Why We Love This
Protect your horse from the elements at an unbeatable value with the SmartPak Classic Turnout Blanket. The 600D ripstop polyester outer is waterproof but breathable so your horse stays warm and dry during inclement weather. Plus, it also has a polyester lining and fleece padding at the withers to help prevent rubs. Additionally, roomy shoulder gussets give your horse the freedom of movement he needs and a tail flap provides some extra protection from wind, rain, or snow. Finally, two front buckles, cross-belly surcingles, and elastic leg straps provide an adjustable fit and keep the blanket securely in place.
Please note: We recommend placing embroidery on a surcingle. Embroidery on the body of the blanket may interfere with the blanket's waterproofing.

Very nice medium turnout!
Ordered an 84” for our gelding and a 72” for our mare. Both fit perfectly. These blankets run just a little big, but not too much. The sizing is consistent and we didn’t have to play the exchange game like we’ve done with other brands.

All around blanket
Recently got this blanket and just put it on my mare today. It doesn’t run too large or too small, got her size and it fits well. I can tell the quality is good! Only complaint is that it’s way darker than I thought it would be, but I guess that’s because the cover photo is in the bright outdoor lighting. Very worth it for the price! I got it for $85 with a special code they had and it’s well worth the money. She finally has a new sheet and I give it a 10/10!

Quality sheet!!
I bought this turnout sheet in a 72" and couldn't be happier with it. It is very well-constructed of quality fabric and hardware. The elastic leg straps are very thick and durable. The fit is generous and my horse is very comfortable whether he is leisurely grazing or playing hard during his turnout time. I highly recommend this sheet.

I received my blanket today and I absolutely love it. It fits my thoroughbred mare perfectly as if it was made for her! Her movements are not restricted in the shoulder area and she doesn't choke herself when she's grazing. Couldn't be happier with the fit. Material feels durable and good quality. The medium weight filling is dispersed throughout most of the blanket, not just along her back like her old blanket. So I know she'll be warm. The best part is that I didn't cringe when I saw the price! Can't beat that! My only complaint is that I wish it came in more colors like burgundy or purple for the diva mares!

I really like this blanket however when I first received the blanket it had writing and marks all over it. I have contacted customer service and they wrote back once. Then I replied with pictures to show them what I was talking about. I have not heard back from them and it has been weeks. Usually I can't complain about smartpak but I am not happy for the amount that I paid for this item and how it arrived. It fits my horse well but if it was brand new then why did it have writing all over it.

I liked the quality of material seemed well made.
I loved the color, Kelly green. I ordered a size 72 as that was what my mare measured (71" actually) and she has a spring and winter blanket in that size. This runs large however it was way too big and long on her so I had to return for an exchange and ordered the weatherbeta genero 1200 turnout sheet in a size 69. I have a petite Arabian mare so this actually fit her. I was disappointed In How long the exchange process took. I returned it on the 9th of the month, it was received by Smartpak on the 13th and I did not get my exchange until the 31st of the month. Can't say if the new one will hold up in the rain until next rain comes now but at least it fits

Good fit but flimsy
Bought this in December and less than a month later it has huge rip along the back. Fabric too flimsy for young horses who like to play (have another for my old guy which is fling ok). Disappointed as it fit my 3 y.o perfectly

This blanket is really nice! It does nice when it's snowing and repels water nicely!! I do wish it was made with attachment rings for attaching a hood. So that's my only reservation.

Great Blanket for the price
The blanket is great. Fits great. Looks great. My only complaint was that it did not come with the leg straps. I finally had a chance to get on to verify that the blanket was supposed to come with them after struggling to get a couple odd ball ones I had laying around the tack room to work (still not great) but at least there are straps to hold blanket in place. Guess I'll be calling after the holiday to see why the blanket didn't come with them as is says?

the quality of this blanket for the price cant be beat!! its well made & stitching seems well done & sturdy. My only disappointment regards the sizing....I purchased a size 87", obviously for a LARGE horse. The length is perfect, the tail flap sits appropriately. The front end however is very narrow and a bit snug even on the last buckle hole, my horse is long and tall but pretty narrow up front still so its not because of him being overly sized in his shoulder/wither area. Also the belly straps are at the very end with no more room to spare, and hes not fat! I would have thought that a size 87" blanket would be roomy everywhere and appropriately sized to a size 87 horse, not just in length. I kept the blanket because the price was great, and my horse will only be wearing it on those VERY frigid days and not for extended time periods. Im guessing the "normal" sized blankets are hopefully more appropriately sized:)
