Dublin Venturer Pull On Boot 4.5 5 30 31
LOVE THIS BOOT! I have owned many Blundstone Boots that are twice the price and seems to fall apart in the sole, maybe becasue of horse urine in stalls? These Dublin boots are great! Beautiful leather- the brown matches my Ariat 1/2 chaps perfectly. I love the style - not a narrow toed traditional looking "paddock boot" which make these perfect to go from riding to teaching lessons and then wearing to the store with jeans. I did put some insoles in mine and a little extra cushion but I'm on my feet for 12 hours at a time and have back issues. I also used mink oil on them before wearing to help with waterproofing. This is the type of product I want to order 10 of in case they stop making them! March 24, 2013
Great boot, tricky sizing Based on reviews, I ordered down a size for a 9. They were too small, so I ordered the 91/2, which is usually my normal size. They weren't any different than the 9! Maybe a fluke, but I took a chance and ordered the 10 and am very glad I did, they are perfect. I put my own insoles in and they are comfy for barn work, trail riding and not too clunky looking to wear into a store. They didn't need any break in time either. They are a bit tight to pull on, but I have a high instep so that's expected for me. I can't say anything yet about durability, but they look like they will hold up well, and are certainly a good value. I would have given them a 5 star rating, except for the trouble with the fit. Thank you Smartpak for free returns!!! March 7, 2013
Great for just wearing I bought these boots to ride in, which I did for a few months. They're fine for a trail ride but not for lessons. I found them to be too chunky. However, they are great for just wearing and look great with jeans. I wear them to the barn and around at shows when my daughter is showing and I have to be on my feet all day. They're better than my sneakers and stay dry in wet weather. The value is excellent for the money. I also love that they're pull 'em on and go. October 2, 2012
wish black was available comfy fit and looks cool. I bought this for just a casual wear when I can be ready for dog walk or just in town. It is too early to mention how durable it is, but I feel it will be. I could go down to 6 W, but w/thick socks 6 1/2 w is just fine. very cute and stylish January 26, 2012
Great Boot For Extra Wide Feet I am very pleased with these boots. I have very wide feet and these are one of the few paddock boots I've found that will fit. They are a bit hard to get on with the first few wears until the elastic sides stretch out a bit, but after that, they slide on with a small tug and stay tight enough that they don't flop around on my feet. The reason I rated them a four as to quality is that I would have liked a bit more padding in the foot bed, but even then, the padding is enough that I would definitely buy them again. As to holding up, I have dragged them through the mud along with other such goodies you find in a pasture and they have held up beautifully. I wear these with a pair of sheer boot socks- I go with Treadstep Sheer Snug if it is winter. January 21, 2012
pleased I have reall trouble with boots & shoes...have had plantar fasciitis, a neuroma, and have a high instep. can"t even get into cowboy boots or ariat zip-front paddocks, i was a biit doubtful when i first put them on, they were tight going on; the elastic helps. there is adequate arch support, and enough toe room. i wear 8 in ariat terrains, but the 8.5 dublins are just right. i'll be keeping them, January 14, 2012
