Helped So Much
My horse has Heaves and living in the south his summers are horrible. The SmartBreathe Ultra helped so much this year. I could tell after feeding his breathing improved. He still has heaves but I think that this product has helped him tolerate the heat and humidity a lot better than last year. Oh also he is a very picky eater and he had no problems with the pellets.

SmartBreathe has been a life saver for my American Saddlebred. Smartbreathe has enabled us to take him off of prescription meds to control his allergy coughing. Even on the worst humid summer days, his breathing is remarkable compared to before using this product. Just amazing how within 2 months the breathing issues calmed down.

My horse hates the taste
He won't touch any of his feed if this is mixed in. He would rather eat hay rather than try to work around this supplement. I am going to switch back to the regular Smart Breathe and see if that works. Meanwhile, I have more than a month's worth of supplements my horse won't eat.

no difference noted
I have been using this now on my mare now for 5 months. to be honest...I have seen no difference. It is expensive, so i figured i would give it at least several months to make my decision. my mare is recovering from tie back surgery and tends to get a little bit of seasonal inflamation per my vet. so we decided to give this a try.
for the $250 i spent over 5 months i wish i would have went on the perscription ani-hisamine/ resp health through my vet.
my mare ate it fine, she is not a picky eater AT ALL.

My horse won’t eat it
I can’t say how helpful this is as my horse won’t eat it. She actively avoids it in her grain. I tried for 2 months but she’s still refusing it. Switching back to the normal smartbreathe as she seems to eat that okay.

Just didn’t work for her
My mare gets seasonal allergies. In the summer and sometimes spring she will get a cough my vet did give me a prescripted anti histamine powder that does help but sometimes they are out of that and have to wait till they get more in or sometimes she is fussy about eating that stuff so isn’t a fan of powders no matter what you mix it with in her grain, so I tried looking for other things for when I don’t have anything and came across this and had to try it! She is a very picky eater and she ate this with no problems I had her on it for two months with her cough and I noticed she slightly was maybe coughing a little less but still had that horrible allergy cough I ended up taking her off this because it is pricey and just getting her back on her prescription anti histamine and got her eating that and her cough seems a lot better. Maybe for the early spring I could try seeing if this would work for her I will update than but for starting in mid summer when her allergy was at it’s worse it didn’t work unfortunately

Great item
I started out with Smart Breathe & that seemed okay. Was relieved my mare would eat it because we gave her an Rx powder in her feed to treat her heaves and she wouldn'dt eat it without molasses and then just barely. I ordered again and got Smart Breath ULTRA and I think that's even better. No couging in last few weeks at all. Seems to be doing great!

Help my old man
I waited to do my review until I had used for two months. During the winter months when the grass is not green, my 34 yr old appaloosa would develop a runny nose and the cough that he has year round gets worse. Since using this product, he has very little nasal discharge and I just realized this morning, I hardly ever hear him cough. If I dont mix well into his feed (soaked beet pulp, grain and alfalfa cubes) he will not eat it but mixed in we have no problems.

Will Not Eat!
I have two quarter horses that have never turned their noses up to any feed or supplement, until I tried this. Neither of them would eat their grain or beet pulp with this mixed in. It has a very strong smell and large serving size. What a bummer.

Really helps!
One of the geldings I care for has always had a pretty bad cough, he had pneumonia when he was a yearling and has never gotten rid it. Ontop of this, he has bad allergies so the cough worsens in the spring. The owner has tried multiple supplements but nothing has helped him ever. I did some research for him and suggested that he added this to his horse's SmartPak, since I've always seen great results from SmartPak's supplements with my own horses. He's been on this for about 4 months and it has done wonders for him. The horse still coughs a little bit if he rides in the dusty arena, but it's nowhere near as bad as it is without this supplement. It has an extremely pungent odor, so I was worried about him not eating it at first but he never leaves any of it behind.

Great Ingredients

Can’t recommend enough!
I started using Smart Breathe last summer. We used WAY less meds for heaves over the last fall/winter/spring. Recently switched to Breathe Ultra due to a big flare up late summer. Could not be happier. This supplement, plus soaking hay, and Smart Pak Spirulina, I believe has allowed us to come off of meds completely at this time.

They work great!
My broodmare has breathing and swallowing issues caused by a botched throat surgery. Any inflammation aggravates her condition. SmartBreathe Ultra Pellets have made an enormous difference in her ability to breathe well, swallow properly and be active without coughing! She has been fussy about eating other supplements but, cleans up her SmartBreathe Pellets every day. We are beyond thrilled to see her happy and comfortable! Thank you SmartPak!

Won’t eat!
Even though so many other reviews stated that their horse(s) wouldn’t eat this, I thought our horse would be different and would gobble it up! NOPE! Not only did she refuse to eat her food with this pellet mixed in, but also her pasture mates turned up there noses at their own food even though theirs didn’t contain it. So I have no idea if it works or not because our horse with breathing issues didn’t take any. Do not recommend.

Seems to be working!

Horse refuses to eat it
Started my mini who suffers from seasonal heaves on SmartBreathe about 3 months ago. During the last month I noticed my pony stopped eating it as well as she should, and honestly it didn't make as much of a difference when she was eating it. I contacted customer service and they recommended the SmartBreath Ultra. She ate it for about a week, and now she won't touch it. The only way I can get her to eat is if I mix crushed up peppermints with it (which obviously isn't healthy to do every day for a mini horse!). Unfortunately I will probably cancel my next shipment and try to find something else. I can't say if the supplement actually works or not since she won't regularly eat it.

Did the trick!

The most comprehensive respiratory support!

Will definitely use agathem n!
My horse was having seasonal allergies for the first time, I tried another product that smelled terrible and he refused to eat it. I switched to the Smart Breathe ultra and he loved it. I noticed he worked better and was no longer making the loud breathing noise while being conditioned. There was also no more cough at the beginning of a work out.
