Smells good enough to eat!
My horse is a picky eater so she eats this last and picks through the grain that it has been mixed into. It smells fantastic so you think she would love it, a really picky eater may not eat it.

great for the $
took my horse a few days to get use to but now he eats it with no problem and I have definetly seen a difference in him! He is drinking much more water and seems to sweat less and have more stamina! Great product and well worth the $

Excellent Electrolyte!
I've been using this supplement for my horses for well over 5 years now and have been extremely satisfied with the quality, palatability, and the positive results of the product. We have dressage horses and stallions of various ages and levels. We utilize this product all year around; not just in the summer. There is less moisture available during winter months (i.e., in the grass, etc.), and we always monitor their water intake. I also like that this product does not contain added sugar, dyes or other unnecessary ingredients. A very effective product that I would highly recommend!

Electrolite
I've used several electorlite products for my Morgans, Apple-A-Day is the only one my horses don't leave on the bottom of their feed bucket. During the summer I add it to their water and again they drink it up.

Rest Assured!
My 11 yr. old mare has been experiencing some impaction since she severed an artery and went on antibiotics. She wasn't feeling her best, nor was she accepting any other electrolyte supplement. She hasn't refused this, and I can take a breath knowing that she's getting them in her system and that they're encouraging her to drink. Within 2 weeks, she's trotting around in her pasture and seems as though she's back to her old self!

Excellent!
This is a great product at a great price! I notice my horse feels better when working in the summer after being on these electrolytes and I have noticed him to drink almost a whole bucket of water more than he would usually drink in the winter months, which to me is great for preventing colic.

Fantastic Value
Everything you need in an electrolyte for a great price. The horses sweat a LOT in the summer here in Georgia and a good electrolyte is a necessity. I keep my horses on a low dose through the winter to keep their water intake consistent when it gets cold.

A MUST-HAVE IN THE HEAT!
I had both of my TWH horses on this all summer because I still ride even when it's hot and I wanted them to be drinking a lot of water and be well-hydrated. It works great in the smart-paks as I can easily pack it where ever I trailer too. The horses both LOVE it much better than the powdered stuff!

Excellent Product!
I really like the ingredients in this product. You get a lot of bang for your buck, which is always great. I started using this with my horse that was dealing with dehydration in humid Florida. I add half a scoop to his nightly feed, and an extra half scoop in the morning if I know I'm going to be riding. He got the "thumps" pretty bad before this product and never again since I started using it. Yay!

Works well in theory
I love the idea that my horse is getting his electrolytes without any added sugar but seeing as I use ACV (apple cider vinegar) as a "glue" to keep all my supplements sticking to the grain when I feed, I can't just top dress with the Apple-A-Day. If I do that it fizzes up and I have NO IDEA what kind of reaction that is causing.
Suffice to say I took the alternate option and added the recommended dose to a separate bucket of water for my horse. He barely touches it. I can't say if it's a matter of taste or what the deal is as he lives outside in the high desert of the west so I would think he'd want to drink the electrolyte water.
As a positive note, the product smells good.

Awesome Product
With this heatwave we are having in Agua Dulce, CA it has been necessary for me to feed this product to my 2 horses so they don't dehydrate even while just standing in their stalls. I have been placing in their water to ensure they intake the 1 oz every other day.

I love Apple-a-day. It's affordable, doesn't contain unnecessary sugars, and I've never had problems with horses leaving it in the bottom of the feed pan! And one tub seems to last forever!

It Works!
I've only used this for 1 week now, but my horse has stopped sweating so much and seems to have more energy during the heat of the day. I have to mix it in his feed because my picky eater won't drink it in his water.

My horses love it
Apple-A-Day smells like a fresh cut apple when you open it and even out picky pony is happy to dig in. I mix it with their AM feed and you can see a real difference in their water consumption. It is very sandy where I am and even with sand clear I would still have problems because my horses just didn't drink enough water. Ever since starting Apple-A-Day I have had no signs of colic or impacted sand.

Works!
I have been giving my TB gelding Apple a Day for about a week and from the first day I noticed that it has greatly increased his water intake. I give it to him in his feed and as soon as he is done eating he goes right to his water buckets to drink. The only problem is that I have a hard time getting him to eat it even mixed with his feed but he eventually give in an eat most of it eventually.

Great Product
I like Finish Lines Apple-a-day mainly because it one of only a few electrolytes that do no contain sugar. My horse is borderline Metabolic Syndrome so his sugar intake is something I watch closely. Also this product is a good blend of the proper electrolytes and not just the equivalent of a ground up salt block. The horses eat it and it works good.

Excellent Product!
I've used this electrolyte for many years. My 26 year old horse has had chronic colic problems in the past. This product helps him drink extra water and replentish the electrolytes he loses during the day from living in our hot, humid climate. Very affordable and tasty.

Great Product
The palatability is not as good as one of the higher sugar electrolytes however, for horses that are sugar intolerant Apple-A-Day is definitely one of the better choices. Our horse still eats it right up and we do see a difference in his water consumption as well. Overall a very good and sugar safe choice!

Good value electrolyte
This is a good electrolyte, especially for the price. I give my horse two scoops a day when he is working in the summer and it definitely helps prevent dehydration by encouraging drinking. He can be a bit of a picky eater, but he eats it in his grain just fine.

last year my horse appeared to start to colic and tie up. I called the vet and followed instructions and thank God she was fine. Later my instructor suggested I use this product to be sure she was drinking enough. So far I like it and I am giving it to the pony also.
