Proven time-released hindgut buffer
Time-released hindgut buffer to decrease risk of hindgut acidosis in at risk horses. Horses consuming grain as part of their daily ration or grazing lush pasture have an increased risk of developing hindgut acidosis due to starch or fructan overload and resulting fermentation in the hindgut. EquiShure® acts to attenuate changes in hindgut pH that may result from fermentation of starches in the hindgut.

Pallatable
I bought this for my OTTB that I suspected hind gut ulcers in. He ate the supplement fine/didn't seem to mind it but I didn't noticed a difference to be able to say it worked.

Didn’t notice a difference in my horse
I wanted to love this, but I didn’t notice any difference with my horses bowel movements. It was easy to feed and my horse ate it though.

It's done the trick!
My mare has had runny manure for years. Tried all kinds of probiotic & other supplements. Nothing worked but Equisure. She now has regular manure.

Great results!
I have a horse who had a pretty severe colic episode that turned into colitis within a month of me owning him. After that, keeping weight on him was extremely difficult. He also would act uncomfortable when grooming and display mild grumpiness when riding. After putting him on this supplement the results were immediate and I am so glad a friend suggested it! I can even tell a difference if he misses a day. He is calm and content almost all of the time and he is also now an easy keeper. I cannot say enough good things about this supplement and how much it has helped my horse!

Worked great for a poppy booty!
Love this stuff!! Have a horse that is sensitive to hay changes and always get horrid diarrhea. Tried probiotics with no changes but this stuff cleared him right up!! Yay, no more washing a poopy booty!!

It really works!
After a couple of years of trying many other products I learned about EquiShure. Doubtful at first since nothing I had given my mustang rescue mare had worked I gave it a try. As long as she gets her dose 2x a day her bum is clean and there is no dripping all down her legs and tail. I am able to brush her tail without gloves and her white socks are sparkling
clean again!! Her manure now is healthier, it is smaller and drier much more normal looking.

Can't say how it works, he won't eat it
My 25 year old, moderately picky gelding wouldn't eat it, not even in soaked alfalfa pellets. After 5 days of him not eating his breakfast, I cut them off his SmartPak and gave them to the local OTTB rescue.
I am unable to speak to how well it works
Maybe if they turn it into a pellet I will try again.

Made my horse so much happier!!!
I bought this I little over a month ago and it has made a huge difference in my horse's mood. When I groomed him in the past, he would pin his ears, swish his tail, and show a lot of discomfort when I brushed his belly especially in his hind gut area. Also his stool would get runny mostly in the summertime. After putting him on the supplement, he could care less when I brush his stomach. He doesn't get too runny anymore, and he is just overall so much happier. I highly recommend this supplement.

Did not work for me, no improvement.
Was palatable and my picky horse had no problem eating it, however it did not work for him. Had him on it for four weeks at maximum recommended dose (fed twice a day) for hindgut issue per my vets recommendation and no change. If anything, issues got worse. Hard to accurately rate because the value. Don't mind spending more for a product when it works.

Immediate results - so happy with this product
My new horse had me pulling out my hair. He would take hours and hours to pick through his feed, and would end up eating maybe 1/2 (sometimes less). He'd leave his food to go chew wood. All his barn mates were loving his left overs that I ended up feeding him because he just refused it all. He came in underweight and vet and I were both at a loss. Dental done. Chiro done. Ulcer meds made go off his feed even worse. Heard about this product and am so glad I went with SmartPak. Within 24 hours of his first dose he began cleaning his soaked feed. 48 hours later he started cleaning up his hay too. And the wood chewing stopped almost immediately. THANK YOU SMARTPAK for this miracle product. I can finally sleep at night!

Seems to work fast
I put my mare on this only a few days ago and she is already having much better looking manure. After two long rounds of sucralfate, her manure looked good but not quite perfect still and this has really helped her. Will re-evaluate in a few weeks

My picky horse loves it!
This product was recommended by fellow trusted equestrians for ulcer care/prevention. My horse is very picky and suspicious of new things in her bowl but she ate the Equishure product immediately:) Despite only using this product for a couple months, I've been happy with it and so is my horse!

Simple but Effective
I've had my horse on this supplement for several years. Every time I try to cut back to one scoop (he is on 2 scoops) or I ask him - hey Dude, do you really need this stuff? He answers resoundingly - YES! by producing gas and moving as if he is 4-legged lame because he is so uncomfortable under saddle As soon as I put him back on Equishure - 2 scoops - he is happy again. Seriously, why do I ask? Much cheaper than Ulcerguard. While Smart Pak is a bit more expensive per day than buying a 7.2 kg bucket and making up those pesky baggies, I decided long ago, to let SP do their job.

didn't work for my horse
I bought this as a maintenance supplement to start after my gelding's ulcer treatment. He's always had loose stools and this didn't change that, and after about a month he started having extremely loose stools, like water.

Doesn't seem to be working for my horse
I started this product about 40 days ago for a 9 year old QH with intermittent chronic diarrhea. It was recommended by a local veterinarian and a Smartpak representative. So far I have not seen any change. I plan to give it another 20 days.

Good stuff!
My horse was very nervous, had a difficult time transitioning to the trot and canter, and was very girthy. On top of that, she had very (pardon the gross factor) juicy, sour toots. Determined she may have a hindgut ulcer. This dried out her toots within a couple weeks and she steadily got better about the other issues throughout the month.

Excellent product. Vet recommended
KIngsford my saddlebred gelding coliced and twisted due to severe colitis and upon discharge the vet at the hospital recommended adding this supplement to his diet for a long while. He is doing well now and tolerates Equissure very well.He is a finicky eater so it must be good!

It's working
My horse has been having issues with the new rich grass this season. We've tried this product and his manure is normal now. I have to believe it's working. He's not crazy about the taste, so we mix it with his grain and a little water.

It seems to be working for the Princess
My mare was leaving feed behind and seemed not as hungry as she usually was before we started competing (50 mile endurance horse). I have used Ulcergard in the past to keep her tummy happy, but once we started competing and she started getting a bit of alfalfa as her ration I stopped the ulcergard. It didn't seem to make a difference either way on the ulcergard or off, but she still left feed behind that she used to clean up. I discussed it with a respected long term endurance rider and veterinarian and she suggested the hind gut may be bothering her. I am now on my third month and she has been eating like normal for over a month. A small price to pay for comfort for my talented hard working girl.
