    Mirra-Coat is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 100.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seemed to do a good job on my horses coat. He is quite shiny now. It is a lot of powder to feed- so if your horse is picky at all it would be easy to leave behind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shiny Palomino I love the effect that the Mirra-Coat has had on my Palomino. She used to bleach out in the sun, and now she is a nice warm golden color, with her chrome accents showing. It has also done wonders for her mane and tail! Both are much stronger and less prone to breakage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Shiner I've been using Mirra Coat now on two horses for a month and a half. Our sorrel gelding didn't look like much changed on his coat, but my brown mare (she's black according to my daughter) is super shiney. Keeping this one in her smart pack, but changing it up next month for the gelding. I had better luck last year with Omega Horse Shine. But, this one is really good value for me right now. And my mare eats her smart paks right up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I have used a variety of supplements but Mirra Coat is the best for the money. My horses shed out faster in the spring and stay glossy year round. They never refuse to eat it and it doesn't give them attitude. It's a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from She is beautiful! I have tried a few different coat supplements but keep going back to this one. My horses are beautiful. Shiny, glossy coats and wonderful skin. It works, what can I say?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought Mirracoat for my black horse after I took her off Black As Knight (due to the fact that the Peprica can test positive in a drug test) and have noticed the flacy skin has gone away. My trainer uses it on all of her horses and not just the show horses and they are all soft and shiney almost year round. All in all it's a great product and priced just right.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product, but not for picky eaters I had one horse that would eat Mirra-Coat and one who wouldn't. The horse that WOULD eat it did show some improvement in his haircoat - his coat was somewhat shinier and less dandruffy after 3 months on the product. FYI: This product starts to smell rancid in hot weather so recommend purchasing in SmartPaks rather than buckets if you're in an area where temps exceed 70 degrees F. (The picky eater wouldn't eat it whether served from a bucket or from a smartpak so I doubt that was my problem - just an fyi if you decide to try the product!)I wanted to get a supplement both horses would eat so I switched to Grand Coat. Piggy horse ate it fine, Picky horse ate it, but wasn't thrilled about it and would always leave some in the bottom of his bucket. Both showed significant improvement in their haircoats - they shed out faster in the spring and were very glossy with great metallic highlights (copper on the chestnut and gold on my yellow-based bay). I was MUCH happier with the Grand Coat than the Mirra-Coat.I recently decided to give SmartShine Ultra a try because the buckets were on sale at the Congress. Too early to tell what the spring haircoat will look like, but even my picky eater loves the SmartShine Ultra. If his haircoat looks as good as it did on the Grand Coat, I'll keep him on the SmartShine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT!! I bought this product because of the great price and great reviews! The package has lasted a while and I can see results! I didn't expect it to work very much since my mare already had her full winter coat, but her stiff coat now has a soft sheen to it and is super soft and silky! It took her about a week to get used to it, but now she scarfs it up every morning! Thanks SmartPak!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, great value! I started feeding this product during the spring when my filly was shedding and putting on a new coat. It brought out beautiful shades in her dunskin coat, and I liked the results so much that I've continued feeding it. She really likes the flavor, and the large bag lasts for a few months. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mirra-Coat is a great product We use this on two horses. One horse is a beautiful Palomino who gets an amazing, shiny coat from this product. The other horse has skin issues and always looks like he is losing his hair. Once we started using this, hair started growing and is now shiny and beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Her dapples came back! I have a bright red blood bay, and every season she gets the most incredible dapples. I started her on Black as Knight thinking I'd get a better coat and maybe the dapples would stand out better. Unfortunately, I had her on the stuff for about 4-5 months, and her dapples dissappeared! I cancelled the Black as Knight for my next shipment and started her on Mirra Coat immediately. Her dapples returned within a couple of months. I'm so happy with this product, and it's a LOT cheaper than Black as Knight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jury's still out I bought this for one of my horses and my dog who both have dry, flaky skin. So far, after nearly two weeks, I see a difference in my dog, but there are signs my mare is still rubbing spots here and there. I'm going to keep using it, though, and see if it just needs more time with her. Both animals eat it readily although it can be a bit messy with the dog.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product MiraCoat works pretty well. For the past couple years I used it, and saw improvement both in Cody's coat and his hooves after about a month and a half. He still had some dandruff in his tail and mane, but not much, I thought probably just as a result of how arid it is where we live. However he did not stop rubbing the top of his tail half out. Cody stayed silky soft and shiny up until recently. The barn at which he lives recently has been having troubles with buying hay of the same little more than decent quality hay it has been in the past. The new hay is still decent but not as good as the old. Immediately his dandruff worsened in his mane and tail, and returned to his body. It takes a lot more elbow grease to get him to the same shine now. I'm disappointed that this supplement appears to be so dependent on the forage quality being at or above certain level, and within a week of the hay quality dropping below that level, it stops producing results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does what it's supposed to do I first started using this product when I saw the grooms at HT Showstables (former show barn of Rodney Jenkins) adding it to every horse's feed. The boy remarked that "the chief" swore by it. My horse had a nice coat, but I was curious to see if it would improve using this product. That was over twenty years ago. I am still using it with great results, from horses who arrive with dull coats and dry skin, to those who have a naturally good coat; you will still see improvement. Several horses look so good all we do is wipe them down with a towel and go. Even their feet are in better condition once they're on it for a few months. And they lick it out of my hand when offered, so there is no issue of rejection in the feed either. it's cheap and it works well. what more could you want?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product!!! This product is great. I have been giving it to my Chestnut TB to get his coat more shiny. In just over 2 weeks of being on it, everyone at the barn is already commenting how great he looks. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best coat saver around my lovely thoroughbred likes to grow the shaggiest winter coat i've ever seen on a thoroughbred. with the help of many blankets, this winter he was on mirra-coat, and he remained silky and shiny all winter long, plus he shed out any straggler hairs very quickly come spring time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shiny Coat! I body clipped my Arab mare for the Rose Parade in November, but her coat never grew in like it was previously. Dry and off color. In little over a week the shine is starting to come back!
