Great product for chunky horses
Quite pleased with this product! Use it on a 27 years old APHA gelding with cushings diagnosis. He helped him not look so cresty - less doughy looking sheath, etc.
along with prascend & a diet changes - I am very happy!

Wonderful product
I started two of my horses on this about 2 months ago both were struggling to get and keep their insulin down. Insulinwise did not help these guys. 2 months in and my pony’s insulin is the lowest it’s been in two years it was hanging out in the 70s and I’d now 32 ! The other horse was creeping slowing and is now down to 37 . These pellets are only changed I made so I’m extremely happy with the results and product. The horse is a picky eater and has no issues eats it right up in grain or out of your hand !

Didn’t work for my mare
My mare has been on this for quite a while now, and I honestly haven’t seen any difference. She has been moved to a dry lot situation with carefully monitored hay rations, and is on a low NSC ration. Her weight has not changed at all being on this supplement versus just putting her in a dry lot. My mare is a pretty picky eater, and she did eat this supplement well. I had hoped it would help her with her weight, but alas, it hasn’t worked for her.

My horse is not a picky eater and will eat almost anything. However, she would not eat this at all. Took one bite, spit it out and would not take any more bites.

Helped my easy keeper lose some much needed weight
I started my Haflinger/Belgian cross on the SmartMetabo-Lean early in Winter after he started looking quite wide. He is the easiest keeper, and even though fed only a small amount of grain and on a dry lot, he does not have any trouble keeping weight on. I finally decided to try the SmartMetabo-Lean to see if it would help bring him to a healthier weight while having the benefits of helping maintain his blood sugar levels. After 1 month (which was very unexpected!) he was already fitting into his girth just a little bit easier. I've been using it for almost two months now and I'm thrilled to know that there's something out there that's easy and delicious to feed that can help keep him at a safer, healthier weight.

Best Supplement for Easy Keepers
Oh, my little pony Buttercup! Buttercup came to me a bit overweight and had pretty intense fat patches over her hind quarters, behind her shoulders, and had the classic easy keeper cresty neck. We quickly added the SmartMetabo-lean pellets to her supplement program with a consistent work out plan and within a few months we saw her fat patches slowly decrease. Another plus, is she got super shiny and and dappled out over the summer. I would recommend SmartMetabo-Lean to any of my friends who have an easy keeper and are looking for a little extra support!

My horses hate it.Hard stinky pellets.
I bought this for tow different horses. I usually use Insuline Wise, but looking for a better price point. This does me good if they refuse to eat it unless I hide it in grain or pelleted feed and add whtever I can think of to hide the smell and taste and texture. They spit it out!

Has done wonders!
On my second bag and my girl's cresty neck is almost disappeared and her fat deposits on her rump are much h diminished. Very impressed on how fast it is working. Worth the money. You get what you pay for.

Horse would not eat it
My horse would not eat this for anything! If this was the last thing on earth then he would rather stave to death. I really wish he would've tried it since it is the best supplement on Smartpak for PPID horses.
