Ariat Insulated Tek Grip Gloves 4.5 5 42 51
Warm, but not as toasty as I expected My fingers freeze doing chores in the frequent 20 degrees or below weather here in NH. These gloves are nice and toasty in the raw Spring weather, but they are certainly not the frozen-bucket, 15-degree winter gloves I was hoping for. They are comfortable, but not waterproof. Six years and still going I've had these gloves for six years and they're just beginning to show wear and tear. I wear them riding and around the barn all of the time and LOVE them. I live in vermont so negative weather is just a fact of life for me. These gloves keep my fingers warm and cozy. The other part that I love is that these gloves are still slim enough so that I can completely tack up my horse including all of the tricky bridle bits and pieces. The gloves are also nice enough so I wear them around town. I cleaned them by just throwing them into a mesh bag (to protect my other clothes from the velcro) and into the washing machine and they were like new again. The velcro is still really nice and strong and the ends still stay velcroed down nicely. Definitely worth the money! February 4, 2013
Great winter riding gloves I love these gloves for my winter time riding. They help my hands stay warm They are not too bulky. I still have a good feel for the reins. January 14, 2013
Love them! Have had these gloves for 4-5 years and am ordering a back up pair. Warm, great flexibility and grip for riding and often choose them for my barn chores over bulkier gloves. They have worn amazingly well with hard use. Definitely recommend. January 7, 2013
Does the job! For the price, I love these gloves. They keep my hands warm when I ride and I still have good contact with the reins. I wear different gloves for barn work as I am not sure these would hold up to that, so I only wear them when I ride. December 27, 2012
to big I used the size chart to measure my hand for the correct size and they were much to large in width and length. should have ordered at least 1/2 size smaller March 15, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
