He wouldn't eat it in his food (not unusual for him), so I had to give it orally every day. Based on the reviews I expected to see a result, but really I didn't notice a difference in either his body or performance. I will not be re-purchasing this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrea 71 from Def builds body I have been using this product approximately one month. I'd say that it did take approximately three weeks to see results. I have not noticed much of an improvement in coat condition. But I have noticed more muscle along the neck and shoulders.

My horse likes the taste and eats it right up over his grain, and I have seen a noticeable improvement in his top line muscle development within a month of giving this to him.

I bought a very poorly taken care of 17h 8yo ISH gelding, and while I do feed him a LOT of food, I do believe this product should take a lot of credit for his amazing transformation. I know, it's incredibly expensive, but I guarantee to you that it will work better than anything else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SunsetRidgeStables from Only thing I've found that works! I have a 20 year old OTTB training at 3rd level in Dressage that has lost condition again this fall. Last fall we tried cool calories, supplements,and oils, but it wasn't enough. We gave him 15 ml once a day in the morning, and he's already got better condition of his coat, and you can see where it's starting to build. Mostly, we've seen it around the whithers, ribs and base of the tail. It is a bit expensive, but for all the crud I was trying to throw into him that would just make him hot, this is well worth it.

He stopped losing weight but could not gain any no matter what I tired. And I tried *many* things without any luck. Several levels of horse people AND his dentist AND his vet suggested things to try or change but nothing seemed to stick, so to speak. Over the course of the year, his diet, supplements, barn, turnout, worming, and pasture mates were assessed, adjusted and/or completely changed. I read the reviews of several weight gainer products and chose this one based on the reviews about it working when nothing else did. Well, that describes my situation too. Sure enough, a month after using it, his ribs are showing less and he's putting on the weight. FINALLY! It goes right on his grain and he eats it no problem. I still don't have a medical reason for the weight loss, but at least now he is looking great and on the road to better condition.

She has been free feeding on alfalfa and timothy hay the past 4 years, along with getting a huge bucket of rice bran, pellets, integrity, and other weight gain supplements, etc. She has never been able to develop a good topline and always looked slim. She is in dressage training, so it was very important I get more weight on her. My trainer recommended this product and WOWWWWW!!!! Literally after a week, I already noticed a HUGE difference. It's now been a month, and I don't even recognize my mare. Instead of looking like a scrawny TB, she looks like a muscular warmblood dressage horse. Nothing else with her diet has changed. This product is insane!! Highly highly recommend! It will save you tons of $ on other weight gain supplements. I have literally tried every single one that smartpack sells, and none of them worked. The only behavioral thing I've noticed is this supplement makes my mare act slightly on edge. Riding-wise she is doing better than ever! But this product has made her a bit hot, but its totally worth it!
