Best product ever
I have a senior mare that I have struggled keeping her weight up. I have tried all of the usual, beet pulp, corn oil, digest aid and a myriad of others. Then I tried Cocoa Soya. Not only did she pick up weigt, but her coat was soft and shiny. Unfortunately the store where I was buying it no longer carries it. Yhey had another product that they said was the samme thing. It was not. My mare lost weight again. So I searched on line and was so glad to find it! I am very sincere when I say this stuff is the best.

Great supplement!
I started giving my horse this supplement, and he didn't like it much at first, so I mixed the powder with a little water, and added to his grain. Eventually, I just added to the grain, and dripped some water and stirred it in, and now he seems to like it just fine! His coat has become SO shiny!! And since he's half arab, the extra calories are good for him, I only give him half the amount that is recommended, and it's just perfect!

Warning For Horses With Inflammation
I misread the label on this thinking it had more Omega 3's than 6's, but it has more Omega 6 and it made my horse who needs more anti-inflammatory in his diet much worse with inflammation and he became more lame as it was fighting against his anti-inflammatory smartpak. It is great in the sense that it added extra fat that he needed and made him shiny but is not a good fit horses that need an anti-inflammatory diet.

My rockie gelding is PPID and on a strict diet with balanced minerals. He has been turning his nose up at his food lately and can't afford to lose weight. Cocosoya is the first thing that has tempted him to eat in a while. We love it.

Great for picky eaters but don't buy the pump
I have a horse recently diagnosed with PPID/IR and started on Prascend who has become very picky about feed and supplements. He is cleaning up everything since I started the Cocosoya oil. My other horse also loves it. That being said, I do not recommend buying the pump for the jug. The oil is messy as oil is and the pump leaks oil after you pump it. Also the oil needs to be shaken before use and even if you are careful, the oil leaks all over. After 2 days of it, I threw it away I was so annoyed. Skip the pump and transfer the oil into an empty squeeze bottle and you will be much happier.

Love!
I originally put one of my horses on cocosoya to help him gain a few pounds. Worked fabulously! But now I keep both my horses on at least one pump of cocosoya year round to keep their coat shiny and soft!

My horse eats a cup of this oil with ration balancer at every meal. so far she loves it and will lick the measuring cup. I ordered the gallon to make sure she would eat it and have since ordered the 5 gallon option for the month.

Smells like cupcakes.
Love the smell! It's messy, which I don't love, but that's what you get with a liquid. I have a mare that we really struggle to keep weight on. (She's 29) She gets this along with Smartpak's 99% fat. Her coat has gotten so much healthier since we've added this to her diet! I can't yet speak to how effective it has been in helping her gain weight and we're on month #3. I do still plan to keep her on it several more months hoping it'll help her, but her coat is the best I've seen in years!

For some reason my horse doesn't love the taste and usually leaves a lot behind. I've also not noticed any particular bloom about him either--maybe due to the fact he doesn't eat much of it. I'll try it again for another month, but will probably be switching to something else.

I bought this for the first time last month. I was looking for a feed additive to help my hard keeper retired Half-Arabian. I was worried about the taste, but he absolutely loves it!! Only drawback was when the bottle was empty, there was still a bunch of the oil thickened and stuck to the bottom of the jug. Kind of looked like caramel.

Gleaming coat and healthy weight
I bought this about two months ago to put weight on my senior horse because I heard it can be good for hard keepers. Not only has he put on weight but his coat is so shiny and soft.

Better Coat with CocoSoya
I doubted this product at first. However, after a month I did notice more shine in his coat. Plus, it is very palatable. He likes the flavor, which is a big plus. It can't do its job if the horse does not eat it. I plan to keep him on it.

Great product.
This really brought the shine and dapples out in my palomino mare. I got it to add weight but the coat was a bonus. I think it did more for her coat and hooves than it did for weight gain.

Great product!
This product arrived in a super timely manner, and it worked wonders on my QH, who'd lost quite a bit of weight after struggling with ulcers through the winter. He found it quite tasty, and he's certainly got his bloom back!

Great for shiny coat
The horse that I bought it for was struggling to gain weight and his coat looked awful. After using it for more than a month his coat is improving and with some caloric increases (due to more feed and this oil) he's gained considerable weight.

Keeps weight on my eventer
MY TB becomes a very hard keeper in the summer due to his training schedule and his normal feeding schedule was 8-10 pounds a day of Nutrena Fuel and 2 pounds a day of alfalfa pellets and we could barely keep weight on. Now he is on 6 pounds a day of Fuel and 1/4 cup Cocosoya in the am and pm and I could probably cut his Fuel back to 5 pounds. I wasn't thinking 1/2 cup would make that much of a difference but it has really kept the weight on.

High Quality Calories
Among my herd of 8 are two 29 year olds, a thoroughbred and a Hanovarian. Both are hard keepers. My Hanovarian, Littles, had particular issues with maintainin weight, because of very high ACTH (Cushings). When we increased her dose of Prascend, her appetite slowed down considerably. I started give both a dose of CocoSoya with each meal. They get grain twice a day and soaked alfalfa pellets twice, as well. The addition of this product has added weight fairly quickly and had the added benefit of improving coat condition. We love Cocosoya....and SmartPak, best customer service on the planet!

Omg LOVE
I switched from Power Stance to this because of major issues getting it in a timely fashion. Within a couple months the improvement even over Power Stance was notable! I have a large Clydesdale with Shivers and we have been relentlessly trying to find a perfect nutritionally balanced diet that helped with the Shivers. Even with vets all over the world trying to help us, nothing worked. He was unrideable for years. After 3 months on this he perked up and I have been riding him since! I do feed him other high quality items multiple times a day and I do believe those factor in BUT this made all the difference! I now have every horse on the property on this twice a day.

Weight, Skin, and Coat
I've put off writing a review for about 5 months as I've been waiting for the horses to shed their winter coats. Cocosoya is tasty to ALL my horses, helped a dangerously thin horse gain weight and eat again, left my horses with shiny manes and tails, and gave my horses beautiful plush winter coats. Now the final test has been passed - my bay mare that hasn't had dapples since we moved three years ago shed out to be absolutely COVERED in them. Even one of the grullas has faint dappling!
I initially purchased this around five months ago as a last resort for a mare that wasn't eating. Due to an inflamed tooth, she refused to eat absolutely anything for days and with her body condition already a 3, I was desperate. I poured a generous amount of this on soaked hay cubs and she pushed all the hay aside to lick up the oil. Didn't solve the no eating problem, but at least I knew it tasted amazing!
Now, about 3 months later and with the help of some senior feed (and a pulled tooth), she's gained upward of 150 pounds and looks sleek, shiny, and healthy. I keep her on 5 oz. a day and the others 2 oz. All the horses are velvety and glow in the sun, and I couldn't be happier!
The pump for the 5 gallon is also great. One pump = 1 oz. Makes feed time go a lot quicker!

Excellent product
I feed this two my two older geldings that need the extra fat! It smells amazing and they gobble it up.It works great! It also helps leave them shiny! Would highly recommend getting the 1 oz pump that fits the bottle. Makes life SO much easier when feeding!
