So far so good!!! Really loving this product
We have been using this product for about a month and a half now, and I am so glad we decided to order it. Our girl (pony) is going on 15 and she seemed like she was starting to feel the effects of show jumping. Within a week of adding this to our feeding schedule, my daughter could tell a difference in how our girl feels when jumping. I can see that some of her spicy-ness is back, which tells me she is feeling better!!

Great for what I got it for
My horse had too much powder in his supplements with the big sky minerals, electrolytes and MSM . Being pelleted cuts a good chunk of the powder down.

LOVE MSM
Every single one of my horses are on MSM, I feel it is very important to our performance horses diet. For my navicular mare though I needed a higher MG dose, which is the only reason I stopped giving this brand because since I was buying another higher dose brand for her, I just switched everyone to it too so it wasn't confusing for me to keep track of. But for my other horses with minor leg issues and stiffness, this worked wonders on them. I will always keep my horses on MSM and I LOVE that SmartPak has this Smart & Simple line of supplements.. All it is, is MSM... nothing else, doesn't have 30 unnecessary ingredients. Just SIMPLE, like it says. I highly recommend.

Has helped my mare warm up faster!
I started Smartpak’s MSM on my mare two months ago and have seen a difference in her warm ups. She’s much faster to warm up now and is less stiff when I ask her to bend. Her trot has also gotten more fluid!

Older Gelding Showed Improvement
After one month on this supplement, my 20 year old quarter horse gelding is less stiff and moves easier during warm-up. He is outside 24/7, and we have had some terrible ice in the pasture this winter, so I know he is not moving much outside. I was expecting him to be stiff from that, but even only riding 2x/week, I have seen improvement since the month prior. Nothing else in his diet has changed! I would consider him a picky eater (spits out apples), but he eats this fine in his senior grain.
He was diagnosed as navicular/heel pain 5 years ago. Since then, we have tried Previcox, and he had a rare reaction to it after being on it daily for 4 months. We changed trimming (more frequent), removed all pain meds, and since then, he had a small limp now and then. BUT after being on MSM for a month - I am not sure if it's the MSM now, or what, but he has not had a lame step! Fingers crossed!

My horse loves this MSM
I was feeding MSM crystals that I got from my vet and my horse didn't like them. I had to add Applesauce to get him to eat the MSM. But then I tried these MSM crumbles and he LOVES them. Great product!

Perfect for picky eaters!
If the supplements come in a powder it’s guaranteed my mare will find a way to leave them on the bottom of her bucket, no matter how clever I think I might be. Thankful she eats these right up! Perfect for the picky princess in your barn.

Didn't Like
I wanted to try the MSM for my senior mini as she has some joint stiffness. Unfortunately after about 5 days she would no longer eat the pellets and she's usually not a fussy eater. So, I can't really say if the product worked.

Palatable results
We welcomed a run-down, arthritic mare onto our farm as a foster. I've used MSM before and have seen good to excellent results with stiffness, allergies, etc. - I see it as more of a trace mineral than a supplement. Plus it's affordable! This mare refused the powdered/granular form (she hates powdered anything), so I tried this pelleted form. It's working great! Her stiffness is less, vet approves, and most importantly - she's eating it. Not so much as a single pellet left in her grain dish now, and she's normally suspicious of anything beyond hay and water, so that's a big achievement for us.

Not tasty enough
I can't review how this works because my mare wouldn't eat it. She is a picky eater and would touch this no matter what I tried to cover it up with.

Great product!!!
I bought this to give to my senior mare to help her with slight inflammation in her fetlocks and her heaves and I have noticed a difference already. She doesn't cough anywhere as much as she use it if at all really anymore. She is a very picky eater and finishes this smartpak before she finishes her feed.

Awesome supplement
I got this supplement for my 19 year old pony who comes out stiff, he's already shown improvement in his movement and has taken much less time to work out of it than before. The pellets do crumble which isn't a huge problem but if you're paying more for the pellets because your horse will leave the powder this supplement might not work for you

Works Great!

Seems to be working
I have had my mare on this for going on 7 months. My picky mare eats them no problem. I added this to hopefully help keep her comfortable after discovering the reason her leg was still swollen 6 months after a significant kick, was due to a broken off piece of splint bone. Options were surgery or wait and see. Since she was sound I went with the wait and see route. She has been sound and doing great all show season being rode hard regularly.

Stopped her cough
My horse has had a cough off and on for several years. She's been to the vet many times and it was determined that it was caused by hay. I was getting her a steroid shot when it was bad. Determined that it was an inflammation so tried the MSM. I put her on it and in two weeks the cough is completely gone. She has now been off the MSM for two weeks and there has been no coughing. I plan to give it to her only when she needs it. I highly recommend this product if you have a coughing horse.

So happy this comes in pellets!
I was previously feeding my horse the MSM powder, but because he gets some other powder supplements, I wanted to change anything I could to pellets for palatability. I feel more confident that he's eating his supplements now and getting the support he needs.

Pellets are crumbled
The pellets are somewhat crumbled appart so picky eaters may not eat them. However my horses are fairly picky but did eat them.

Does it's job!
Due to my pony and I being involved in the world of Eventing, my boy needs joint support as a preventative measure. A horse only has so much jump, and I firmly believe that what we take out of them, we must put back. Eventing is a very demanding sport on our horses joints, and SmartPak MSM Pellets does a fabulous job in supporting my best friend and his joint health. The pellets allow me to have peace of mind, knowing he is ingesting the full dose required for the day. No powder being left at the bottom of his bucket, and no wasted feed due to a picky eater knowing it is in there. I will always ensure my buddy has his SmartPak MSM Pellets in stock.

I purchased for a specific horse but he didn't like it. No surprise, he is the pickiest eater so I am using the pellets on an older horse who likes them.
