Zinc Polysaccharide Complex Supplement
Poly Zinc™ Powder make it easy to balance your horse’s diet by focusing solely on zinc. While there are a variety of important trace minerals needed for your horse’s diet, zinc is commonly deficient in high iron diets, as iron tends to impair both zinc and copper absorption. Zinc plays important roles in the body for proper function of proteins, bone development in young horses, healthy hooves, and coat pigmentation. To maximize bioavailability and its effect, the zinc in Poly Zinc Powder is partnered with polysaccharides to help protect the key minerals until they reach the digestive site where they can be most effectively absorbed and utilized.

A must-have
I give this to all 9 of my horses every day. It, along with the Poly Copper, keeps their hooves strong and prevents thrush and rainrot.

Five stars for now :)
Good so far, I mix it with soaked alfalfa and a little beet pulp and my horse eats it right up! Not the most palatable selection (some of the horses won't eat it unless topped with some alfalfa pellets) and I haven't used it long enough for any improvements with my horse, but I think I'll see some quality results!

I've used zinc from various other companies as this product was a little more expensive. It's worth every penny more as even my pickiest eater is happily eating it mixed with their grain. VERY happy customer!

The best!
My Farrier recommended an addition of Zinc to my horses diet. I researched and then asked who he recommended...Uckele! I am thankful he did too! The product arrived before the estimated delivery date and in perfect condition. It is easy to use and has made a big difference in my horse.

MIRACLE supplement - I mean it !!!
My OTTB had been off on her R F hoof for 5 years, vets came and left, x-rays, then we checked for mineral balances, she was off on zinc and copper. I started ploy zinc and poly copper. I takes a few weeks to see the first real difference but now, 5 months in, she is 100% sound, runs like crazy again (22 3/4 years old), acts like a 6 year old, no shoes on boots for trails, she is fine!
Bottom line: if your horse has "soft soles". thin soles, abscesses, anything hoof related - start poly copper and zinc !!!
This was a miracle happeneing :-)

Hated the taste
I have to be fair here. I can't imagine any mineral tasting great in its raw form but my horses absolutely hated this even for the minuscule amount per serving. That being said, it is a great addition (balanced with copper) for hooves and a cheap way to get it in them.

Have used for 8 years in my horses' diets
I balance my horses' diets myself. Poly Zinc and Poly Copper are essential trace minerals for our local hays. Measured in grams, the amounts fed daily are quite small, so 10 lbs lasts a long time. I keep it stored tightly closed and protected from the weather in my storage room. Definitely the most cost effective way to provide my horses with optimal nutrition.
