Quality has gone way down.
I just found out from the person feeding my animals that this product now contain crimped oats. My elderly, metabolic, donkeys cannot have oats. I will be removing this from my smartpacks.
When I was still able to do my own feeding, I do not remember this product containing oats.

Rich coat and shine
Noticed an immediate difference. My guy had a dull coat, but now has a beautiful deep dark shiny coat. Looks like oil slicked on him! Love this stuff. I was skeptical if it would love up to the hyper, but it absolutely works.

Great Omega 3 Supplement
Omega Horseshine is my favorite omega 3 supplement for all of my horses! My horses are fed a hay-based diet in the fall and winter months. Fresh pasture has an omega 3:6 ratio of 4:1. However, hay has virtually no omega fatty acids due to the drying process. Therefore, I am sure to supplement with Omega Horseshine each winter to ensure my horses are receiving enough omega 3s in their diet for overall health and wellness. This product is a flaxseed base with added vitamins and minerals that may also be lacking in my hay. Best of all, this product is very palatable and my picky Thoroughbreds love it!

Works Great!
Been using Omega Horseshine for my horses forever & it works great. Super shine at spring shed, grows mane & tail & helps alot with hoof growth. Great product, although getting pricey!

Read instructions
The amount the Smartpak gives in the wells is far lower than the recommended feeding amount. I suggest buying it in bulk so you can feed the proper amount. However, my horse stopped eating it as it’s a large amount of powder, and the barn he is at doesn’t soak feed. I swapped to SmartShine which has a lower feeding rate.

Didn't work for my horses
I've been on the hunt for a good coat/hoof supplement that would help with giving my horses a nice, shiny coat and (fingers crossed) help my gelding with re-growing the tail he ripped out over the winter. Needless to say, I'm over 6 months into feeding 1 cup per day to both my horses and neither of them have seen any improvement in coat quality. If anything, my gelding has actually seemed to have drier skin and is more itchy than before - so he might be allergic to one of the ingredients. Wish this had worked, it's a great price for the amount of product you get (about 4 months per 45lb bag when feeding 1 cup per day).

Great supplement
I've been using Omega Horseshine for around 5 months, and my horse is super shiny this summer. He always had a handful of dapples, but this year it's more than double. Last but not least, he used to have fairly dry poops, and since using Omega Horseshine they're normal.
