Giving it a try!
I am new to Stress Relief, but since performance horses are often at risk for developing ulcers, I thought I would give it a try. Have noticed some improvement, so will continue to use it!

Worked for my anxious gelding..
I am on my 3rd bag now for my one gelding. And this really does work to help with a horse that is anxious about almost everything & has a sensitive stomach. Really saw a big difference in his demeanor after the 2nd bag. The only negative that I would say it is that I tried to give this to my one VERY picky eater mare (who get occasional stomach upset) & she would not eat it. No matter what I used to try and cover up the taste with, it didn't matter. But, my gelding had NO problem gobbling it down. And he was the one that needed it the most.

Don't use it as a clay pack!! Lol!
I bought this when I ran out of external clay pack for my horse- thought it was same thing... Made a thick slurry and put it on my mares sore hip. Go out the next day and the pack is gone.. I board, so I thought maybe a staff person brushed it off. Nope. Mare reached back and licked it all off!!
Then I read the package and was intrigued because my mare is rehabbing and is on gastric guards etc. Started adding it to her feed. In 2 weeks I noticed her coat was soft, like she was just bathed, all the time. I give it to her with electrolytes dry and she cleans them up, so it must be a needed mineral for her. Really excited about this find!

Didn't see that this made any difference. Also, doesn't mix well so stays at the bottom of the feeder.

Very affordable with great results
I did a lot of research on why my mare was all of a sudden agitated when horses would get near her. It was such a drastic change. I tried all the "moody mare" products with no success. I wanted to stay as natural as possible and read about Redmond products. I have used it for a month now and have just started to notice a difference. I can't wait to see how she will be in the next couple months. I do feel she was experiencing some stress from being a lesson horse to being challenged with my riding desires.

My Horse Wouldn't Eat It - At First
It took my OTTB a little while to get used to this supplement at the full 2 scoops a day dose. But now, he doesn't seem to have an issue with it. I'm very happy with how relaxed and happy he seems. My hot jumper is now acting more like an eq horse!

Good product
My horse is a trail and mounted shooting horse. He gets nervous at the competitions and gets the runs, then back to normal once home. Daily Gold really helps calm him and he is now fine when competing. I have to add water to his feed or he leaves it at the bottom of the bowl. When I do this, it sticks to his feed.

I wish my horse would eat it
I wanted to love this supplement, but my mare wouldn't touch it. I had heard great things about it, so I was super excited to try it for my 9-year-old, stressy, chestnut, OTTB mare. She gets water added to her grain anyway, so I thought it wouldn't be a problem to mix this supplement in. When mixed with water, it goes from a powder to a super sticky clump of wet clay(I could totally see how this could help my mare if I could actually get it into her). Then I tried molasses, hoping it would mask the taste without turning it into wet clay, but that was still a solid no from the mare. This horse will eat anything if there's molasses, so after she refused that for a few days, I gave up. I tried to give it away at the barn, but none of the horses would eat it either. I finally gave it to a friend with two obese QHs who were happy to eat it if it was mixed with grain. If the taste of this supplement was improved, I would absolutely try it again for my mare.

Vet Recommended
I have a very anxious/ulcer prone show horse. She is prone to getting upset tummy (not colic but just uncomfortable). I had her on one of the stomach supplements on here, but my vet said that they don't work all that well. The pellets will just stay in the stomach until they're digested. This product works because instead, it lines the stomach! This has helped her water intact, her stomach no longer gets upset, and you can't beat the price. I will put all of my show horses on this! Sadly I can't give it the full 5 stars as my horse isn't always happy to eat it. She does if I mix in well, but not totally picky-eater approved.

Horse wouldn’t eat it
I wanted to love this supplement so much. I had heard great things about it and it seemed to help with my mare’s loose stool. That being said, she absolutely refused to eat it. I tried wetting the food with water, nothing. Then added cocosoya hoping it would mask the taste, still nope. If there is some way to improve the taste or even put it in pellet form, I think that would be a huge development for this supplement.

Really Wanted it to Work
I had high hopes for this supplement after glowing reviews from friends. My mare, however, would not eat it. Between the powder from this supplement and the U-Gaurd I had her on, there was always grain left with Grey and red(the U-Gaurd) paste (wet grain). I’m sad it didn’t work for her but will be looking at other options. May work great, but not for picky eaters.

want to love it
bought this for my 9 yr old TB who is unpredictable. he can cycle from head on the ground to rearing back to head on the ground over and over constantly. It has helped some but not quite the change i was hoping for.

Unbelievable!
I have been struggling to get my 24yo to finish his grain for almost 3 years after serving skin cancer and local chemo. We did 30 days of Omeprazole and every supplement around. Daily Gold got him to eat his full serving after the VERY FIRST DOSE! Unbelievable is all I can say! His appetite is back and his wt is coming up. I cant say enough... except to say all 8 of the horses I own are now on a daily dose.

Seeing difference, using SP guide for picky eater
I bought this and tried it but my extremely picky mare smelled something different. Smartpak has a guide on the site for picky eaters. I sprinkled some cherry gelatin and water, mixed, and my horse gobbled it up. I've used this product for a week and my stressed mare that wouldn't finish her grain is now eating it all, and her personality is back to normal. I will finish the 5 week supply and purchase more to give at a lower dose as a preventative/maintenance measure.

Wonderful for ulcer prone horses
I have a 15 year old QH gelding who gets NSAIDS for Chronic Uveitis in his left eye (the inflammation that can lead to moon blindness). This is tricky because he's had ulcers in the past and NSAIDS can aggravate/cause ulcers. The vet recommended this based on other clients she's had that have used it. I've been using it for about a year and we haven't had any further ulcer issues. I like it so much that I give it to both of my horses.

Great ingredients, great price!

Won’t go without!
I bought DailyGold because my local feed dealer recommended it, saying she had many customers buy it for their over stimulated horses. My mare has had a history of stomach issues, and tends to get worried easily! DailyGold has knocked the edge off, as well as, helped her stomach so much. Under saddle she is a completely different horse then she was 2 months ago, trustworthy and consistent, all while being more confident! THE ONLY DOWN FALL is that for very picky eaters you may want to mix it with some sort of oil. My mare is picky but does really well with eating it!

didnt use it long because my horses wouldnt eat it
Added it to my tb's smartpak because a friend suggested it. He wouldnt eat it. so I started giving that well to my other horse, he wouldnt eat it either. Cancelled it and wont use it anymore

Seems to work
I started my horse on this almost two months ago as a little bit of a hail mary, as he had been developing spooky behavior under saddle that was unlike him, to the point where he would be spinning out and jumpy at the slightest trigger. I use feedxl so I know he doesn't have a magnesium deficiency, and I didn't want to feed him more of that ingredient since his levels are fine, so I was looking for something that had low/no magnesium in it. It came down to this product or the vitamin b1 supplement, and I ultimately chose this one since it claims to help with stomach issues, and he's had mild ulcery behavior that my vet has been having me treat with aloe vera. This supplement has helped both issues. He's a lot less grumpy about being groomed in his belly area and the spookiness under saddle has been noticeably reduced. I did keep him on the aloe vera as he did show mild improvement on that, but adding this supplement has really helped a lot more than I thought it would. I figured I'd be giving this a try for a bit and then switching to the b1 when it didn't work, but I think I'll be keeping him on this one for now! As an added bonus, it is very affordable as well.
