Proven time-released hindgut buffer
Time-released hindgut buffer to decrease risk of hindgut acidosis in at risk horses. Horses consuming grain as part of their daily ration or grazing lush pasture have an increased risk of developing hindgut acidosis due to starch or fructan overload and resulting fermentation in the hindgut. EquiShure® acts to attenuate changes in hindgut pH that may result from fermentation of starches in the hindgut.

AQHA 15 year old mare with FWS
I started my mare on this about 2.5 months ago and so far it does not seem to help her Fecal Water Syndrome. There are days where her manure is firmer but as soon as she eats more hay it quickly turns to water. I board and unfortunately they do not have alfalfa (the only thing that seems to help her) to provide daily. I was hoping that this would at least keep her stool firmer but so far I am not impressed. Her back legs are covered with basically diarrhea water, she is constantly farting/squirting liquid. And for the price of it I don't know that I will continue with it after this month.

Effective
I bought this for my ulcer-prone mare who was girthy, had the runs, and was generally body sore despite good overall nutrition, turnout, and regular exercise.
I chose EquiShure b/c of the extensive research behind the ingredients.
Within two weeks I saw great results. Her diarrhea cleared up, her girthiness significantly reduced, and no longer body sore. She’s bright and happy again.
Highly recommend - in fact, we’ve got five horses at my barn on it now, and they’re all improved and doing great!

Lucky has always had loose stool issues and I have constantly kept him on SmartDigest Ultra and Psyllium purges, but there always seemed to be something missing. He had a lack of energy, mild abdomen discomfort, and he was grouchy at times. Colon ulcers are not visible with a gastroscope, so it’s impossible to definitely say your horse has them, and when it comes to a horse's digestive health, hindgut ulcers and acidosis can go hand in hand. My veterinarian recommended I try Equishure on Lucky. I have to admit I was skeptical. It is a powder and Luck does do better with a pellet as far as palatability, but there was no issue in getting him to eat it. In addition to working with my vet, this product provided support for all of Lucky's issues related to loose stool, moodiness, and any gut discomfort. I highly recommend this product!
Hind Gut Acidosis is one of the hardest issues to diagnose. My horse Lucky, suffered from hind-gut acidosis for months before we figured it out. I had tried so many things to make him more comfortable, I had lost count. I did not expect anything to help but decided to give one more supplement a try. After starting this supplement I felt I had a completely different horse -relaxed, lazy, happy to be ridden. Lucky was a highly competitive Reiner before I bought him. For the last 5 years, he has had it pretty easy. I do show him lightly in Reining but I have been showing mostly in Ranch and Trail. He does not have the rigid training that he had previously. I never thought, with the life he now has, he would have any fore or hindgut issues.

Love KER products
This is the third or fourth KER product I have used.
So far I have liked it. While it does not solve all my horses gut issues it does help a good bit and makes me feel better about the stress of traveling and showing on his already sensitive hind gut. I don't have to rely so heavily on the Ulcerguard.

Cure for Poop-Juice
My horse has suffered from chronic bouts of poop-juice (where his poop is fine, but is accompanied by liquid that stains his legs), which sometimes would then progress to diarrhea. I have tried almost every single probiotic, gastric supplement, multiple veterinary-prescribed medications, but nothing worked until I tried this. I will never again be without a pack to use as needed. Even though it is actually a supplement, I think that I will add it to my equine first aide kits to help in cases where horses have over-indulged in lush grass or grain. My picky eater doesn't mind this added to his hay pellets one bit.

Not palatable... horse won’t eat!
Bought this to aide in supporting my horses gut- Dublin usually eats anything! But will not eat this! It comes in two wells- powder form ( a lot of powder!) tried adding slowly.. tried giving one well am and one well pm.. and tried adding teaser on top.. nope.. nothing.. won’t even take a bite.. I soak speedi beet pellets.. so tried soaking i with them.. tried poured on top.. tried without Speedi beet and just TC senior.. it also has a pretty strong smell..
So can’t really give review on the product as he won’t eat it... was really wanting this as it is the only one on market formulated for release in hind gut.. but it’s a no go for us!
I think it’s quality product based on other reviews and reviews of the company.. but not palatable.. and for the price I really think it should be more appetizing .. or maybe pellet form?

It works
My 17 yr old gelding Sam had been having extremely loose and watery manure for a month or so. I’m really not sure what the cause was. Teeth were floated, 30 days of psyllium, and no change. I did some research and decided to try EquiShure.
As I entered into the 3rd week of treatment, his manure had gone back to normal and remains normal. What a relief.

My horse is so much happier
My horse has been have some stomach issues for a bit. I've tried different grain and other Pro-biotic supplements but and there was some success but his stall was still a mess and he was still being sensitive with his stomach. after two weeks using this as a reset there has been so much more of an improvement! Its been about a month after the last dose and hes still doing really well.

Works as advertised
My horse was colicy for several days and it was discovered she had ulcers. Reduced grain and increased hay, but after the colic, she would continue to have bouts of diarrhea. A friend gave this to her horse and noted a marked improvement. Started my mare on it, and noticed the diarrhea was becoming a thing of the past within the first 10 days of administering.
