This did not work on 3 different horses
I tried this product for several months on 3 very different horses. I saw no improvement in any of them. Two actually seemed to lose weight.

Easy and convenient

Did not make a difference :(
I have a 7 yr old OTTB that I have a hard time keeping weight on. I was hoping that Smart & Simple 99% Fat would help her. I have had her on this product for 3 months now with zero results. On the plus side, it does smell good and she ate it with no problem.

An easy solution
A friend was having trouble getting weight on his elderly stallion so I called for advice from the SmartPak team and they recommended Smart N Simple 99% fat. He has gained weight slowly since we put him on it about 6 weeks ago and is feeling good. It smells yummy and he eats it with his feed with no problems.

Not for my guy
My 10 year old TB has been on this for 5 weeks and we haven’t seen a difference so I guess this isnt the right supplement for us

Didnt make a difference
I started this over 2 months ago and it hasn't made a difference, I've only had my horse since September and I put her on this to help her out on weight mixed with her feed and some alfalfa. It didnt help. I was so impressed by the reviews maybe this would work with a younger horse but not my senior

Great taste, good results
My mare has been on this for about 5 months now and I can’t say enough good things. She has trouble keeping weight on due to slower digestion from colic surgery; she also isn’t a big eater and often picky. Than supplement has worked really well for her. I noticed a small difference within the first month and still more the second. I did up her to 3 scoops and the results have been amazing. Best part is she loves to eat it! We have tried giving her oil in the past with no luck- so grateful to have found this product.

Horse loves it, haven’t seen A huge change
Been using it a little over 2 months and the horses love it, I haven’t seen a huge difference weight wise but my old man isn’t dropping like he likes to in the winter so hopefully it’s helping!

Didn't work well, but highly palatable
I bought this for a horse that had lost some weight and I can't seem to tell that it's helped her pick up any extra weight after 3 months. She is a super picky eater and gives me no problem eating it! Smells great. But unfortunately I can't tell that it worked.

Saw results in 3 weeks!
My TB gelding has always been an easy keeper but for some reason after his tendon injury it was hard to get him to keep weight on and gain muscle. I assumed it was more so due to age, he's now 16. I saw a difference in 3 weeks! I love him on this! He does not get hot, and he eats it with no problem. I will continue to keep him on this for a while and re-evaluate in a few months.

Really works!!
I bought this a year ago for my semi-hard keeper. She gained weight in a matter of weeks and then took her off when I bought a new horse to save some money. She lost the weight and got skinny again, so started her back on it a month ago and shes back to being nice and chunky.

Very palatable
I bought this because my horse needs to gain some weight. It’s not working quite as fast as I’d hoped at the recommended dosage but it if easier to feed than oil and my horse loves it. It smells like cake!

It Was Palatable...
I stumbled across the Smart & Simple 99% Fat while looking at supplements and got excited. The price was right and I have one hard keeper OTTB so I decided to give it a try. I fed it for two months, and although it smelled like vanilla and was super palatable, I don't feel like it made any difference in my horse.

Great for winter
This is delicious (yes I tried it), no mess and it is definitely helping my OTTB keep on weight now that it's getting really cold! He's been on this for a little over a month and looks great. As soon as temps started dropping, his ribs became visible which is when I panicked and found this fat to try and we love it!! No more ribs showing. I love knowing Beau isnt dropping weight because he's trying to stay warm. More calories and a blanket when its 30s or below, should make him pretty comfy!

Not for my horse
I'm sure this supplement works great, my picky old horse does not like the taste though. I originally tired this out to see if it could be a cheaper alternative to what I was giving him to maintain his weight. He'll eat it if I mix it with water in his grain but he gives me the stink eye the whole time he's eating. I'm sure it works just not for my old picky horse.

Works great!
I added this to my thoroughbred's Smartpak a little over a month ago since he's been a little on the thin side since coming back into a regular training program. I've been trying to minimize the amount of grain he gets, so this was a perfect way to help him gain weight without getting hot. He does have a tendency to eat around this (and his other powder supplements) if I don't add water, but if I mix in water he eats it.

Cody loves it!
Got a sample from Smartpak with no hassle! My guy loves it and eats his grain up even faster then before (typically take 30 mins). I put him on this product going into winter so he continues to maintain this weight.

Horse eats around it
My normally trash can horse (he will eat anything you put in front of his mouth) didn't care for this. I was optimistic about a powdered form of fat that was a little bit more wallet friendly, but he completely eats around it. He was previously getting the liquid CocoSoya which had good results, but I hated the waste from sticking to the bucket and leaky tops/pumps.

Horse refused to eat it
My horse didn't touch his grain with this supplement in it. He needed a little extra fat in his diet, which this would have help tremendously had it been consumed.

Reliable and economic
My 18 months old filly recently went through a massive spurt of uneven growth, which left her much too skinny. Additional carbs or protein wasn't advisable due to the issue of uneven growth, so I decided to raise her fat intake using 99% Fat from SmartPak. We have only been using it for 2 months now, but I am happy with her weight gain. I love the smell of it, and she loves the taste.

Did exactly what we needed
We had an OTTB who had lost a lot of weight transitioning from racing to retirement. He was down to 900lbs. After 2 months of the supplement, he is eating better and has put on 40lbs. Still a ways to go, but it is helping this hard keeper.
