Great hoof supplement
My 17 year old quarter horse gelding has had hoof tenderness for years. I've tried many other supplements with little success. But I've really noticed a difference since I started him on Smartsox. I will definitely keep using this product.

tender foot
Have been using this a month--I think it is giving more relief to my horse's tender hooves. Am going to try a 2nd month and see if results are consistent with 1st month.

I put my new mare on SmartSox after fighting sore feet with no hoofwall growth for several months. After a month on the SmartSox I noticed a definite amount of growth to the hoofwall and she seems less sore. In combination with hoofboots for turnout she is noticably more comfortable.
It is pricey, but well worth it since it clearly works.
She eats it right up with her grain so palatability is good. I would recommend this product.

More than expected
I bought this product a little over a month ago and I am so glad I did.
My horse has navicular syndrome and after corrected shoeing she was doing good, not limping.
Then I started feeding this supliment and wow what a difference it has made. She is now running and playing with the other horses.
A special thanks to Jamie at smart Pak, she helped me choose the right supplement.

This stuff is a MIRACLE!!
I started Bailey on SmartSox a month and a half ago. Bailey has low heels and even with the best vet and farrier care, she was still ouchy under saddle and would not participate in pasture shenanigans. A week after she began the SmartSox I noticed her feeling better. She was trotting after the food wagon!!! Under sdaddle she was and has stayed perfectly sound :) Even after throwing a shoe and waiting a day for it to be replaced she hasnt taken an off step! Shes not anxious under saddle, anticipating pain like she use to. Shes also back to acting like a horse in the pasture with her buddies. I have my dream horse back!!

be careful of tumeric
I had high hopes for this product when I bought it - but it appears my horse is sensitive to Tumeric - it gave her diarrhea and excessive protozoa.. It took awhile for me to figure out that it was the Tumeric - so if you have a sensitive horse be careful. I wish they would remove the Tumeric. otherwise I am sure it is great for most horses. I ended up having to buy very expensive drugs to "correct" her gut cultures.

It worked for my gelding!!
I own an upper level Hanoverian gelding that has been out of work for over a year. He went from showing PSG to lame in a day, and we were not sure of why. It was concluded to be an abscess that traveled into the foot, rather than out, and I spent over 6 months rehabbing. We only had about a month or so in full work before he went lame again. Same foot, but didn't seem to be an abscess. We retired him, and he was on pasture for about 3 months. Recently, my farrier decided we should at least try to treat for navicular. I started my gelding on this supplement about two weeks after his first corrective shoeing. Before starting the supplement, he was much sounder with the wedge pads and magic cushion, but still short strided and hesitant. Since he's started this supplement, he is 100%. He will get maintenance shoeing and this supplement for the rest of his life, and we plan to start back to full work in August.

I'm getting my horse back!!
I have an 18 year old AQHA mare that has spent most of her life lame. She has been used as a broodmare, but passed on her poor feet. I cannot part with her she is part of the Family. So this year I decided to give her another go with smart sox and hoof supplements. When turned out to pasture in the mornings, she has been coming out of her stall Running smoothly not choppy and Lame. Also she is a very picky eater in the past she has left those expensive supplements in her pan. I just ordered my second month supply. I Hope to start ridding her again. Well worth the money to turn my pasture pet back into a pleasure horse.

This seems to help keep my very sensitive quarter horse comfortable! He can eat all his other supplements plain, but needs this one mixed with grain but still tries to switch with his brother for his grain!

WOW! I was ready to give up!
My favorite trail partner Zip, hadn't been sound in over a year. He was diagnosed with navicular and it seemed the decision to put him down was looming in the near future. I was devastated to see him in pain, struggling to walk across the pasture....then I found the right farrier and SmartSox. I could see a difference after his first set of shoes, but he was still just pasture sound. I started researching supplements and ran across Smart Sox. The results have shocked me. I could see an improvement in two weeks! The photo below is from last weekend. I finally have my horse back!

Exactly what I needed
I chose to add this supplement to my horse's smartpak after reading some reviews talking about the positive results in stocked up legs. A combination of old suspensory injuries and age means my horse would stock up whenever he was stalled for a night, or any length of time. I was having to keep him wrapped whenever he was stalled to prevent this from happening, which was time consuming and irritated the skin on his legs. He's been on this supplement for a few months now and the results are amazing. His legs are tighter than they've ever been and I no longer have to wrap him overnight! I also like the pain relieving elements of this supplement, as I've been able to cut back on how much I liniment his legs during the week. I will definitely be keeping him on this supplement, as while it's pricey, I do think it's worth it.

Hope for navicular syndrome!!!!
I have a 9 year old QH Bailey who was diagnosed with navicular syndrome a couple of years ago. Bouts of stiffness and off and on lameness made my heart sink because she's such a sweet horse and to see her in pain was often times unbearable. This past December I thought I might have to put her down, but my sister had heard from a random friend that SmartSox had helped her horse. Not wanting to give up and having researched the ingredients, I decided to try SmartSox in combination with a drier environment, No Thrush (just in case) and Bute (1scoop). Bailey showed significant improvement in the first couple of weeks and, after almost 2 months, is wanting to trot and even get up to a lope in her lessons! I am willing to continue the use of SmartSox as I believe this has truly made a beneficial and remarkable difference for her and we've reduced the amount of Bute to 1/2 a scoop...hoping to reduce it completely but still monitoring. Thank you, SmartSox for being such a big help in Bailey's life! We love her so much!

