Ripped on day 2 - not usable now
The first day, my horse got it off his head pretty quickly. On day 2, I found it on the ground ripped to shreds. My other fly mask lasted for months.

Kensington Masks Never Disappoint
I have a pony who lost his eye to cancer in 2007. Ever since then, to protect his remaining eye, Caesar wears a Kensington mask every day unless it's raining. The cob/Arab size fits him, the velcro closing is virtually horse-proof, and these masks last a very long time. I thought I ordered a different color, but his new Palm Springs mask looks quite snazzy on him.

Super sturdy!

Nice quality and pretty plaid, but...
I love the Kensington quality, and since my mare has a purple plaid fly sheet, I wanted a matching fly mask. She won't tolerate a mask with ears, so we opted for this basic mask. It's great, but why is the fleece on the neck side, not the ear side? There's little chance of her neck and mane needing extra protection, but the back of her ears could use it.

Nice mask
I like this mask for my Mare whose eyes were bothered by other masks. The Kensington seems to give a bit more room for eyes and eyelashes. It’s weird that the fleece is on the side facing the neck and wither rather than where it meets the ears. ?? I don’t know how useful that feature is, but it’s a nice mask.

Protects eyes well
I bought this to protect an eye that has decreased vision. The horse doesn't seem to mind having the mask on. The mesh is a little stiff so if she bumps something it will move the mesh first and hopefully she feels that and backs away. I got horse size for a smaller sized mare and it's just a little big, but not enough to return.

Great Looking Fly Mask While It Lasted
Lasted for 6 months with daily wear before my mare managed to tear the Velcro jaw strap off. This did not cause rubs or allow things to get caught between her face and the mask. I would replace it with another Kensington mask next time it is on sale. The small fit my 14.1 Welsh Cob with no issues.

It is so fabulous! I love the color! It fits her nicely. I have a hard time with her size. The fleece is soft and fluffy! My only complains are that when I got it is that the extra fleece made a mess. Like fleece fell off but it is good now. :) Also I wish I bought one with ears. This was the only one in her size and color that I liked.

I'm really glad, I bought these Kensington fly masks. I bought 3, for my two 2yo and my 3yo. The netting is thick, and the double Velcro closure feature, prevents the other other horses from pulling them off their pasture mate. I also like that there's a lot of room around their eyes. Prevents the mask from making contact with the eyes. Last but not lest, I love that it protects their eyes from damaging sunlight. Fortunatly, I was able to buy them on sale.
