Horse won't eat pellets
I bought both the smart tendon and smartflex Rehab and he won't touch his grain. He doesn't like the taste. Product reviews said that they were tast tested. Well. He wouldn't eat it.

Nearly 31 year old horse gallops on trails
Tried pelleted higher loading product and I've seen a difference in how he cleans up these pellets instead of the granular product and he is feeling frisky.

Horse doesn’t like taste
I bought this a month ago for our 18 yr old TB who has a stifle injury. Switched from Smartflex Senior in hopes this would give him more comfort. Unfortunately he doesn’t like it. He works around it in his grain and it takes all day to get him to finish it. I’ve decided to just switch back to the Smartflex Senior.

Horse Won’t Eat It
I’m very glad I decided to buy this in the bag before adding it to SmartPaks. It has a strong smell and my somewhat picky mare won’t eat it. At first she nibbled on this if I put it with the rest of her grain, but now she won’t touch it. Super bummer since it’s expensive and I was hoping to use it to support her through rehab.

Amazing Results
I purchased Rehab to aid the recovery of a front leg check ligament on my 17-year-old show mare. She was on R & R for 60 days. After five months on Rehab she is more comfortable than she has been in years. Her stride is longer and she carries her head and neck level. Raised poles are easy for her. Her body is so aligned that her lope and lead changes are slower and better quality. She no longer compensates for whatever aches and pains she had. I plan to use Rehab Pellets for some time to come. Great results!

Picky horse didnt like small but...
I started my boy on this 3 weeks ago. He hated it because of the smell. I tried different things which didnt work. Then I got a bag of peppermint treats and put two handfuls in the bag.After a couple of days he started to eat it mixed in his feed. I would say he is a very greedy horse and this may not work for others. It's worth giving it a try. I have noticed the swelling is going down after 4 months so I think the supplement is helping.

I have my horse back!
One of my jumpers had a career-ending field injury, and despite the fracture having healed, wasn't his bubbly and playful self after recovering. About two weeks after starting him on this supplement, he is romping in the field, moving comfortably, and greeting us all with a smile again! Thank you, SmartPak!

Helped with hock rehab!
My horse had a hock injury that included all soft tissue around the joint, verified by x-ray. For about 5 months she would almost recover and then re-injure the area. As part of our recovery efforts after she became lame on the same leg again, I put her on this supplement for about 6 months and it made a tremendous difference. Her leg healed beautifully and she's been sound on it since with a different joint supplement for maintenance. My once sedate/lazy horse now loves to kick up her heels and sprint around the ring when I turn her out!

Wonderful supplement that truly helps!!
My mare has been on this for about a year now. and OMGOODNESS has it helped her! not only has she not had to see the vet for any tendon issues since starting on it, but she is so much happier. Her movement is smoother and she has a new spunk when my son rides her. This stuff is a miracle in a plastic strip that truly helps my mare everyday! we will never go without!

Working great!
After hours and hours of exhaustive review and comparisons of ingredients, I have combined custom doses of this product with two others: Smartflex Ultimate and SmartAntioxident and been using this combo for over 2 years. I just had my 12 y/o performance hunter evaluated by the vet for a routine update. Passed with FLYING colors. I try to be proactive, preventive and supportive in my horse's care. I am a big believer in science and feel like a high performance athlete deserves to have their body replenished and supported properly.

Helped my horse with a severe DDFT injury!
I purchased this supplement once my horse was diagnosed via MRI with a split and multiple lesions in his DDFT. I started this supplement hoping this would help him be more comfortable during his recovery. I was skeptical but figured it was worth a shot. My horse has improved well and faster then anyone anticipated. Six months post tear he is significantly more comfortable and seems to be making improvement. It is important to note, this supplement was used in combination with therapies recommended by the vet (IRAP, Shockwave, etc). This supplement didn't magically "cure" my horse but it in combination with our rehab program has been terrific!

Great Product!
After doing much research on the different products that SmartPak offers, this best suited what I needed. After a week there was progress and now on into several bags, this product has done excatly what it states. Highly recommend this product.

