Easy and Palatable
I was using Triple Crown 30% grass balancer for my pony and mini donkey, both of which are very easy keepers. I liked the Triple Crown, but was having a hard time finding it consistently in my local feed stores. So of course I went to Smart Pak to find out what they had that was comparable, and this was the best product. I switched with no problems at all, both of them like it. My pony just turned 4 and is beginning his dressage and jumping training, so I was concerned that only having a grass balancer and unlimited t&a would not provide him with the energy needed to be in regular work, as well as develop all those new topline muscles. However, this has proved to be more than adequate for our needs and I'm very pleased with it. It's now on auto ship.

Perfect
I love Buckeye products and have used them on and off for years. When I moved to California my mare went from an easy keeper, to extremely easy. Her old feed was far too much. She’s also a VERY picky eater. I tried another RB which she refused after a few weeks. This she gobbles up with ease. Even better that its delivered to my door. Makes my life SO easy.

great for seniors
needed a little extra "UMPH" in my horses diets. Both seniors, one is a Shetland gelding and one is a Clydesdale mare. I use this as a feed additive to their regular meals to provided extra nutrients. They are both more energetic and alert. My mares topline is improving, and the low starch/sugar ratio is working well for my pony. They both eagerly eat every last pellet in their feed pans, so it must taste pretty good (one will not touch anything she even slightly dislikes).

It's the best!
This is the best feed for my welsh ponys. I love that smartpak carries it. They get fat on air. So I'm glad this feed gives them all the vitamins and minerals that my pasture doesn't have. buckeye is a great company!

I have used this product for a long time on many different horses. Their body condition always improves.And you don't have to feed a lot. It is very cost effective.If you need more calories for heavier work load, you can add ultimate finish- high fat pellet.

Great! Shiny costs!
Worth it! Less than 0.80 cents a pound. Worth it. Higher than vitamin E than most grains. Coat will be SHINY and slick if feed correctly. Great protein for the young ones and no corn. Highly recommend
