Instructions

For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends that horses using One AC for the first time begin with 1 teaspoon administered twice daily. To set up twice daily administration for the first month in SmartPaks, use the Custom Dose feature and choose 1 scoop (1 teaspoon) “both AM and PM”. After the first month, you may change the dosage to 2 teaspoons once daily, which is the SmartPak Maintenance Dose.

If you are already administering One AC, use the Maintenance Dose. If your horse does not fall in the weight range of 950-1100 lbs, the Custom Dose feature also allows for adjusting the administration amount. Please call us at 1-800-461-8898 if you require assistance – we are happy to help!

Feeding Directions: One AC is weight dependent. Average size horse, 950-1100 lbs, one teaspoon twice daily (AM & PM). Horses over 1100 lbs, add 1/2 teaspoon for every 100 lbs. over maximum weight.
Horses 600-900 lbs 1 1/2 teaspoons daily (3/4 AM - 3/4 PM). 300-600 lbs one teaspoonful daily. Miniature horses respond well to 1/2 teaspoonful daily.

One teaspoonful = 2.35 g (.102 oz)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Lady from Lifesaver for my mare. I have a mare who was almost completely anhydrotic. She would overheat just walking in our humid PA summers. Put her on this for a month and she started to sweat much better. Took her off, sweating stopped completely. Put her back on and she now sweats almost as much as she should. This has been a game changer for her. She will be on it from April-October every year for the rest of her lige.

Rated 1 out of 5 by No Sweat in Texas from No Discernible Difference I am loathe to write a negative review, but I've seen no difference with this product. My horse developed anhidrosis a few years ago. Now each year, the first time the temps hit 99 degrees (we live in Texas), he stops sweating completely for the whole summer until temperatures come down consistently around October. His sire's FL career also ended early due to the same condition, and both I and his sire's owner have had no luck with this supplement. Summer is pretty much the off-season for us because he overheats so easily. I am trying another supplement this year, but I'm not holding my breath. For anyone else with a horse suffering from this condition, I hope this product works for you, but you're NOT crazy if you don't see a difference. It seems to work for some, unfortunately my guy is not one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thegreatfriesiangatsby from Seems to help him with the heat in general I added One AC and redmond rock crushed salt and I am overall seeing my Friesian gelding tolerate the heat MUCH better. For the first time ever, he offered me a canter in a hot, humid 80 degree arena. It is worth noting that I also clipped him when I started using One AC. His coat wasn't exceptionally long, but long compared to the thoroughbreds around him. He was willing to canter again outside in the sun on a 75 degree day. I think this is a great addition to our heat tolerance strategy.

One ac was our last resort recommended by a friend. This product is wonderful it made the mare start sweating again. We used it during the summer & then she didn’t need it again until the next summer. We have be able to run her again & she sweats fine. Thanks one Ac for giving our mare back! I recommend this product to anyone who has a horse who don’t sweat..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Florida TB from Sweaty Again in Central Florida My TB gelding had begun to exhibit partial anhydrosis and I was desperate to find a solution for him. He would sweat in small patches and it was not enough to cool him. His performance in lessons and shows was suffering. We are in Central Florida so it becomes hot and humid in May and the long summer runs through to nearly October! My trainer agreed with trying One AC but cautioned that it does not work for every anhydrotic horse. I began feeding two teaspoons a day, one at each feeding. It took about six weeks but we now have results that I attribute to the supplement. He is sweating more and becomes less winded during our riding sessions, even our Saturday morning lessons when it's especially humid and unbearable. Thank you Miracle Powder Company and Smartpak!
