Perfect Mask for Riding
My horse is having eye issues right now and keeping the flies off them is imperative. This mask fits the bill.
However, I will say that I do not know why SmartPak discontinued the Roma Stretch Bug Eye Saver with Ears fly mask. It is an awesome fly mask.

Great Fly Mask for Riding
This has to be the best fly mask for riding. Not thick over the eyes like normal fly masks thin so they can see. Kept my horse happy on the trail.

Great for riding, not for turnout
This mask is lightweight and would be a good option for a horse that needs a mask for riding. Not durable enough for turning out in.

Fantastic!
The bugs really bother my gelding and were constantly interrupting our ride for him trying to get the bugs off. He seems so much happier and calmer wearing the mask. Its well made and seems comfortable. Just as a note it seems to run slightly smaller than the turnout masks.

Too small for big-headed warmblood
I ordered this to ride with during fly season. The mesh is clear enough for my horse to see through. I ordered the warmblood size, but it is too small. The fabric does not meet under his chin and it does not cover much of his nose.

Fly off!
Happy with this mask which I use when I ride. My horse is super sensitive to flys and was shaking his head. Now we are both happy!

Quality fly mask
My horse had facial surgery last year and needs a fly mask that protects her fistulas. This fly mask covers it nicely. She does not ordinarily rub it off.

Lightweight, not durable
This mask is ok for riding, fits well over tack and it pretty transparent while still providing protection. My complaint is that it only lasted a week before it had a few holes in it. I will be returning this product and opting for the thicker fly masks that hold up to regular wear and tear!

Bug season means riding wtih Quiet Ride.
I have used many Quiet Ride fly masks. A new one every year. I don’t like knats in my eyes, my pony does not either! The best way to go.

I bought the yearling/large pony size for my 14.3h German Riding pony. The mask fits everywhere perfectly except for the ears, which are so big they are comical looking. The ears would easily fit a 17.3h WB or a small mule! My horse's ears are in proportion to his size, they are not exceptionally small. I really don't understand the purpose of this fly mask having ears with at least 3 extra inches of material between the tip of the horse's ears and the tip end of the material. I specifically bought this size FOR the ear size, thinking that since it is sized for yearlings and ponies, the ears would be proportional to the size of the animal.

fits well
I bought this for trail riding because I liked the look of the mesh over the eyes. Buck has some damage to both eyes so his vision is not well. The fit is great for keeping out all kinds of bugs and I believe that he feels more comfortable with a better view because the mesh is more sheer, yet protective.

Does its job
I have started putting this on my warmblood almost 24/7 to keep the flies out of his eyes. Since I started using this fly mask his eyes are not running nearly as much as before. He has managed to get it off on occasion but it usually stays put. The material is soft and I feel like this mask has the best visibility. I have found that this mask washes well.

Better than advertised, and a great fit over tack.
My white mare gets sunburned eyebrows easily, so she wears a fly mask all summer long. The Quiet Ride fits well over her tack, doesn't touch her eyelashes, blocks out flies and bees, and offers some UV protection. What it doesn't have is the "dirty windshield" type of glare I notice with some other flymasks on a sunny day.

great for driving horses
We got this hoping we could use it on our driving horse. The mask is large enough to fit over the bridle and not interfere with the fitting.

Works as I'd hoped
Bought this for trail rides, but so far have only used it in the outdoor arena. I've noticed no difference in my horse's behavior--meaning it doesn't appear to affect his ability to see, while it does keep the flies away from his eyes (vs ears only, as with our standard fly bonnet).

Good fly mask for schooling and trail riding
I wanted to have a separate fly mask for turn out and riding because my horses turnout mask gets so dirty and dingy from daily use. This was a good purchase because its good quality, looks sharp, cost effective, and does its job of keep the bugs out.
When it gets super buggy in the summer my horse will shake his head and get irritated with the bugs so this really helps especially on the trail when you are riding through tall grass on a hot summer day and the bugs are everywhere. The mask fits nicely over the bridle and will rinse clean if it gets dirty. The standard horse size fit my 16.2 TB perfectly as well.

Works a charm.
Really helps with a horse that is sensitive to bugs. Mesh is thin and very easy to see thru. My mare doesn't seem to see as many "shadows" as she does with other brands. On the same note, it is more fragile to rubbing tears. I take it off before I tie her because it can tear easily. I spray the ears with bug spray to make it even more effective.

I bought 2 and they fit both of my horses perfectly. We used them during fly season in the mountains of Idaho.. both horses felt comfortable in the woods and on the plains. Great product

Only fly mask I buy!
The Cashel Quiet-Ride fly mask is wonderful. It fits well, has the forelock hole and protects from the sun - besides flies! Can't beat it! I ordered it with my horse's name embroidered and really glad I did! It looks great as we're going down the trail.

Gnats stay away from eyes
My horse is extremely sensitive towards flying bugs when we trail ride. This mask protects my horse's face so I can have a quiet ride without his head shaking. I was fearful at first because I thought my horse would not see clearly and may spook. He seems to have absolutely no problem seeing clearly. Another riding friend uses this on her horse who is blind in one eye. It is smooth riding for her also when her horse wears the mask.

Great fly mask
This fly mask is very easy to put on my horse. My horse does not try to take it off like he has others in the past, so it must be more comfortable for him as well.

What a difference!
We purchased for both our horses. We used last week for the first time in trail riding. Our horses had no trouble adjusting to them, and no more head tossing in misery with the horse flies! A much more pleasant ride for all of us. We will keep them in our trailer so we will always have them with us.

Great Product!
The fly mask is nice and light and makes rides much more enjoyable for both horse and rider. No more head tossing due to flys! I only wish it came in gray like the other cashel masks. The black can get a little warm when schooling in a sunny arena.

Not durable
Was excited about the mask but it last a day. The mesh tore the length of the side seam. I'll see it back together... unless your horse is very quite and alone you may opt for more durable.
