QUEST Plus delays reappearance of strongyle eggs for 84 days, QUEST Plus kills small strongyles in the encysted state with a single dose. Quest® (moxidectin 2%, praziquantel 12.5%) Equine Oral Gel is specially formulated as a palatable gel which is easily administered to horses and ponies. This very palatable dewormer is the only single dose, long-acting treatment and control of encysted small strongyle larvae, roundworms, seasonal parasites and bots, including tapeworms

For oral use in horses and ponies 6 moths of age and older. Now approved for use in breeding, lactating, and pregnant mares.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jast from Doesn't dissolve quickly and horse hates it. Horse hates this stuff and it doesn't dissolve quickly enough. He'll take other dewormers fine but after a dose of Quest Plus he becomes averse to having anything syringed into his mouth - I have to syringe feed applesauce to undo his misgivings. He also ALWAYS manages to spit some out. Doesn't matter if I raise his head slightly or try to get way back in his mouth. He spits it out. Unfortunately this dewormer is part of his rotation so we continue to use it. It does work but it's difficult to deliver.

I purchased the Quest Plus de-wormer to administer to my horses for this time of year, at the recommendation of my vet because it addresses any tapeworm issues. This is the first time I have given my horses this particular de-wormer. Both are easy to worm, and this product is a gel and was easy to get into them. One horse ate his feed right afterwards without issue, the other one who usually will eat anything in sight, objected to the taste of the wormer and wouldn't eat for a half an hour or so. After that, he was fine. I rated this product only for stars because of his objection to the taste. Other that that, both horses showed no adverse affects. The only other issue I had was difficulty removing the cap from the dispenser.
