Copper Polysaccharide Complex Supplement
Poly Copper™ Pellets make it easy to balance your horse’s diet by focusing solely on copper in a tasty pellet form. While there are a variety of important trace minerals needed for your horse’s diet, copper is commonly deficient due to it being low in some forages or from copper antagonists that deplete the body of copper, such as too much sulfate in drinking water or high iron intake. Copper plays an important role in coat and skin pigmentation, hoof health, metabolic processes, bone formation, soft tissue elasticity, and storage of other key minerals. To maximize bioavailability and its effect, the copper in Poly Copper Pellets is partnered with polysaccharides to help protect the key minerals until they reach the digestive site where they can be most effectively absorbed and utilized.

This is my first purchase from Uckele and I couldn't be happier. The Poly Copper supplement is appetizing for my horse with an alfalfa base and have no added sweeteners/flavors, which is perfect for my insulin-resistant mare. Package shipped prompted and arrived just a few days after ordering, despite the general shipping delays I expected since I ordered in December.

Both horses have no issue with eating this at all. It smells great, sometimes by the end of the bag the pellets have crumbled, but that does not change how they eat it.

Easy to feed
Feeding to pony to darken his bleached coat. Very palatable pellets and small scoop size is perfectly proportioned to compliment Poly Zinc. One scoop daily, the bag lasts a long time! Pony eats pellets without any problem and he seems to be gradually darkening again. Plan to continue feeding.

My horses hate the taste of this product
My hay balancer wants me to feed poly copper and zinc to my horses. I am supposed to give a scoop of each to each horse, but so far can only split one scoop of each between 6 horses. If I increase the amount of poly copper and zinc my horses refuse to eat their buckets at all. Help!!!

Excellent pelleted form that is easy to use and palatable for your horse
I buy the Poly Zinc and Poly Copper pellets for my horse to balance his diet due to his PSSM. What I love about this product is how palatable it is - horses eat it without a problem. Another thing is it doesn't crumble and disintegrate like another vitamin pellet (Vit E) I buy from another company. The price is great and it stores well. Easy to use since I just mix it with his usual pelleted feed.
