Weight Gain without the Energy
I tried all kinds of weight gain products including Rice Bran, and none of them worked as well as this product. My thoroughbred is a hard keeper, and without this supplement he tends to get a little ribby. I only have him on 1/2 a dose now that he is maintaining weight. Also, his coat & feet showed improvement after using this product, and I didn't notice any change in his behavior (ie: He did not get more energetic with this product). I would recommend this to anyone with a hard keeper. You won't see the weight gain overnight, but over a month or two, you will see a completely different horse that maintains their weight.

Really Like This!
I recently came a across a abused and very poor looking 8 year old mare. She was nothing but a bag of bones she was so poor - it was pitiful. I purchased this product and within about 3 weeks she started showing signs of improvement. I have had her 6 weeks now and she looks awesome. Some of my friends have come by and just cant believe its the same mare.

Chunky Monkey, but in a good way!
My horse has been on this now for about a month and a half now, and I have definitely seen improvement in his weight! I was worried at first that it wasn't working very well, but then in the past three weeks or so, I've noticed a difference, and am rather happy about that with winter coming around the corner (end of this week!).
I have a Saddlebred gelding, and he's been a hard keeper the past few years, and I think we finally found our trick!

added shine to his coat
Fed Gleam & Gain to a horse with a dull coat and I think it helped him to shine. He ate it easily - however he is the type to eat anything. I didn't feed it long enough to know if it would help him gain weight.

Still Working on it
I have been giving this supplement to two of my horses, we recently brought them home and my young TB and my old Saddlebred dropped some weight from the stress of moving. It worked very well on the older horse who is looking much better now but I am still waiting to see drastic results in my young TB. I am ordering this again and going to be giving the max dose as opposed to the min dose and see how it works.

So far So good
We are using this as a booster in conjuction with a feed out of other products for a 19yo TB who always drops weight during fly season. I did not notice a HUGE jump in weight but a pleasent maintenance of his weight and nice sheen to his coat that almost looks like he has been sprayed with oil in the sun. I think the best part is I like the Smart Pak convenience and knowing the fat content is way up there without a lot of other filler - I'm just loading him with fat and not starches. In the winter he gets the satisfaction of chewing all day and a ton of calories from wet/fresh beet pulp from a sugar beet factory so gets really nice and fat. This works almost as well, just not as fast.

Excellent addition for mid season "maintenance"
My 3 eventers are constantly on the move to different shows every other weekend, and this limits their normal grazing and grass time, and I find the exertion of that as well can sometimes take a little wear and tear on the coat and weight, no matter how hard I try. So I added this to their regiment and it's done the trick on keeping them fat and shinny! I can spare $1.50 a day to keep my guys looking like a million bucks :) Worth the price EASILY. Reccomended it a few clients as well with those tricky thoroughbreds that no matter what they're eating still can look a little "ribby". This seems to really fill in the gaps with all the nutrients, while not being what I consider "Oreo Filling"

Shiniest coat ever
I have used rice bran for years to put a nice shine on my horses coats. Last year I added Gleam & Gain and their coats blossomed! They were shinier and it brought out the dapples. Gleam & Gain has a permanent place in my feeding program.

Grat Product
This is better than the hrdkeeper as you dont need as many wells per feeding. However, I do have a couple of horses that will eat the hard keeper but not the gleam and gain. I notice improvement within 30 days and within 90 they are realy starting to shine and shows sign of bloom. Its great to add those extra calories wiht out making your horse hot. I like this product alot and would recommend it fort hos who want to add that extra show glow to their horses.

Horse LOVES it
I have a young horse in training that I've struggled to keep at a healthy weight, he's always just a little thin. He can also be a picky eater, so I got a few samples from SmartPak for him to try, and he just LOVES this stuff! Licks his bucket clean every time. He has filled in a little bit since starting him on this, but I think I'll have to up him to 2 scoops instead of 1 scoop (he's small - about 15.1hh).

Love Gleam and Gain!
This stuff is great. My AQHA was a little "ribby" and is a liver chesnut whose coat was a bit dull until I started him on Gleam and Gain. He picked up weight the first month he was getting it, (just a maintenance dose) and now he GLEAMS. Love it.

so far I love it
So far, so good. My mare that came out of winter looking a little thin is fat and shiny. I'm not sure if it's the grass or this product (I've used it less than a month), but at this price and palatability I'm going to keep on using it.

