Pretty Good Stuff
I love this stuff for my Thoroughbred. When I got him from the rescue they had told me they were testing him out on a trail ride and he feel in a small canal structure. We live in Arizona so these canals typically dont have water in them. Upon his rescue from the canal, he cut up his left hind pretty bad but it healed to scar tissue. I can see after using the MSM that he is more fluid in his hind, will give me more rear movement when exercising, and he moves alot more freely. He is only on about half a scoop along with other supplements but that small amount seems to be doing it for him!

I tried this on several horses. My somewhat picky horses won't touch it and the ones who will eat it show no positive results from it. The price is reasonable I suppose but I still wouldn't recommend this because it didn't do anything for my horses that I noticed.

MSM - not joint
MSM is not supposed to be used as a primary joint product. I am merely using it as preventative and for that it is great. My horse is picky, so I feed her sweet feed. Seems to eat it just fine. Smells pretty bad though

Great Purchase
Within days of starting my horse on this MSM he went from having stiff hocks to moving like a youngster again. He is 12 years old now and has the beginnings of arthritis. I have had him on Farrier's Magic FLEX-n-MOTION for about 9 months now, and had him on another joint supplement previously. Although I love FLEX-n-MOTION, it does not contain any MSM. Because my horse was getting stiff, probably due to the cold, I decided that I would give him some MSM in addition. Overall, great addition to another joint supplement for horses still showing signs of lameness due to arthritis.

I have my horse back!
I purchased MSM for my 17 year old Arab/Paint Barrel Horse. In the past year we have been running much more than before and I noticed him seeming to get a little stiff and beginning to have some trouble catching his breath after running, even coughing sometimes afterwards. Just a week after starting MSM, we went to a competition and I could tell he was just feeling awesome! we got our fastest barrel time ever, it didn't tack 20mins to warm him up until he felt comfortable, and he had his "float" back to his trot. There was no coughing and his breathing was much deeper and regular. I am definitely keeping him on this supplement! so affordable too!

great preventative maintenance
The amount of MSM available in this supplement is phenomenal! Excellent value, and I saw an immediate reversal of some lower leg swelling immediately after starting my guy on it. I was beginning to think old age was ready to take my horse out of serious riding, but we're back on track - sound and happy!

My picky mare will eat this product unlike some other supplements I've tried to give her. She has no joint issues but tends to cough when I first start working her. My vet suggested MSM and this supplement has worked well. The cost is great.

Improved movement and work
My horse was off of msm for about 3 months and i noticed a big difference in the time he was off of it and when i put him back on it. He was stiff going to the right, but a short time after being back on it his way of going has improved drastically.

Helpful product
I like this product fine. Most of the horses I have fed it to eat it fine. My thoroughbred is a little picky sometimes and struggles to eat it all unless he is really hungry. He will eventually get it all though. I do feel like I see a difference in the way my horses feel and move since they have been getting MSM.

I have two horses on "special" joint supplements and three others who could all use something, but, until I found this MSM, I simply couldn't afford it. They all seem more energetic and one of my horses in particular no longer limps when it's cold after being on this a month. It's much cheaper to buy in a bucket than via Smartpaks, which helps me save another bit of money. I recommend this product for joint health, especially if you are on a budget!

Love IT!
Our large pony was purchased out of someone's back yard and came with a gross clicking sound when he walked....(believe it or not, vet said it was harmless), and we kept him on a maintenance dose of MSM. Not a click to be heard and going great!

will always use
Regardless what joint product I buy I always supplement with MSM. My horses are not as itchy and they just feel better. Both horses were rubbing out their tail hair so I bought tail wraps but they continued to rub so the wraps fell off. I added this MSM along with our regular joint pellets that contains small amount of MSM and the rubbing stopped. Also my mare stocked up and my gelding went limping again at the same time as the tail rubbing so I kept them on the additional MSM and wow what a difference in a short time. The gelding still has a shortened stride with his right front leg from hitting the fence but after warming up it's not as noticeable. I need to buy a big bucket because I use this stuff like crazy!

