It Has Helped

So easy to use!

Less scratching
Smart Itch has been helping my mare that has really bad skin issues in the spring and summer. She normally has scratched/rubbed her hair off from her jaw down to her legs back to her shoulders by July. She gets welts and cuts and infections from rubbing so hard. We tried many products to no avail. She is not hairless now, which I attribute to Smart Itch.

Good for my very sensitive mare
I started SmartItch-Ease™ with my 7 year old OTTB two weeks ago. I have struggled with skin issues since I got her this spring and I thought it was worth a shot. She had terrible sweet itch, rain rot and was being eaten alive by biting flies. I had to introduce the supplement very slowly because she sounded like a dragon snorting when it was in her bucket and she was very turned off by the taste. I started with half a well morning and night and have increased to full dose. I do feel that there’s already a difference in her skin condition and she doesn’t have welts and hives as previously from insect bites. Will definitely keep her on this and watch results.

Horse Won’t Eat It
I can’t say if it works or not because I can’t get my horse to eat it. He isn’t even slightly picky and up until now I hadn’t found a single thing he wouldn’t eat. After he didn’t eat it in his grain, I tried soaking it in his grain, adding it to his soaked alfalfa pellets, and mixing it with his favorite treat (apple sauce). No matter what I do, he won’t touch his grain with this supplement in it. Not worth the money is you can’t get the horse to eat it.

Seems to work
Walker is on his 2nd shipment of this stuff and it seems to help. He isn’t as reactive to insects plus he has a skin condition on his back that also seems to be improving. So I will keep him on this product for the rest of the year to see if it is really helping. He didn’t eat all his supper the first night I gave it to him, but has no problem finishing it since. I mix it in with his Nutrena feed and beet pulp.

It seems to be working BUT
I got this to help my mare with her itchy skin from the summer insects and heat. It seems to be helping, BUT I am struggling to get her to eat it, I wish it was in pelleted form. . She is not a picky eater, but is not a fan of the crumbs. I am adding a little oil, but she doesn't need any extra calories or fat. Any suggestions on what else to do to get her to eat it?

Excellent product
I recently started my mares on this as she gets really itchy during the summer months. So far she’s not as itchy. She had some sores from fly bites on her legs but they seem to be healing now. So nice to have no scabs on her

This was not at all effective for my horse. I used it for 4 months through out the summer and it did not help to reduce my horses scratching.
