Good gone Bad
I bought this a month or so ago. At first, I started to see improvement in my horse, but after 3 weeks, my horse refused to eat it anymore no matter what I did.

Simple fix
My vet recommended SmartDigest for my older Arab gelding (31) who had colicked recently. He is doing well now. Also my mare was having trouble adjusting to grass had cow poops. Now she's well too. Great for the hard keeper and the easy keeper both.

Works Great!
I have a 22 year old pony that developed diarrhea in early March 4 years ago. Since then, he had had bouts in September and March with the change in seasons. It got pretty severe, with him losing weight and becoming depressed before it resolved. The vet could not find a cause and we were treating symptomatically. We tried several different supplements and feeds and nothing worked. I put him on Smart Digest last fall and this is the first time in 4 years that he has made it through March without diarrhea! He is doing great! He will be on this supplement for life!

Helped my mare out!
Upon purchasing my mare, I noticed she has a tendency to produce loose stool, especially while being worked. I had her on ProBios which helped a lot, but she still had loose stool on occasion. I looked into this product and found it's more comprehensive than the previous product, and tried it out. I've noticed a huge improvement in her stool and while she will still occasionally still have a loose movement, it's much less frequent than before.

Quality inexpensive digestive maintenance!
My horse is prone to runny stool, and our hay changes frequently. Switched to this from probios — I can’t see any difference, and it’s cheaper than probios in smartpaks. If she’s off it for a few days, she’s noticeably less comfortable and her stool gets runny, so it must be doing something beneficial.

Works but wish it was a pellet
It looks like a great supplement, but the pony refuses to eat powders anymore and she isn’t eating this at all. I wish it was a pellet which she would eat. I’ll try again and mix with apple sauce

Mixed Feelings
I want to love this because it helped my mare so much with her gas, bloating, and loose stool. However, She hated the taste and would not eat this unless I wet her food. It wouldnt normally be an issue but I board and the barn feeds the supplements. If this was in pellet form or I was feeding my own supplements I would purchase it again.

Good supplement for digestive health
My vet recommended adding this supplement to my horse's diet to help keep his digestive tract happy and healthy. It smells good and is very palatable. I also like the small serving size and only needing to feed once a day, makes it really easy! Would have given 5 stars except I received a broken container with a lid that does not shut all the way. Nothing else in my order was damaged and the shipping box was in great shape upon arrival, so it doesn't seem like it was damaged in transit. A little frustrating, but overall I'm glad to have my horse on a good supplement that is vet recommended.

Helped with mushy manure
My horse was having soft stools and I could only attribute them to a change in forage due to the incredibly wet spring and summer. The stools improved significantly after adding this supplement, though I cannot attribute 100% to the SmartDigest vs just digestive adjustment, I really do think the SmartDigest helped.

Palatable, peace of mind
I tried this with a coupon and figured it'd support my mini and donkey as we transition into summer. I also got this because their hay changes often since I buy just a few bales at a time from my local co-op. This supplement powder smells like maple syrup and they don't mind eating it at all, and will even lick their buckets. With a coupon it was very affordable. I do not plan to give it daily year-round though.

Helped my four year old horse!
I have had my four year old draft cross gelding on it for a few months now. He has chronic diarrhea. I have tried so many different digestive supplements with no help. This is the first one that I have seen results. He seems to feel good, his gut is happy and his manure is more solid than it has ever been. He still gets his nervous runs but for the most part he seems to be doing great on it.

Seems to work, but......
I have one of my mares on this because she’s prone to spasmodic gas colic and it seems to work fine, however, my mare hates the powder/granule form. I really wish it came in a pellet without having to pay more.. I just add a little applesauce to her supplement/feed(she doesn’t get much; easy keeper) mixture and she eats it with no issues....but otherwise she won’t, unfortunately. I think it smells like molasses, smells good to me.

Really seems to work!
I got my barrel horse started on this about a month ago. He’s a very easy going go guy but hasn’t had the best care. Came from Texas now lives in Missouri with me. He started to have alley way/ gate issues got him started on this after trying many other supplements (he’s a picky eater) it has worked wonders! He is such a happier horse at a jackpot and at home. Definitely recommend, I’m super picky about ulcer supplements I really push for something that gets the hind gut this product has been wonderful!

It's to soon to tell if it is helping any.
It's only been a month and a half, and I have seen no benefits from Smart Digest. I'm going to give it another month and see if there are any improvements.

Great for horses on antibiotics
I have a horse that had a terrible vaccine reaction. His neck blew up and then began to abscess. The vet put him on 4 different rounds of antibiotics with each round being something stronger. By the second round my gelding had really backed off on his feed and was starting to loose weight. The vet recommended I start my horse on a probiotic. I chose Smart Digest after reading that it was recommended for horses on antibiotics. It took a few days, but after starting Smart Digest he began eating more consistently and more at each meal. By the 4th, and final round of antibiotics, he was not missing a meal and cleaning everything up. I fully expected my gelding to develop diarrhea with all the antibiotics, but he never did. I think had I not put him on Smart Digest he would have.
