Great profile doesn't matter if they won't eat it
My horse has a scar in his coronary band that causes a crack to form in his hoof no matter what, so I use supplements to strengthen the hoof and minimize the damage. Farriers formula double strength has worked very well for me for over a year, and he loves the taste. However, Smarthoof Ultimate is more affordable and has some ingredients that support joint health, so I thought I would give it a try. My horse won't touch the stuff. I can mix it in his normal feed and cover it in molasses and still no luck. He will eat Smarthoof basic with some coaxing, but it is a huge hassle and he will not go near the 'better' Smarthoof Ultimate, so I am switching back to Farriers Formula and I am grateful to have such a solid fallback. If your horse eats anything this supplement may work for you, but otherwise order with caution.

Does what it says it will do!
My gelding has always had thin walled and soled feet. He seemed to be sore in his heels at times, just overall feet health issues. I started him on this supplement and within a couple of months, the improvement is remarkable. He stands better, his feet look better and the farrier sees the improvement. Highly recommend.

Amazing!
Started my horse on this several months ago and have since seen a total transformation in her feet. She's growing more, better quality foot. Paired this with balanced copper/iron/zinc and she's gone from missing shoes every other week to one off in the past 6 months. Definitely recommend. My picky TB eats it right up.

Amazing!
My OTTB Spartan has had terrible feet since I got him and he’s been on Smarthoof since we got him, recently we had a carrier do a bit of a chop job on his feet without telling us why, after that we upped to SmartHoof ultimate in the hope that it would help a little more than the regular SmartHoof . Boy did it! 2 months later and the feet look so much better!! not quite perfect yet but it will get there for sure! If anyone questions if it works, Spartans feet will tell you it does!

Everything My Horse Needs
I've had my horse on SmartHoof Pellets for years and the SmartCirculate on and off for years also. Both have helped him immensely. He has narrow feet, sensitive feet, and poor hoof growth. I was so excited to see my two favorite hoof supplements in one! His feet continue to look amazing and his legs don't stock up as much when it's hot and he has to be in his stall. I've had no sore feet problems since using this supplement and he continues to be sound and happy at 23 with no pads! The only thing I don't love is how expensive it is but it's worth it to no have $300 farrier bill every month! My horse isn't picky and will eat anything so I can't really comment on how tasty they are.

Absolutely Wouldn't Touch These
Unfortunately these must smell horrible to horses, my mare wanted nothing to do with them. I was hopeful as the ingredients are fantastic but the smell is a big thumbs down. Sadly an expensive waste of money, I can't even finish the month on another horse as nothing will eat it.

Tastes Awful
Our horse dumped his bucket on the floor after smelling them. His paddock mate, a fat, not picky eater, wouldn't even clean up the mess. I'm bummed, I was really hoping they would be a big help :(
