Excellent nervous system support
My 19 yr old TB mare has some arthritis in her hocks and hips as well as some nerve damage through her face, poll, and C2 vertebrae from a previous injury. When her nerve damage symptoms flare up she winces in her face/eyes and turns her head to the side. Her symptoms went from being a daily occurrence to no symptoms. She is able to be bridled comfortably. I also like the addition of magnesium, as she’s been on magnesium by MVP for a long time due to anxiety and tying up. She is relaxed and comfortable on this supplement and able to stand square and use her hind without pain. She is happy, healthy, and fit. I’m grateful for the benefits of both the CBD and Magnesium for nervous system support.

My 36 y.o. mare started having problems, her back end would lean heavily to the side, and she kept stepping on her own back feet. She was obviously in pain. I tried both equioxx and bute, but she quickly developed ulcers, and had to be treated continuously with ulcerguard, while on either of them. I decided to try these cbd pellets, and after a couple weeks, her appetite picked up, and shes no longer in pain. She now runs around the pasture with my younger fillies. Its been 4 months now, and Im a firm believer in these. Try them, theyre worth every cent! Also, theyre very tasty, as she picks them off the top of her mash to eat first.lol

Adverse reaction
OTTB w/ kissing spine and hock issues. Has been on Smartpak joint & calming supplements for years and treated on/off with equioxx. Tried CBD on recommendation of vet. Horse is MORE anxious and has developed gastric ulcers after 45 days on the product. On the upside, his chronic mud fever has cleared up!

chronic pain and anxiety
My 11yr OTTB has chronic back pain (due to SI joint injury from the track) and stifle soreness. He has regular chiro and his stifles and SI has been injected. However he was still spooky, anxious, and had pain. I have tired several calming supplements in the past. He now has chiro with combo of acupuncture and I have started him about 2 weeks ago on this CBD product in the hopes to calm is anxiety but also help with chronic pain. I as well has my trainer has seen a great change in his behavior. He is more relaxed, can focus, and appears to have less pain. My horse is also a very picky eater but eats it just fine.

Didn't help
I really wanted this to work for my mare...sadly after a couple months I have seen no change in her behavior while on it. I was hoping to get away from Regu-mate and Ace to be able to safely ride. Will be switching to Smart Calm Ultra with this next autoship and fingers crossed that will work for her. If the Smart CBD + Calm were available i would have switched her to that.

it works on spooky horses
I bought this a week ago, I had very little expectations as my horse is very spooky and reactive in our home arena. Our arena is very busy- with parking cars right next to the kickboards, lots of traffic from the street right next the the mirrors (blind), like trash trucks, fire trucks, speeding traffic, city buses. Within the first week, we had positive results, while he may get tense at the sounds he is listening and focused on his rider. No bolting from the loud sounds. It is making him a more relaxed horse that is happy in his work. I recommend you try it. Please note that you don't think you can show at USEF events if your horse is on this supplement because CBD is not an allowed substance.

No Results Seen
My 5 year old Hanoverian mare has always been anxious and busy under saddle. If I am not constantly doing circles or complicated exercises to keep her brain busy she will spook at things for the heck of it because she is bored. I've had her on smartpaks of this for two months now and haven't seen any noticeable change in her behavior. My next months shipment has already autoshipped so I'll be giving it another month but I suspect I will continue to see no change in behavior and will be canceling after this coming shipment.

1 month in, not impressed!
I've been using these for 1 month now, and my normally pretty mellow gelding seems to have gotten quite anxious and spooky. I think I'll be looking for a different supplement! I'll change my review if I see any changes.

Palatable, but no results seen
I bought a 10 lb bag of this a couple months ago for my mare and have been giving it as instructions said to. she seems to like it its palatable but have seen zero difference in her behavior. Maybe it will work for other horses but it did not work with mine
