Really works!
My mare always had dry and cracking feet that were so weak she could not hold a shoe. She is a very picky eater and i found it hard to feed her supplements but she really liked this one! after a little over a month her feet went from terrible to incredibly strong she is so much happier and moves so much better I am so thankfull for Smartpak.

Didn't Work
Tried this before I switched over to Farrier's Formula Double Strength and it wasn't working. My horse's hoof growth wasn't anything spectacular, and it wasn't strengthening his hooves which is the biggest issue we have. The price is nice.. but the quality isn't that great.

Fast growth!
I have a mustang with poor feet as far as mustangs go. Very slow growing, she'd barely grow anything in 8 weeks. Been battling white line for awhile. No heels. I had her on another hoof supplement before this, but after about two months of smart hoof she grew enough to need the farrier out less then two weeks from her last trim! It was mostly heel too. Her feet are growing like weeds now. She likes these pellets much better then the previous non-pelleted hoof supplements as well. These are a great supplement.

Feet look great, totally unexpected tail growth
I’ve always had great results with Majesty’s hoof wafers, but I got a little bit lazy and switched one horse to SmartHoof a few months ago (he was already on another SmartPak). His feet are looking fantastic, even with all the mud we’ve had, but I was amazed this evening how much new growth there is in his tail since the beginning of the winter.

Taste unacceptable per OTTB
This is the third hoof supplement I have tried for my OTTB. Not sure what is used to try to make it palatable but my boy just rejects it flat out! Thank goodness I didn’t mix it in his daily snack or he would have rejected the entire bucket. Too bad...I am sure other horses aren’t as picky.

Works Well so far
My horse was previously on another lower concentration biotin supplement, but upon searching the internet I decided to make the switch and I have no complaints. I have seen his hooves on no supplements and can say they are certainly better, even a little better than on his previous supplement. I like it so far. I cannot rate the picky eater thing, my gelding will eat anything edible if its in grain, and he eats this no problem.

My horse won't eat it :(
Given... my horse is a VERY PICKY eater. He absolutely hates it. I swear I used to feed this same supplement a few years back and he ate it okay. Not sure if the ingredients changed or if his tastes changed (He won't even eat alfalfa pellets to give you a frame of reference.. the only grain I have found he likes is Strategy GX). However, my other horse did eat it (although she turned her lip up immediately after lol). I am disappointed that I wasn't able to see how it works as other smartpak products have seemed to help in the past.

Excellent ingredients for the price
My horse has only been on this product for a month, so I honestly can't rave about results, ....yet. My horse foundered before I got him and has bad hoof quality. He did well on a supplement from a local store, but compared to the ingredients in smart hoof, there is no comparison. I expect that by the time I'm done with the first bucket of smart hoof, my horse's hooves will be noticeably better. I look forward to writing another review six months from now!

Farrier has noticed a difference
I have an ottb right of the track and he didn't have the greatest hooves. My farrier suggested I don't spend a fortune on supplements right off the bat but i wanted more than just his suggestion of gelatin. I found SmartHoof pellets and I couldn't go wrong for the price and ingredients. After a month on the supplements the farrier said his feet are looking better.

Not Palatable
I started my "I will eat anything" mare on this supplement 3 days ago. She spat the pellets out as soon as she got them in her mouth. Tried mixing pellets with Equi-Sweet Peppermint - wouldn't touch them. Tried mixing with some alfalfa flakes - her favorite - wouldn't let me get the feed bowl near her. Tried this supplement on another mare who will usually eat anything in her feed bowl (pellets, grain) or out of my hand. She also spat what few pellets she got in her mouth right out.
Can't rate the quality or value of this product since neither of my horses never got to try it out.

Working great for our Mare... she was not able to keep shoes on and had soft feet. Had major cracks , would not walk on hard surfaces. She’s doing much better!!! Major improvement!!! Will continue to keep her on this!!

My horse won't eat them
My horse will eat pretty much anything but he leaves these at the bottom of his bucket. I switched to another brand that he eats much more readily. Can't speak to the effectiveness as he won't eat them but may give them to his mother if she will eat them.

IT WORKS!
I put my TB mare on Smarthoof as soon as she came to me off the track. A few years later I moved her to my house and since she wasn’t boarding anymore, I thought I would just buy buckets of the “other stuff” and measure it out myself. Fast forward a few months and her shoes were coming off, abscesses were happening, cracks, it was a mess. Put her back on the Smarthoof and now—no more problems! Can’t argue with results. Worth every penny.

Works Somewhat
I had high hopes for this product, but all it did was make his feet grow faster than normal. His feet still crack and are dry. I would still recommend trying this to see if it works for you and your horse. But I decided to switch to a different hoof supplement and am hoping to see better results.

Product changes
It seems that the Smart Pak branded products change frequently. 2/6 horses in my barn that use Smart pAks have noticed that supplements their pickier horses ate, suddenly dont. I often can smell a change in the. It appears they change manufacturers and something changes in the taste. The convenience of smart pak is great. I now only by name brand supplements.

My ferrier recommended this product. We have been using it for almost a year, increase hoof growth, feet are getting strong and shoes are staying on. Very happy with this product and the price is great too.

A product that works
A product that actually works well and quickly. So much so that my farrier noticed increased hoof growth the first 6 weeks he was on it. We are still getting him through but if it were not for Smarthoof ( and my farrier) I don't think I would have the horse that I have now. Happy, sound and running with my other horse. Thank you.

Great Saving
I have been using SmartHoof Pellets for a few months and I have noticed quite a difference in my horses hoofs. I decided to start using the pellets from the bucket as I can keep them at the barn and not worry about them be ruined or stepped on when they are in the individual packets.

Great product!
I started out with the single dose packs of Smart Hoof Pellets, because one of my horse's hooves were horrible. After using it for one month, his looked so much better, that I decided to buy it in bulk and feed to all of the horses. All three of them have shown a noticeable improvement to their hooves in the last month. I will continue to use this product.

Small Serving with BIG Results!
I absoluey love what this product has done for my thoroughbred's feet! I've tried lots of products but the quality of SmartPak cannot be beat! Not only do SmartHoof pellets get results but my mare loves the taste !

Poor taste
I was excited about this product but my horse won’t touch it. No matter what i do, my horse won’t eat it. Even a forth of a scoop my horse won’t touch his grain. Very disappointing
