'm going to try a pure amino acid supplement to fix that problem first before going back to SmartMuscle Recovery just because it didn't do much for the primary purpose that I tried it (recovery).
It was very palatable to my horse unlike one of the combination Smart supplements I tried on taste test.

Seems to help!
It is challenging to find supplements that my horse will eat so I was thrilled when she gobbled these up! I have only been feeding SmartMuscle Recovery for about a month but it seems to be increasing my horse's comfort level. I like that it includes tart cherry powder. I take tart cherry juice supplements myself and have noticed a difference!
SmartMuscle Recovery is just one piece of my mare's puzzle, but I am grateful that a product like this is available.

Muscle Magic
My rescued rodeo guy has been on Smart Muscle for only a few weeks now, but I am already seeing results of more freedom in his movements. Even with the cold weather we have had I see a more comfortable walk and a horse more willing to join in a pasture run or two. I am very pleased with this supplement.

So my horse was having issues recovering from strenuous exercise, after consulting with my vet we opted to change her diet to a low starch complete feed as well as SmartMuscle Recovery and SmartPak Vitamin E pellets, she has been a different since the change. She is much more willing to work and doesn't get tired as easily.