Great for that extra boost!
Whenever I feel like my older horse needs an extra boost I give him some of this for about two weeks, its a great "add-on" to your everyday supplement in times of some extra help.

Great for horses and dogs
Have been using MSM on my elderly horse and dog. It might also have somthing to do with the weather, but they both have shown noticeable differences in their activity and have even been a little frisky lately!

Only Joint Supplement I Use
I've had both my horses on and off MSM in the past three years. It was reccomended to me by a friend for my gelding. He's a now twenty year old Thoroughbred x Appy, mildly artritic. The difference when he's on and off this product amazes me. When he's off it, he shows his age some days but when he's on it, its like he's three years old again. I was using the pellets from another site for a while and I really just didn't see the same results as I did with the power. Along with my gelding, I have my mare. She has heaves and last year it was so bad it was considered to put her down, we decided to try MSM and it helped. It actually helped enough where her steriods were able to gain control. I'd tell ANYONE to use this product - Artritic or not.

a must have preventative for all horses
joint and tissue damage is caused by years of damaging inflammation, since msm prevents the inflammation it works as a great preventative treatment as well as an immediate treatment. ive noticed a great improvement in my horse's movement and work attitude, and i didnt even realize he was hurting, i feel that u cant beat the msm.

Solid choice
Can't beat the price! Used this on the old pony in my barn and noticed an immediate all-over change. He's less creaky, and he hasn't been rubbing his mane/tail out as much. I wish this came in pellet, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

Itchy Izzy Approves!
I've been using MSM alone and in combination, as a joint supplement for decades. This year however, One of my young ponies has a severe case of Summer Itch, Sweet Itch, IBH--whatever you want to call it. But come summer, the poor thing can't stop rubbing off her coat, mane and tail. She loses the hair on her shoulder and face as well. Allergy shots, feed-throughs, fly sheets/masks/leg-wraps/sprays, inside all day. The poor thing just couldn't stop itching!
I had used MSM before to help calm cases of hives, so we tried it on Izzy. It definitely helped to control the inflammation and curb the rubbing and itching. Although, it's still a combination of medicated baths, Omegas, Antioxidants and Antihistamines that do the trick for my little one!
This particular brand MSM is decent quality and a Great price. It's also a cost effective option to support joint health in my older broodmares, who don't necessarily need a complex super fancy joint supplement.

Simple Product!
When I switched my horse to a different joint supplement, the only negative was that it didn't have as much MSM as I wanted for my older TB. Simple, cost-effective answer was just adding a custom dosage of this to his Smartpak. Gives me the peace of mind that he's getting the right amount of MSM and he eats it right up with the rest of his feed.

Great Product
I purchased a one pound package of MSM in May and started my 26 year old Halflinger on it. He accepted it readily mixed in with his beet pulp. When it was time to order more I purchased the 4 pound bucket because I wanted to start my 17 year old mare on it as well. Neither of them have any problem accepting this product. The 26 year old certainly does seem to have more pep. An interesting perk seems to be that hair is growing over some very old scars. I've tried a lot of products to try and stimulate hair growth, but nothing happened. Just yesterday I discovered the hair growing in the scarred areas. I have to attribute it to the MSM because nothing else in his diet has changed.

Good Product for a Good Price
I started my 11 year old Appy Gelding, and my 6 year old Paint Mare on this product since we do a lot of traveling to shows and they seem to get a little sore and stiff. This product has made a huge difference in my horses. They aren't stiff and sore from being in the trailer for 2 hours or more and they are ready to compete as soon as they get to the show. This is an awesome product and I love the price!

Doing Just Fine
I actually bought this bucket of MSM for my dog as he is getting on in his years and it is definitly helping him. However, I purchased a mare last weekend that I had not planned on (owners were moving) and she needed something. So I have had her on the MSM for one week and I am beginning to see a difference in her gait. At least she is more comfortable and less irritable till I get the farrier out and he can do her hooves.
