Not Palatable
I bought this for my gelding and he would not eat it. Left every pellet in his tub. He is not picky either. Could not trick him to eat it either.

Helped my aged mare
My 28 year old TB was having stiffness and and uncomfortable walking to the point I had to give up our short, easy rides. Within a month of starting this supplement, she was improved. She’s been on it for several months now and back to light riding. Sometimes I have to hold her back! And to see her once again come galloping down the pasture for her supper brings me joy. No more stiffness at all. I hope this product works as well for your senior horse. No problem at all eating it. It made me - and my mare - happy.

Not just for seniors

Supplement he will eat!
My 20yr old eventing quarter horse was starting to feel his age last year, more so in his hocks then anything. I had him on another supplement, but he wouldn't touch it. I decided to give this a shot and he loves it. Never a bite left in the bowl. He began to move better after about a month on this, and became visibly more comfortable. He is feeling young again! Love that this is keeping my old guy going!

Really works
I have a horse with a healed canon bone fracture. He has arthritis in the leg which is to be expected. He has not had a bad day since starting him on the smartflex senior. I will not stop giving him smartflex senior ever.

Didn’t work
I bought this product 2 months ago for my senior horse, previously had him on liquid glucosamine 5000; tried him on this as it had 7000 mg glucosamine. At first seemed like it was working good, however last couple weeks he has been tripping a lot, almost going down with me. Have put him back on the liquid glucosamine.

Like the results I am seeing in my 28 year old mare and my 14 year old gelding (both are OTTB). I do have to grind the pellets in a coffee grinder though, powder option would make it a 10.

Best senior supplement!
I bought this about 2 months ago because it was reccomnded to me by a friend. My 22 year old gelding had been on another joint supplement ever since I've had him, which was about 10 years ago, and it just wasn't helping him anymore, he is about a grade 2 lame in both of his hocks. I haven't been able to ride him because of this and I only ever saw him walk and maybe slow trot in the pasture (and he used to run and buck and play). I have been giving him this for just under 2 months and I can see an 100% change in him. He runs from the opposite end of the pasture to the gate, he bucks, plays and I can finally ride him again. I can even see in his face that he feels better. This is the best senior joint supplement out there!

Awesome results
I’ve been using this supplement on my horse who is 24 for about 3 months now. He has come out of the stall in the dead of winter the same as summer in turnout. He’s feeling a lot better and moves so much more fluid. I love this supplement

i have been giving this to my mare for approx 1 month due to stiffness in hind legs. well hard to believe but when we cleaned her feet this weekend she was so easy to pick them up we could not believe our eyes. Hope this continues when we start to ride hope the snow soon stops.

Super Supplement for Seniors
I have used this product for approx. 4-5 yrs for my now 24 yr old mare and she thrives on it so I decided to try it for my 18 yrs old gelding with navicular - torn deep digital flexor tendon pain along with other meds and he is moving with more ease now.

Works great
Bought for my new 3rd level dressage gelding that was diagnosed with non-articulating ringbone (sound but wanted to help) who was just on HA; figured he would do great on this since it has the HA plus all the other good stuff. He was off it for a week on accident, and there was a dramatic decrease in his movement and looseness. Will never take him off of this! Great product!!

Should list MSM on initial intro
I bought this for my mare based on the initial intro and unfortunately for me did not look at the further listing of ingredients. Luckily I caught it before I gave it to her that it contains MSM....to which she is highly allergic....very dissapointed...but will seek out different alternative....I rates all average due to disappointment with disclosing the MSM in initial description....

2 elderly horses with Arthritis.
I have been using this product for over 4 months now, for my 25 yr old mare and 24 yr old Quarter horse gelding I aquired last fall, both have arthritis in their hocks and were sore, made creaking sounds when walking. Not the case anymore, they seem to be doing great on this, I don't think I will be taking them off it. I can harly wait for the warm weather to return to really get them out and test their agility after the long cold winter.

Great Product!!
I rescued a 12 year old ranch gelding from the kill pen. He's so smart, sweet and broke as can be. His knees have bothered him since I got him. Hoping to avoid bute for the rest of his life- I've tried five different joint supplements and saw minimal to no improvement. After a week on SmartFlex Senior Pellets he is not limping at all and was actually bucking in the pasture this morning. Thank you for making a product that has made my boy so comfortable in his retirement!! I can't wait to see what the next weeks bring.

Supplemental help for sore horse
I bought these for a 16 y/o quarter horse paint I acquired who is having trouble moving. Just putting my new mare on this to alleviate some of the guess work out of what her ailments may be caused by....So far, so good. I will keep her on this indefinitely as I believe the supplements are helping to aid her comfort, care, and stability.

so far so good!
Our horse hurt her hock and was acting even more mareish. We have been using this supplement for a few weeks now and she seems to be feeling better. Hoping it only improves. Our horse is 11 and not a senior, but Smartpak took time and really worked with us to figure out what might work best. Smart Pak has the best customer service!