I got this to see if it could help my 20-year-old Icey recover his soundness after a bout of canker in all four hooves. Well. He is sounder than ever; Mr Fussy-foot suddenly doesn't mind walking over gravel trails.
I'll be interested to see what the long-term effects are (like, will it affect his tendency to get canker in at least one foot almost every fall?) but I'm amazed at what it's done for him already. He's staying on this one.

Incredible.
I've had my navicular mare on SmartSox for about a week now and the amount she's changed is absolutely staggering. My APHA's movement has gone from short and choppy to big and beautiful in a matter of days. She's no longer stiff in her stall and is willing and ready to work for me without being in pain! I can't thank SmartPak enough. You guys have a lifetime shopper.

really good, but expensive
I think this supplement has probably helped my horse a lot. She was mildly lame for a couple of months, and when I finally called the vet out, she was diagnosed with sole soreness from thin soles. I put her on this supplement in addition to a biotin based supplement in order to get her feet growing as fast as possible. Within 4 weeks of rest and the addition of wearing padded boots 24/7 she is sound again. I would really like to keep her on this supplement long term, but it is too expensive. I hope I can still get the effects of it if I lower the serving size to try to make it stretch farther.

Nuvicular case and use of smart sox
My horse was diagnosed with Navicual sydrome about 2 years ago. I've been working with a good barefoot specialist to get him rebalanced and his foot wided for a year (which he has always had sensitive feet). At the beginning of the summer I really thought there was going to be no hope. He was almost non-weight bearling on his front left foot. I decided I wasn't going to give up but I also could not afford the expensive medications that the vet had offered. I started him on smart sox about mid to late summer. I gave him a few pain killers to get him exercising again. When I first started him he could only walk a 1/4 with me on his back and boots on his feet. Today I use no pain killers and we can walk 2 miles easily and we can jog for 5 minutes. Yesterday he even loped on his on will. With the comibination of good barefoot trimmer, 1x week excerise and smart sox, my best friend is ridable again and will hopefully be able to live several more years. There's not enought words to say how thankful I am for this product and the support of my farrier.

Not just for feet
This is maybe not your typical review for this product. But recently I had a horse that found and stepped on a nail causing a nasty infection in the tendon. Used Smart Sox with antibiotics for treatment and am pleased to say what once was a dismal prognosis has become a great success story. My vet was a little apprehensive but I now have a sound and happy horse.

i have tried several other products and different shoes on my TB his front feet were always sore. I thought well why not try this product and I was amazed within 2 weeks i was riding him with very little soreness in his feet. Im almost done with the product and ive been able to ride him everyday with no issues...thanks!

sole improvement
My Fjords have thin soles. I contacted SmartPak to inquire if they had a product to recommend. They said SmartSox. I started them on it & after 6 weeks my farrier noted an improvement. They are shoeless but wear boots on the trail. The combination of SmartSox & boots for trail riding has solved the problem of sore feet while riding trail.

So Far So Good
I tried this supplement when my horse went to 24 hour turnout and the expanding and contracting of the day to night moisture changes was wrecking his hooves. My horse has only been on this for a month so I can't really say for sure what the long term benefits will be, but the hoof wall seems to be growing in stronger. He was never unsound or sore but I feel like he is more comfortable on his feet as well. I think this is a great product and I'm confident it will do as claimed long term. I'm not sure if I will keep him on it long term, as I need to bump him up from the SmartCombo to the SmartCombo Ultra for the additional joint protection and can't afford both. I'm hoping the SmartHoof Ultra will do the trick for his hooves there. I wish SmartPak would come out with more combo supplements as the cost savings can't be beat.

the BEST!
Aside from the great improvements that SmartSox has made in my horses' feet, it also seems to aid in the prevention or speedy resolution of abscesses. I have two older horses (one Cushinoid) who were getting abscesses with distressing frequency. Since adding SmartSox, that frequency has decreased significantly. Keeping my horses healthy and comfortable is important to me and SmartSox helps.

My thin-soled (barefoot) OTTB has been on this supplement for a few months now, and it has made a noticeable difference in the way he moves. He's much less tender, and is actually beginning to land in his heel instead of shuffling along. Best investment I've made. Doesn't mind the taste, although, he is not picky.

Say Goodbye to Sore Feet
As an eventer, I do a lot of gallop sets, conditioning sets, and this is done on varied terrain. My horse had sensitive feet, we even thought about putting pads on this season, but I opted to try SmartSox, and I am so glad I did, not only is it cheaper then pads, but it also increases the ever so important blood circulation to the foot, which helps my horses foot growth. Not only that, but it also helps my horses tendons and ligaments general health due to the increased blood flow to and from the foot. Win-Win!! I have all my horses on the product now, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I highly recommend this product, and with the happiness gurantee, it's fool-proof to try.

Great for thin soles plus sore feet
I bought this product for a horse with sore feet and after having him on this product for 30 days I saw an amazing improvement in his soles. They were always thin, soft, and peeled off but now they look better than I have ever seen on any horse I have ever owned. I have had horses for over 40 years. I just put my other horse on this product just because I live in Florida with wet to dry conditions that are hard on hooves.

GREAT for hooves
This is something that I plan to never be without in my barn. What a difference it's made in my horses' feet! Even good hoof gets better, and it really makes a difference to poor quality hooves. I'm particularly happy with the support it offers my old Cushings horse (a picky eater who thinks it is a yummy addition to his dinners).

Highly recommend
This product was recommended for a horse that did not grow a lot of foot....made a lot of difference in grow rate plus he seemed less sensitive to being shod. I would recommend this product highly.
