Research shows that nearly 60% of performance horses have gastric ulcers. Ulcers can adversely affect your horse's performance, attitude, body condition and overall well-being.

SmartGut provides comprehensive gastric support through a selection of ingredients that allow natural healing mechanisms in the stomach to take effect.  These include ingredients to neutralize excess gastric acid, probiotics, prebiotics, soluble fiber, the amino acids L-Glutamine and Glycine, soothing herbs and other safeguards for a healthy stomach lining.

"My mare has an irritable digestive tract and these pellets have helped her feel better. She finishes her grain now, has gained weight and is less girthy. Mare doesn't love the taste, but will eat it with grain."

"I really like this supplement, my horse eats it well and he is a picky eater when it comes to anything new in his feed. He seems more relaxed at shows and not so touchy on his sides."

"My barrel horse gets edgy at big races and shows signs of stress ulcers. Since being on SmartGut she has been eating better while being hauled and has been easier to keep weight on during the heavy race scheduled!"

"My TB has always had trouble keeping weight on (typical!) and this is literally the only thing that has helped him gain weight and fill out. I horse show all the time and although he is an absolute Saint during the shows, he gets extremely anxious before loading so I started him on Smartgut to help combat any stress on his stomach. Within two months of starting Smartgut, my horse gained weight, his coat is shinier than ever and he is less grouchy when I touch his tummy. Two thumbs up!!!"

"My Morgan mare recently developed 'tummy troubles' after a series of stressful moves. She wouldn't eat her morning grain or much throughout the day. She paced and generally looked very uncomfortable. The vet didn't think she had full blown ulcers, just an easily upset stomach, and recommended SmartGut. I have had her on it for about 3 months now and she consistently eats her food, has gained weight back and generally seems less uncomfortable. This product has really helped my horse! The only problem is she isn't crazy about the taste, but will eat it in her grain."
