Helps my horse
I put my horse on this because he had developed a dry cough that we weren't really able to identify the cause of. I think it reduced the frequency of his cough and his cough has gone away after being on this supplement for several months. Since I don't know the cause of his cough or if it will come back I don't know what role the supplement played but I think it helped.

Great for Seasonal Allergies!
My 19-year-old rescue was doing great, gaining weight, and settling in over the winter. Recently in about mid-March, I noticed him having a harder time while lunging, walking up hills with me on his back, and after eating hay. I called the vet and after several tests, I was told to try various supplements or I could try steroids. I wanted to make environmental changes first. I took him off the round bales, implemented a dust-free diet, and researched into many supplements. This is a great supplement for those who deal with seasonal allergies that can not afford KineticVet supplements or maybe can not feed other allergy supplements because of the ingredients. I saw SmartBreathe start to truly make a difference after only two weeks of being feed on a daily basis. I highly recommend it!

Great Product!
I do believe this product helped my boy get through a rough battle of allergies due to some dusty round bales. He has since moved to a new place where the round bales are no longer an issue, but starting him on this product definitely helped. I have since discontinued using it as he no longer needs it, but wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Great product. He gobbled it up, so it seems quite palatable as well. Thank you, Smart Pak!

Impressed with results!
I was skeptical about trying this product. I have tried several supplements, some that were very expensive with no luck. Finally after many months of trial and error with a horse still coughing occasionally from RAO I gave it a try. Fall and winter are the worst seasons for him, standing outside all day long coughing.
I wanted to wait longer than a month of us to review this product to be sure it was actually working and not a coincidence. Not even a week after starting this my horse stopped coughing. No more coughing while in the pasture, and no more coughing while riding! What a change from last fall/winter. I feel like I have my horse back! Of course, it won't work for every horse but if you are on the fence about purchasing the product for your horse, get off the fence and place your order! My horse has no issue with the taste and seems to enjoy it! I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to purchase this! I do pair this with the SmartPak Omega 3 &E per several people`s recommendation.

Horse loves the taste
I have been giving my horse with heaves this for 2 months now. I haven't seen a huge improvement, but my mare really loves the taste of it. I am going to keep trying it a few more months and see how it goes.

Seems to be helping my horse & palatable
I bought this starting 2 months ago for my horse's cough. He had a normal vet check but mild cough under saddle which the vet said could be from environmental irritants like dust. This supplement seemed to help after a few weeks of taking it, the coughing decreased and seems to have stopped.

Good product but GI Issues became a concern
I purchased Smartbreathe for a broodmare that developed a mild case of heaves. The product worked well for the respiratory issues but a few weeks into giving her the product she began to show signs of GI discomfort that I could not attribute to anything else. I recalled seeing information with my first SmartPak that the product can cause GI irritation and ulcers in horses with a history of GI issues. I called the company as I wanted to confirm the product precaution and the representative stated that she had no information regarding the product causing this issue. I explained that I received this information in my first months pack. I wish that SmartPak would place this precaution on there website with the product information as I was not able to find it anywhere. I love your products but please if at all possible disclose any precautions to your product before the purchase and shipment is made. Her symptoms did resolve with treatment and she is back to her happy self.

Works great
I have a 30 yo mare that has copd that gets really bad when the humidity gets bad. This has helped her breathing a great deal. She is able to eat better, put some weight back on and come running to the barn!

I think this product has helped my mare who had severe heaves. She had gotten so bad that she quit eating - that interfered with her ability to breath. It took 3 weeks before she ate her feed ( a handful) with the product on it and then she just left the pellets. I now put the pellets in a coffee grinder, then wet her feed and then add the powdered product. She has improved to the point of now eating her full feed and is quickly gaining her weight back. Thank you for the help.

Product is making a difference!
My colt caught a cold while at the trainer's barn and the cough has persisted even months later. I got the SmartBreathe pellets for him because of all of the other great reviews and I have not been disappointed! His coughing, while not entirely gone, has dissipated greatly!

Stopped eating it but still works reduced portion
I started my pony on this supplement earlier this summer and noticed an immediate improvement, however he did stop eating his food while on the full scoop. He is picky, so I tried reducing to 1/2 a scoop and that was fine. He also continued to have improved breathing and he has barely coughed all summer since starting the supplement.

Quick Acting!
I bought my gelding, Diez in June. Almost immediately after arriving at his new home, he began to have breathing problems such as coughing, even when he wasn't being worked. After talking with my vet, she suggested getting him on a supplement for stable cough or a supplement that would open his airways. She told me that it wasn't serious enough to stop working him or to do nebulizer treatments. After doing research on the different kinds of supplements, I decided to try out SmartPak's SmartBreathe pellets. For the first few days after Diez was on the supplement, I didn't see too much of a difference. He still had his cough and had labored breathing after light exercise. However, within two weeks I noticed a change when after loping around the arena twice, he had a fairly decent amount of sweat, but his breathing was normal. I was very happy with how easy it was to continue riding him without having to stop due to him being labored. The vet visited yesterday and she couldn't say enough good things about how well he has improved in just two months. From now on Diez will being staying on his SmartBreathe regimen. Thanks SmartPak for giving me my boy his easy breathing!

This supplement has been life changing for my little gelding. It got him off daily injections of Dex. I tried it on a whim because I hated having to inject everyday. It has really proved to be worth the money this summer. My guy is doing great on it and not having his usual difficulty breathing.
He used to just get hot standing in turn out that he’d start wheezing and having difficulty breathing. Since on this for the past year, I’ve only had to give him 2 injections of Dex (those were really hot days that he got worked up in). He has no trouble eating it in his feed and it’s easy enough to give.

Great results!

Noticed immediate improvement
I purchased this to help my pony with chronic allergy and breathing issues. His coughing/allergies are particularly bad this year, and he was coughing/making chokey sounds just eating, and struggling with his breathing and coughing sometimes constantly while being ridden. About a week after starting I could tell he was much more comfortable in his breathing, and was back to just a few coughs at the beginning of each ride. I will be keeping him on this supplement! He is a picky eater so I did step him onto it (1/2 scoop, 2/3 scoop, 1 scoop) gradually, but he had no issues.

Will never stop using this!!
I have a mare with horrible spring and summer heaves and couldn’t stand in her pasture without coughing when we have our periodic warm days this past winter. I started her on these and she’s been on them for 2 full months! She has not coughed ONCE! WTC with no coughing or even feeling like she can’t breathe! She is super happy and it makes me happy! I will keep her on this supplement for as long as they keep making it!

It works!!!
My senior mare has always suffered from heaves, especially in the winter when hay is the focus of their diet. We were guaranteed multiple bouts of the heaves, along with vet visits and weeks of injections. Soaking her hay helped but during below zero weather it’s not a good option. Then came affordable Smart Pellets to the rescue!!! We are only a few months away from grazing weather and no heaves!!!!

Great for COPD and allergies
My ten year old mare developed breathing problems and struggled for over a year not responding to steroids and several other medications. I give her this supplement along with garlic and flax and her symptoms have completely subsided. I have my old horse back and will always use this supplement.

Life Changing
My WBx has been on this for about two years now. He was diagnosed with COPD and I cannot say enough good things about this product. My horse used to have a hard time catching his breath in the warmer weather, and with SmartBreathe, it has really changed how his body handles the warmer, humid weather.