Awesome product
My mare is recovering from a torn tendon. She has been on bute for months to manage her pain and swelling. After two weeks on this product, she has had noticeable improvement. The swelling is reduced and she barely limps anymore. I just wish I had started her on this months ago when the injury first happened. I’m very happy with her progress and will be keeping her on this supplement. The pellets do have a strong odor, but my mare isn’t a picky eater and gobbles them right up.

Great supplement!
I ordered this for my 31 year old quarter horse after bowing his tendon in a turnout accident, and am so glad that I did! I will admit to not having tremendously high expectations and was very skeptical as to its palatability (he is the PICKIEST of picky eaters), but to say I'm tremendously surprised would be an understatement. In addition to cold therapy and bandaging, with the addition of this supplement, my beloved senior is back to trotting around the paddock and even throws in a few bucks at night if his humans are late for dinner! Thank you SmartPak for a great supplement and for helping my old man regain his comfort and mobility!

I know tis works but....
You need to make this stuff smell better. My horse eats it but he smells it quite intently before he does...it smells very weird and not very appetizing like his tribute grains. Do this and I will give this product 5 stars!

Major improvements after starting this supplement
Our new horse has been on this supplement for almost 2 months. He is 15 and had an old tendon injury from years of jumping. Our vet has noticed a big improvement in the way his back leg feels over the past few months. In addition to the supplement, he also gets iced with ice boots after every ride and has had 1 shockwave treatment. I cannot say for sure that the supplements are the main reason that he is improving since we are doing a few things, but I'm sure they are contributing to his improvement. We are extremely happy with his progress!!

Dramatic change
Fostering an injured horse. She was kicked by another while out in pasture. Extreme soft tissue injury making her "3 legged" lame. We put her on Rehab pellets as soon as we took possession of her and within 3 weeks she was walking without a limp.

My gelding has been on this one month. I selected it because he has inflammatory issues and needs extra support. I'll spare you the long list of things I need this to help me manage. I finally found someone with the knowledge to correct his feet issus so he is lame still due to foot pain but is moving much more freely. He has always been an extremely stiff horse so this is doing him well and I'll keep him on it and add extra support if needed.

If you have a horse with tendon issues this is the stuff! Beau, My 12yr Mustang injured his hock and stifle area back in march. Wet weather incident not sure what happened. After a few months of bute, wrapping and stall rest it was on again off again improvement. So I started him on rehab pellets and within a week noticed a big difference in movement with pasture turnout. It's been a month and he just keeps improving!! Another smart Pak product that will remain in my barn

Picky Eaters Beware!!!
I bought this product about a month ago, my horse has a huge tear in his check ligament with a 6 month rehab schedule. I chose this supplement because it’s in a pelleted form and my horse often refuses powders but currently eats 2 other pelleted supplements just fine. HE WILL NOT EAT THIS ONE. I tried everything! If he even smells one pellet he’ll refuse the rest of his grain. I’m currently grinding up the dose and syringing it into his mouth with applesauce... which he also fights... and this is a horse who happily eats dewormer paste! Sadly I cannot comment on efficacy as our first check up is still a few weeks away. If your horse is picky definitely don’t buy the 10 lb bag like I did until you test it with your horse haha!

My horse sustained suspensory injuries to both front legs, was on a minimal 6 month layup, and we were uncertain he would be able to compete at the same level once recovered. I researched supplements to see what was available to help during his recovery and selected SmartFlex Rehab. At the 3 month ultrasound, the lesions were almost 100% healed and my veterinarian was thrilled. At 6 months we were able to start a more active rehab approach with light walking and trotting. A year later, we are back in the show ring and he is performing at the same level prior to his injury with no issues! I would highly recommend this product to anyone working through a soft tissue injury!

Seems to be working!!
My gelding has had stiffness and some head bobbing at the trot, and after two vet visits, we put him on the Rehab Pellets & a good 3 months rest. Today, he's getting around with no head bobs, great attitude toward work, and I am so relieved. I know horses are unpredictable, and leg problems can crop up in an instant -- but I'm going to keep him on maintenance with this program. It's so nice to see him striding out again and happy to do so. :)

Worked great on bowed tendon
My mare bowed her tendon and I immediately started her in this supplement. Three months later she is back in full action. A much faster recovery than I imagined! Great supplement!
