Works well!
My horse had one small Colic that never really amounted to anything. I currently was away at college and i wanted to find something that helped prevent the possibility of colic while I wasn’t home. This has seemed to do the trick. It’s been 3 years and she hasn’t had any problems. She is a happy heathy horse.

It really works!
My mare used to have chronic diarrhea, and my vet put her on a prescription for a few weeks but after she finished it, the diarrhea came back. Luckily, I was already planning to start her on supplements and found smartgut. I wasn’t sure if it would help her problem, but it was a little cheaper than the smartdigest, so I thought I’d try it. She’s been on it for about 2 years now and I’m so so happy I tried it. She now only gets seasonal diarrhea. It makes me feel so much better when she has to go on long trailer rides (7 hours) because I know she’s protected against potentially getting ulcers or colicing from stress.

I like the idea of this product
I like the idea of this product. My horse seems to be fine with preventive dose ulcer guard combine with SmartGut, but if we stop giving him ulcer guard, even he's on the supplements, things don't look so well. He's been on the supplements for more than a year.

This product works!
My horse is so much more content and is less irritable because of this supplement. He's a picky eater and doesn't bat an eyelash with this product.

Great Supplement! Did wonders for my mare
Started this supplement in the spring on my little dragon, erm I mean mare. The prior year I had used U-Gard which was fine but I wanted just a little something more so gave this a try. It has done wonders for her gut and belly issues. She is prone to ulcers and other gastric issues since she is so hot headed and nervous and on this we didn't have a single belly issue this year AT ALL!

Life Saving!
My 25 year old quarter horse colic’d twice in a matter of two weeks. My vet told me to try Smart Gut. Within a couple of days, he was alert, he poops more completely, his coat looks better and looks like he has gained a little weight. I truly think Smart Gut saved his life....

Easy to use. Good results.
I bought this a little over a month ago to help my horse. She seemed to possibly be a candidate that could benefit from this product. We’ve seen a slight decrease in attitude and cinchiness.

Work great!
I started using this approx 2 months ago because of ulcers. My horse eats it in his food with no problem. He seems to be much better with his ulcer problem. Eating very good now. My horse is at our trainers and seems happy, comfortable and willing do to anything the trainer asks without a fight.

It’s working!
My TWH that I got from a kill pen has colicked twice in a month after I got him. So I started him on this and made some other feed changes, and so far he’s not colicked again. Plan to keep him on this forever if necessary. He eats it no problem.

Seemed Good?
I bought this 2 months ago, hoping to see an improvement in my quarter pony's attitude. He had been on UlcerGuard and this seemed like an improvement due to all the additives. He is not a picky eater so I didn't think there would be an issue switching him over. Not only would he not eat it, he didn't want to eat his regular grain either. It wasn't until I added the UlcerGuard back in did he want to eat again. I think it was the smell as it doesn't seem as attractive. In the time he did have it, I didn't see any changes, but I assume it would take more than a month and a half to have any noticeable changes.

I think it helped my gelding. We were traveling and when I rode him, you could tell he had a gut ache. I will feed SmartGut before and during our next trip.

My Goats Look Great
I ordered this for my horse but my goats were looking poorly after kidding, I decided to offer it to them instead. They LOVED it. Ate it right out of my hand and in just a few weeks they started to look better and feel better. Strong lactation, sheen to their coats and the kids that were born smallish grew by leaps and bounds. Very happy with the results

BUY THIS!!
My horse started showing signs of discomfort back in Feb. Trying to bite me when i put her girth on and trying to buck me off when i wore spurs (completely out of the norm). My trainer suggest I try a stomach supplement as we had a rough winter. ONE WEEK of feeding her the Smart Gut Ultra and she was right back to her happy self. No more bucking or biting. I fed one month of the Smart Gut Ultra and switched to just the regular Smart Gut and she has been great! Highly Recommended

Worked like a charm
This is the 2nd month my POA mare has been on SmartGut and it worked like a charm. I can pet her belly again and she's not trying to bite me anymore! She still is slightly cinchy but not near as bad as she used to be.

Drastic change in behavior
Adding this product, along with SmartDigest Ultra to this horse's Smart Pak has made a drastic difference in his behavior. He is back to the quiet, easy going horse he was as a youngster rather than the hot, reactive and difficult horse we have been struggling with for the past year.
He is not the first horse I have seen this kind of change in upon adding this product.

Awesome Product
We had a horse that would get ulcers on the road, started feeding this product and it made a worlds difference. Haven’t had a probably since. Used it on my other barrel mare who didn’t have problems with ulcers and it helped prevent them and haven’t seen a sign since

Amazing So Far!
I'm dealing with a very ulcer prone horse and needed something to help prevent future ulcer development. I was attracted to this product because it's one of the few out there that has clinical research to back up some of the claims it makes. We are 2 weeks into using the product, as well as a diet change to a ration balancer instead of a grain based diet, and adding alfalfa to his feed. He is like a different horse. I am amazed by the changes. No more tail swishing when I touch his sides and the girthiness he exhibited has lessened in severity. I can't wait to see what a few more weeks of this product will do. He will be on it for life!

I have to say that when I bought this product, I had high hopes because of the great reviews! My horse had been dealing with ulcers for a while, so i treated the full 28 days with Ulcerguard. I then looked for a maintenance supplement and came upon SmartGut. For the first few weeks she was on it, I didn't notice anything abnormal so I took it as a good sign. About two or three months after I started her on it, she began showing signs of discomfort. I continued with the smartpak and began giving her U7 juice that had more "natural" remedies in it. Within a few days, she was significantly less crabby. I ordered 2 big bags of the SmartGut in the beginning, so I have nearly used both up and I will not be purchasing them again. I will add that when hauling, my mare was given 1/4 tube of Ulcerguard. Presently, she is getting U7,Ushield, alfalfa cubes, and the remainder of my smartgut daily. Hope this helps someone!

Excellent Results
My vet recommended Smart Gut for ulcer prevention for my 22 year old ulcer-prone quarter horse. His appetite immediately improved, and 3 months later, no sign of ulcers.

Improved stomach
I have been using this for my show horse for several months now and he has had no stomach issues. Prior to this product he has had re occuring ulcers. I decided to be pro active with stomach care versus treating ulcers.

Really Works!
My 22 year old Missouri Fox Trotter would have loose and very loose stools most likely from anxiety. His vet recommended this product, she uses too. I need something to help with his stools AND palatable for my "picky" gut; it WORKS and he likes the taste!!!

Not only did SmartGut help my horse’s gut mellow out it also was well received by a sometimes picky eater. Half way thru the bag now and I have one happy horse inside and out.

Did not work for me
My horse has been on this for nearly two years and he has been diagnosed with ulcers TWICE while getting this every day. I am not impressed and frankly I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to realize this supplement was not doing its job. I am quite disappointed that this did not live up to the quality of Smartpak's other supplements, as the others I've tried are great. The only good thing about this product in my experience is that it is palatable. But then again my horse eats everything.
