It really works!!
My mare has been on this for a few months. When we scoped for gastric ulcers, we also checked her Vitamin E levels and she was low. I started her on this product and when we retested a month later, her levels were normal. She'll be on this product forever!

Great way to feed Vitamin E
I used a powder form of Vitamin E for my horse for years but the company went out of business. I tried another source but my horse was leaving the powder behind in his feed. I also found that many suppliers have a Vitamin E combined with Selenium- which I didn't want. Smartpak sent me a couple samples of their pelleted E and my guy gobbles it up with no problem. It has a higher level of E and there's no waste so it's actually more economical for me to feed. Very pleased with this product.

Tasty Way to Get Vitamin E
Unfortunately since my mare lives in New England where pasture is tough to come by, she doesn't get regular access to grazing. This means like many horses, she needs supplemental vitamin E to balance out her diet. However my picky princess will not touch any powdered supplements, so these tasty pellets are a lifesaver!
In addition to being palatable, I chose this product because it contains the natural form of vitamin E, which is more bioavailable to the horse. There's even research that demonstrates the product's impact on blood serum levels, which makes me feel good about giving it to my mare. Vitamin E plays a critical role in both immune and muscle health, and this product offers an easy way to make sure that my horse gets enough in her diet.
This product is a perfect choice for anyone needing to supplement vitamin E, whether due to lack of grass or an increased dietary requirement. They're a great value and easy to add to any supplement program!

I love the vitamin E supplement. This is the first time I have bought it in a bucket vs. the smart paks and a lot of the pellets were crumbled and powdery.

So important for my boy with Shivers!
I trust SP's quality and this is the most affordable E I can find that is not a power.
Horses with shivers need extra E and can't make their own unless they have regular access to fresh green grass.

EPM Positive Horse Loves These
I have a horse in my care who recently tested positive for EPM. I worked with his vet and owners and started him on medication, but through researching EPM found multiple studies that vitamin E can provide support for these horses. We started him on it, and he's found this supplement highly palatable. Between this and his medication, I've begun to see improved coordination, more energy, and the muscle atrophy in his hind end is starting to get better. Obviously, that's all most likely due to the medication, however, this supplement is an affordable way to give him extra support.

Did the trick!
My horse had a vitamin E deficiency which manifested itself in a poor coat. She is also a picky eater. This product improved her coat and she likes it. What more could you ask for?

Exactly what I was looking for
I used to supplement my senior with Elevate Vitamin E powder and was very happy with it, but due to his increasing pickiness and aversion to all powders, I was forced to look for a comparable pellet. Smart and Simple Vitamin E pellets are exactly what I was looking for. I feel this supplement is a step up from the Elevate. A solid five stars for palatability and the ease of feeding, the only reason for the four star rating instead of five is that it's a bit pricey, but well worth it. Thanks SmartPak for another great product!

Easy to feed.
My 18 year old mare was diagnosed with EPM in Feb 2020, At first we started off with a powder form from another good company, But my mare stopped eating the powder. I needed a pelleted form. We started her on SmartPaks Vitamin E & she loves it. She needs to stay on 10,000 IU & this is the best way for her to get what she needs.

Tasty and easy source of vitamin E
These easy-to-feed pellets are a high-quality source of natural vitamin E that I feel good about giving my horse. Since my horse doesn't have access to grass for grazing, her diet is low in vitamin E and so I provide her with this product. It has the natural form of vitamin E, which is better absorbed, plus she will happily eat these pellets. I love that she's getting the nutrition she needs to feel her best, and these are a great value for natural vitamin E product. Best of all, there's even scientific research backing this product!

Where’s the other half?
I received this product and was surprised by the weight of it, so I opened the container and was very disappointed to see the actual quantity in the tub; it was if someone dumped 1/2 the contents out. Needless to say, we went through this product in a blink of an eye. Will be looking for another product that fits this nutritional need.

Palatable vitamin E Pellets -
my horse has been on this about 6 weeks now per my veterinarian advice
due to her Cushings disease and muscle wasting. I can definitely say I
can tell improvement . Her energy level is up, hair coat sparkles and her
top line is filling back in. I love the pellets rather than dealing with powder
and my mare eats it right up thank you for a quality product that works!

Got my horse back to his normal self!
My horse was lethargic and lazy, all of a sudden. After having the vet test his Vitamin E and Selenium levels, they indicated his levels were low. Once I put him on this Vitamin E supplement, he is back to his normal self just a month later! Also- he's a picky eater with supplements and likes these pellets!

He wouldn't eat it
It turns out that I was overly optimistic regarding my approx. 18 yr. old Appy/Draft gelding's palate. Since it was pelleted and the dose wasn't too large in volume (15 gr,) I didn't think he would even notice it mixed in with his Sr.feed and other supplements, but he did, and refused to eat any of it. I ended up dumping that meal and making it up again w/o the Vit. E. I cut the Vit. E wells out of his Smart Pak strip and put them aside. I will try to acclimate him to it bit by bit over the Winter. We are avid trail riders and are doing too much traveling right now. I realize the importance of Vit. E in his diet, especially at his age, so I hope to get him used to consuming the full dose by Spring.