GREAT prouduct
My horses coats and weight look fantastic and has been a God sent for my new race track rescue, has even helped his feet grow a whole shoe size. I've been able to reduce their grain by 2 pounds each a day. Even my picky eaters love this and I tried 3 other "name brand" products and they wouldn't eat has actualy increased my 32 year olds apitite

I'm a Fan
When I moved my American Saddlebred from a show barn to a herd situation it began to become obvious that she's just not cut out to live on an all hay diet. I put her back on her old feed schedule with the grain she'd always had but I just wasn't seeing results. With this product results have been very fast in coming and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed! Aside from steadily gaining weight back, she is building muscle tone and her skin and coat look better than they did when she lived in the show barn! I cannot say one bad thing about this product other than that I wish it came in pellets (my mare sometimes leaves traces of it at the bottom of the bucket and I'd be happier if she ate it in its entirety). She's only been on this a short time but it's done everything I've expected it to do and then some. I'm very happy with this product.

The title says it all!
I have a retired 26 year old American Saddlebred Gelding that is a "true" hard keeper. After only the first full month of feeding Gleam & Gain, I have seen a remarkable positive physical change in the gelding. He is filling out again and his coat is starting to really bloom again. I have tried numerous weight gain supplements - some he would not even touch. Glean & Gain formula is palatable and he cleans every bit of grain. I can't say enough good comments and I'm looking forward to see more results in the near future! Thanks

Love This Product!
This combines so many other products that we were using. Everything that we have gotten from Smart Pak for our horses/ponies, has been to tremendous success! Our horses/ponies always eat all of their smart paks in their feed. We are firm believers in Smart Pak! We can already see a difference in their coats, their energy, and general health!

Excellent product!
I have an OTTB who I could NOT get to gain weight, and after 2 months on this supplement she was noticeably gaining. She never had trouble eating this when it was mixed in with her grain and her coat also benefited hugely from Gleam and Gain. She is really shiny and looks great! People comment on how pretty her coat looks all the time. She is a very healthy weight now and is keeping the weight on. It works great!!

Shiny
I always receive comments about how shiny my horse's coat is and how great his coat looks. I mainly put him on this for weight gain as he is a hard keeper and we also work pretty hard. I have tried other products for weight gain but have had issues with him getting nervous on some of the supplements that have a higher protein content for muscle gain. This has definitely kept him a lot calmer and he has also been putting on quite a bit of weight. He loves the taste of it and will eat the rest of his supplements because they are mixed in with this. Standing him to hay has also helped put some pounds on him as he was really skinny when I first horse.

Little Results so far
My gelding has been on this for about a month, and it took that long before he started showing results. He is gaining weight finally, but skin and coat still a mess. Will have to see what a couple more months looks like.

I bought this for my 22 year old STB who was a bag of bones when I rescued him. He gained well on the 2oz. dose. And licks it out of the pan. I'm on my second 10 lb bucket. It's winter, but I think he will be ready for just a maintenance dose in spring. good stuff.

Great product!
Last winter my 25 year old TB mare lost a lot of weight due to an infected tooth. I put her on Gleam and Gain and she not only put the weight back on, but looks great!

Good for weight gain
I have a rescue standardbred, 23 years, who needed a lot of weight. This product is putting it on nicely. Not making him hot, he licks it out of his feed bin. Highly recommend for weight gain. He is on the 2 oz dose. The 10lb bucket lasted me a while. I am reordering.

Fantastic!
Got this for a 5 yr old OTTB rescue. She came in with a BCS of 2 and now 6 weeks later is a BCS of 4.5! The vet can't believe how much she improved and how much her topline filled out. She of course gets grass and grass/mix hay, but this stuff made all the difference!

Wow!!
I have tried several different supplements and feeds to help my hard keeper TB gain weight. She's been on Gleam & Gain Supreme 60, along with Smart Omega 3 for just under a month, and she's finally gaining! She often left half of her meal behind, but now she's eating every crumb in her bucket. Her neck is developing a lovely little crest, her topline is improving, her hindquarters are rounding, and I can't find ribs anymore! She looks fantastic. Thank you SmartPak!

Best Weight Gain
When I first got my TB cross about 3 months, he was about 500 lbs under weight. I tried several brands of weight gain from local tack stores and he looked better, just not 100%. He coat was very dull, even while on vitamins and extra fats. I've only used this for two weeks and I see a huge difference. I only feed him half as much grain as I was and he is still putting on fat. His coat is starting to shine like our other horses. He eats ever bit of this and I don't blame him because its smells delicious. Worth every penny!
