It Works!

Love the Colicare feature!
I actually have all three of my mares on this product even though only one is young enough for the Colicare coverage. The fact that it helps hindgut health was the main selling point for me, since our rich spring clover and grass is way too tempting to all the horses. So far so good!

Worth it to me!
I got my first horse a short time ago, when my Uncle passed away in upstate NY and he left me one of his horses. To say that this horse is important to me is an understatement. I had to have my horse transported over 700 miles, from one climate to another: different barn, different weather, different hay, different everything. I read that he would be at a higher risk of colic because of all these factors, so I got him on SmartDigest Ultra within a day of reaching the new barn. He did come down with a respiratory illness two days after arriving, but it was from a virus, and that passed. He has had no problems, however, with colic and has eaten well all along. I am very grateful.

Excellent product - Powder form
Our 15 year old mare had 2 "colicky" episodes in the Fall. After consulting with our trainer we decided to put her on Smart Digest Ultra pellets for 2 months. Along with some other changes her digestive issues seem to have gone away. When we talked with our trainer again she suggested just keeping her on the Ultra Digest for the rest of her life. While the product is not inexpensive it is far less than an emergency visit from the vet for a colic episode. We opted to try the powder due to its lower cost. She accepts it just as well as the pellets. And if she doesn't clean out her bucket thoroughly we just let our gelding lick it clean - he's like Mikey and will eat anything.

Great Prevention
Great product for the prevention of colic and you simply can't beat the Colic Care insurance that goes with it. My 8 year old Quarter Horse has been on it for several years without any problems. The powder is not a problem for him either. While my guy did suffer from two bouts of ulcers while on it, it was a direct result of environmental influences and not a failure of the product.

Great stuff!
I bought SmartDigest Ultra about 2 months ago after trying several other products and this is the 1st thing that really helped my 5 year old horse Cody. Cody had been having normal horse poos, but would get runs occasionally down the back of his legs. I tried a bio sponge and probiotics that seemed to clear him up only temporarily. After reading about SmartDigest I decided to give it a try and could not be happier!

Great Product
I have been feeding my mare, Kat, Smart digest Ultra for almost a month. What a change! Good Product
I have put 2 of my horses on this supplement, especially since it qualifies for Smartpaks Colicare program.
One of my horses would get periodic loose stool for no apparent reason. Since starting the SmartDigest Ultra he has not had any loose stool. He is a picky eater and it took some convincing to get him to eat it (hence the 4 stars) but he is finally eating it.
My other guy eats it up pretty good. I think my one guy would be less picky if it was a pellet as it is alot of powder/granuals.

Smart Digest seems to be working!
I've been using this over a month now and no signs of colic at all. My 2 mares were having very frequent bouts of colic. So far so good and they seem to even look forward to their daily dose of it. Smartdigest is the bomb
I've had Cricket for 10 months and she always has had runny farts. Solid poop, but runny farts. Down her hind legs and it became necessary to wash her butt everyday. I had her on different smartpak supplements, so I though just for the heck of it, I'd call them and tell them my story. The person I talked to was WONDERFUL and after about 1/2 hour, she had made the decision to try smartdigest bcause of a possible hindgut issue. She said, "Now give it a month and let us know". Well after 28 days, I didn't have to clean her everyday like before. It was working and now she's normal. NO more butt cleaning everyday. If I have to clean her up at all, I use baby wipes, and that's all it takes. I am so happy with these results and I can tell Cricket is much happier also. She's frisky so I know she's feeing better. Thank you smartpak customer service. You and smartdigest are awesome.

Love this supplement for my mare
I've had my mare on this for a little over a month now and I love it. Her stomach was constantly grumbling extremely loud after she would eat. After she was on the smart digest ultra for about a week I noticed it had stopped happening.
