Great product
Love this product, only 4 oz per day and balances my grass hay perfectly. My horses hooves and coats look great. They are also starting to build better top line.

Could be better
I like that this supplement doesn't have any iron in it. I don't like that it uses some synthetic vitamins rather than the more easily absorbed natural form. I'll probably go back to using CA Trace.

Excellent Vitamin/Mineral supplement
Very palatable. The different formulas of equi-base products allows me to customize their ration. We switch to the sport horse during endurance season. Both have a nice base level of vitamins and minerals that I can easily add more of certain supplements if needed. Such as biotin or vitamin E.

A good basic vitamin-mineral supplement
I would have given 5 stars, but I have a couple horses that don't love it and leave a few pellets behind. Most eat it well though. We have high iron hay, so I have to add extra copper and zinc. I like that it has no added iron.

Highly Palatable, Good Value
I am very pleased with the Equi-base Grass Pellets for my equines - two minis, a pony, and a horse. After comparing many vitamin-mineral supplements on the market, this formula seemed like a good value for my herd. They smell great to me, and my horses eat them down eagerly. I have been very satisfied with every purchase I have made from Uckele.

Almost everything I need
I have taken my mare off soy. Using Feed XL I was able to figure out this was the only vit/min supplement that covered all of her needs in a pellet form. I was super excited. Then I just figured out I some how missed it has soybean oil in it. :-( The demand for soy free is growing and if you changed out the soybean oil for something else this product would be far above related products. I will use up what I have but I think I am going to have to go back to hours of searching for a soy free vit/min pellet that covers all her needs.
Another product that would be fantastic is a high protein soy free pellet. Tri-amino doesn't taste all that great and could use more of the amino acids.
